    Amazing game! The story is unique and interesting. The characters are very well designed. It tool me almost 200 hours to complete the game. Worth every penny.

    Most important game I've ever played. People who just call it a walking simulator never got into the deeper story-line and meaning of this game. The graphics are beautiful, the characters look super realistic due to the motion capture technology they used. This game definitely just isn't about delivering items here and there. I'm 28 hours in and I've enjoyed every moment of it. Sometimes IMost important game I've ever played.     Beautiful, healthy, fresh and wierd. Its meditating and a good walking simulator. Made me appreciate walking in the snow earlier today.

    It's so unlike any other game I've played, hints of metal gear solid, but yet totally different. Very artistic, so much deeper meaning in this game. I can truly say I've never thought I'd love delivering packages in a game, but its oddly satisfying. The story is amazing and unique, piques you curiosity and keeps getting better the more you progress. I have cried, been terrified and stunnedIt's so unlike any other game I've played, hints of metal gear solid, but yet totally different. Very artistic, so much deeper meaning in this game. Great story, Great cinematic, Great graphic, Great music, Gameplay i would say it could take a very very very long time to complete if the mechanic isn't well understand/utilized. Avoid doing extra delivery if you want to get things unlocked asap which might help a lot on those boring delivery. It might not be enjoyable for gamer who like to kill things wracking things or feeling dominance on anything.

    This game is a very slow pace game which doesn't urge me to rush on anything. I could just do one main quest delivery a day and run the remaining at the next day. Chilling for an hour or so just to sit back and enjoy things.

    one thing which frustrate me sometime is the control/physics. pressing R1 does help you to understand the terrain more but still it is giving me the feeling of hitting a wall instead of walking up a slope. especially when the wheel of the bike is actually way bigger than the rock but it hit the rock as if it is hitting a wall.

    - not for gamer who like flashy moves (i.e. close distance teleport, double jump, hack and slash)
    - not for gamer who like fast pace game
    - grinding doesn't make you a lot stronger(killing BT/MULE) only make your life easier for delivery in future
    - not so great physics/control on terrain
    - weird learning curve for gameplay, need to apply other common sense than just being skilled/strong (i.e. does this bike able to move over this rock? sometime yes, sometime no)    … Expand

    Truly a boring, but pretty looking game. Anyone who defends this slap in the face of gamers "videogame" is someone who has settled for less in their games. Way less.

    Death stranding is a unique game and thats what we need these days. It doesn’t have any bugs or huge updates and it doesn’t have micro transactions. It’s a game that is trying to be something new in the gaming industry and in really is.

    Iam game player from 35 years and played over 21k titles, and highly reccomend this piece. This game is amazing, here's why: engaging and thrilling gameplay, yes simply get from A to B but you are totally free to choose how and where, and you encounter challenges that are rewarding. At first there a lot of cut scenes which about to tell you the story, then you go and explore. After 8h inIam game player from 35 years and played over 21k titles, and highly reccomend this piece. This game is amazing, here's why: engaging and thrilling gameplay, yes simply get from A to B but you are totally free to choose how and where, and you encounter challenges that are rewarding. At first there a lot of cut scenes which about to tell you the story, then you go and explore. After 8h in the game I do regret few things, ie. just before mision 14 you can explore more of terrain by bike and no much rain.     The reason why this game should be rated 10/10 is because Kojima-san and his team created a new game mechanics which will give you a new video game experience. If people like Kojima would never exist in the video game industry then we all doomed to play in the clone-games like AC, CoD, etc. So yeah, we should support such games which can boost game industry with a new ideas and mechanics.

    História fantástica, gameplay muito bom e a banda sonora é a melhor que ja vi em jogos.
    Os detalhes gráficos estão qualquer coisa, é impressionante o que conseguiram fazer para uma consola que já tem tantos anos.
    Nunca pensei que caminhar se pode-se tornar tão interessante.

    The game is by no means a perfect game, in terms of combat in game its laughably easy to knockout a whole MULE camp and steal their gear, also battling BT's feels a bit meaningless since they will comeback if you leave the area even for a fraction of a second or wander a bit too far forcing you to just use stealth in the first place.

    That being said, I've been loving every single second of the game, in the beginning without having a proper way to defend yourself from the BT's each encounter is a nerve wracking experience as you try to navigate through enemies you cannot see. The environment is beautifully done, I see many people comparing it to breath of the wild and saying it is empty in comparison. Yes only a few areas on the map have settlements, however this does not mean its empty and meaningless, every part on the map is designed to challenge the user in some way, either by crossing through rivers, rough terrain, or BT or MULE infested terrain. I have by no means finished the game or even close to it, however in the time I have been playing I am constantly surprised by the different mechanics implemented into the game.

    The graphics in the game are beautiful, the motion capture for Norman Reedus is so good it makes you feel weird when he does dumb things in the mirror. the level of detail for it is such that I managed to wrap a cord around a structure at exactly a point I wanted and the thread bent in the exact way it would do in real life. In short this is not a "scary metal gear" this is a completely new game, see a review video on youtube and go in with the correct expectations and you will not be disappointed. if however you are looking for a shooter game, please refer to Gears of War or Call of Duty which should suit your needs perfectly.    … Expand

This game is not for everyone, but it is absolutely perfect for the more inquisitive and thoughtful sort of people. The closest comparison I could draw is to something like "The Leftovers".     When I first started this game I saw it as a pallet cleanser after the onslaught of action games I have been playing but soon I came to realize this game is a work of art. The atmosphere, narrative and way emotional connection I received from this game was unmatched in 2019.

    The game is truly so different that it is hard to say why it is so good, but just like the first time I watched star wars or DBZ, i didn't care if the dialogue wasn't earth shattering or the game play loop was slightly repetitive. The environment you are thrown into is beyond captivating. The exploration brings me back to exploring breath of the wild for the first time. You have a destination to travel to but it isn't always a straight line and planning the trip isn't always enough.
    The game has incredible world building with a story that pulls you in to the amazing post apocalyptic America. Its suspenseful, thought provoking and rewarding

This is game is not like any other one. It’s a realistic journey for the player. A journey that tells a deep intriguing story. A journey for your own mind aswell. Society today is so busy that most people won’t appreciate this game. It’s meditative, but also action filled gameplay when you meet the BT’s or other human enemies. It is truly polarizing in that you'll either love it to pieces like I do, or hate it for being a slow burn of a game filled with arduous journeys and painful experiences it is.     Beautiful open world that evolves on a community basis. Great soundtrack, graphics. Great storytelling and acting. Addictive gameplay loop with a lot of intertwined systems challenging your execution at all times. It’s different though. And it will not please everyone. But personally I love it!

    Just Perfect. Dumb people wont understand the concept. The game is so much complex and fun to plsy, and the story is worth of a christopher Nolan movie, i hope they can bring the secuel.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. [Issue#299]

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
