    The worst 60$ I've ever spent, I am beyond livid. I love single player games, and I hate shooters, and I waited for this over-hyped game for so long only to be let down. After playing this game and feeling so bored, I was told "it stops being boring about halfway through" which is an absolute lie, the terrible pacing does NOT pick up. Shame on any critic that's enough of a hack to giveThe worst 60$ I've ever spent, I am beyond livid. I can't believe IGN is the only company that showed any integrity with an honest review.
    Today I was on the phone with a representative from Sony trying to get a refund, all to no avail. He also said, they've had a ton of calls asking for refunds since the game released. This game is a terribly mundane walking simulator. Kojima has lost his way, and he's NOT a true auteur like Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro director)
    Miyazaki is a master of his craft, and Kojima is a washed up, pretentious, has-been.

    What a heck? All I have to say is you don t need a ps4 to "play" this **** is a freaking movie, an interactive movie blended with a walking simulator! Piece of **** is just selling becouse of Kojima s name. Stay away from this garbage. We want GAMES,not MOVIES!

    That’s it! The new Kojima game! Like it or hate it ! Unfortunately, I am in the second category: The game have too long cinematic scenes not funny that try to blow your mind. The rhythm is too long ... like in any recent Kojima’s game! Then you can play! The game is for hiking that Gran Turismo is for car racing. You prepare your path, your package, then make a poo while readingThat’s it! The new Kojima game! Like it or hate it !     For a game that claim to be a kind of critic against SNS ... it’s empty like Google+ was ... but have commercials embedded like Facebook have .. Just to finish and that not really a big point but I feel the game is not very perfect in graphics and animations but score sounds good! Also if you didn’t put a ‘like’ for this game on your favorite sns, Kojima himself said that you are too stupid to understand something that is even obscure for him! But you may love this game like people who love climb and hike in real life in an empty open world.    … Expand

    this GAME IS VERY REPETITIVE delivery sim and the story is beyond lack luster in my opinion but is has some decent graphics and voice acting but their is no game play at least any that is fun

    Es un poco pesado. Las escenas son muy buenas pero llega a aburrir cuando tienes que recorrer grandes distancias y no hay mucho por hacer. Los jefes son fáciles.

    Más aburrido imposible. Menudo trozo de mierda. El personaje es súper brusco en sus movimientos y es muy desesperante quedarte atrapado en una piedra de 10 cm d altura. Kojima nos toma por idiotas

    Es un juego aburridísimo, en el que lo único que tienes que hacer es ir de un punto A a uno B. Se hace supertedioso. Se merece el cero y con creces.

Su historia es interesante pero tremenda mente distanciada puedes pasar sin saber nada mas por horas, su sistema de combate es terrible y su sigilo no termina de encajar del todo bien. Aunque gráficamente este bien yo me compre el juego esperando algo mas y me defraudo incluso en la exploración una pena llevo 4 horas jugadas un sinceramente no puedo mas.… Expand

    Es un juego muy repetitivo , su mapa es realmente repetitivo igualmente , no hay mucha diversidad en los escenarios siempre son los mismos , no hay acción ..prácticamente se trata de caminar de un punto a otro , muy tedioso y aburrido , para nada recomendable

Yet it fails miserably practically in all of that and also commits the worst sin of video gaming - it is not fun but just tedious chore.     Mou, pas tellement ambitieux, des caméos inutiles, des mécaniques pas réellement innovante.
    Sur-vendu par la presse du jeu vidéo, et autres fan hardcord.
    Les MGS était bien, mais ça.. Juste non, beaucoup trop de défauts ou de mécanique inutile.

    Mention spécial : les menus sont HORRIBLE. (en 2019 retrouvé des menus si mal réalisé c'est non.)

    It wasn't konami who needed kojima, it was Kojima Konami. So much remains when a supposed genie works "alone". The story is an absolute joke. Trash dialogues and characters. The script should have been written by someone with a talent for it and the gameplay should have made someone who doesn't always scream out into the world how great he is. Less Twitter and more craftsmanship.

    Insoportable, repetitivo hasta decir basta, sin historia, sin acción los combates son lamentables solo pulsando un botón matas a cualquiera, y todas las misiones son de Recaredo en un mundo vacío. Le doi un 1 por la banda sonora que es lo que más me ha gustado.

    Those two things are great of the "game". The gameplay is bad, its a boring walking simulator. 80% cinematic 20% "gameplay".

    This is what you get when someone keeps hyping a game without any evidence to support it. A very boring game simply asking me to deliver from point A to point B that's it, that's basically it! But what is even worse those lengthy cutscenes in between exceeding the gameplay time. I bought a game not a movie!

    What is really puzzling me how people are just trying to convince themselves that this is actually a nice enjoyable masterpiece "game". It has a nice atmosphere and graphics, I will give that but really it is such an empty world with nothing to keep you interested for 40 hrs.

    What a shame and waste of resources. Guess Konami was right to fire this so-called gaming industry genius who ruined previously for everyone the MGS V experience we were looking for!    … Expand

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
