    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Creo que ningún juego es un 10, pero con todos los absurdos 0-4 que le están dando los haters, o gente que no entiende el juego, tendré que ponerlo como un 10 para combatir contra todos esos “mente cerradas”.

    Solo llevo como 4 o quizás más horas jugando al juego, estoy en el episodio 2, y la verdad es que estoy sorprendido con las historia que te empiezan a contar al principio, los gráficos, los bellos paisajes, y como no... el gameplay el cual hasta donde voy actualmente en el juego, es relajante gracias a los buenos soundtracks que empiezan a sonar durante un viaje, satisfactorio gracias a las mecánicas y animaciones complejas que tiene el juego, y mientras más te sumerges en la historia, más entretenido se te hace el gameplay y el juego, porque los npc que encuentras las paradas te cuentan su historia y te dicen que más gente te necesita, además de lo que te cuentan en la historia principal y etc. Pero si no tienes paciencia o simplemente eres de los que te gusta ir directamente a la acción como los juegos shooters online, rpgs, etc. Este juego quizá no te interese mucho... es más para la gente que tenga una mente abierta a la hora de jugar videos juegos, y que no solo se enfoquen en los mismo de siempre como lo acabo de mencionar.

    Todavía no puedo contar mucho, pero con el tiempo que llevo jugando, el juego me esta encantado, no puedo parar de jugarlo, es una obra única y inmensa que quizá nunca habíamos visto antes, (y eso que el juego apenas me llegó hoy), pero al parecer hay gente que no ve eso y simplemente le dan de 4 a 0 por que si (la mayoría haters), este juego es mínimo de un 8 a 9. Los que si lo están disfrutando, me alegro... y jugar todo lo que podamos!    … Expand

    I understand why this game is so divisive. It definitely isn't for everyone but just because someone doesn't like it, it doesn't mean "they don't get it". It just means they don't like it. Speaking from personal experience though, I think Death Stranding offers an unparalleled level of cinematic immersion. I'm not a Kojima fan - I've never played Metal Gear Solid (or any of his previousI understand why this game is so divisive. I think the development team has managed to create a truly unique environment for the gamers to explore and throughout my time of play, I genuinely felt like I was Sam - traversing through this chaotic world of Post-apocalyptic America. If you're sitting on the fence because of the mixed review this game has received, my recommendation would be that (if this option is available to you) you rent it first and if you like it as I do, then buy it.… Expand

    I'm in awe. This is everything I wished for, amazing adventure and incredibly fresh story. I finally got something fresh, completely new and different from gears of war and call of duty mindless shooter chewing gum kind of games. This year was amazing for single player games and this is a main title to crown them all. Must have title.

    This game is not for all. Begining of the game is long and little bit boring but neccessary (you need to know who is who and whats going about). After that it is another Kojimas masterpiece. Definitly it is fresh and qaulity game which presenting us what new, fresh and how is possible to do in games. Graphic is phenomenal. Loading times short. If you wana play just play it. But with almost everything in life nothing lasts forever, and years ago I reached a point where nothing felt worth it anymore to play. It’s not that I didn’t felt the urge to play, but there was nothing satisfying out there. And then came Dark Souls and Bloodborne. It was all I’ve ever wanted but never could have imagined such a concept and gameplay. Well, with death stranding I’m feeling very much like when I discovered the soulsborne games. It’s just one step ahead in every matter. Of course the graphics are pretty awesome, but what really flashed me was the gameplay. In all those years I’ve never got anything even close to that experience. It’s only my opinion, but this game has next level mechanics, incredibly precise, you just feel every step and move. That’s why it’s so entertaining to just get with your cargo through an area and you piss yourself when the BTs or Mules are coming. Because it’s not just running away like in every other game. It’s like running away irl, where you have to consider every obstacle. It’s **** goosebumps when the enemy is literally flying above you and you have to press R1 to hold your breath, move slowly forwards but consider the balance of your cargo, take care of your BB and think where is a good point to inhale again. And please quick, because the TimeFall is ruining your equipment. There is no other game like this, that’s why so many people don’t get it because they’re just watching it on YouTube and don’t get what it means to bring Sam through all this. A rare 10/10 for me, in a row with Resident Evil 2 and 4, Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Horizon Zero Dawn.… Expand

Kojima's ego got the best of him and this dumpster fire was the finished product. Packing the cast with famous actors doesn't make a good game. Making things as weird as possible for the hell of it doesn't make a good game.     Really enjoying it, not for everyone, but I do believe that Metacritic should verify purchases by having people accounts linked by a simple Trophy check system as some people that are giving Zeros don’t own the game, but it’s looks amazing the audio / music is brilliant, and the story is Amazing to, but it not for everyone,

    I have played over 4 hours and it's like no other game I have ever played. It's slow methodical but so gorgeous. I think we should embrace games that try something new instead of your cods and gtas. Regurgitating the same old formula but with a new shine. Praise be hideo kojima the saviour of video games..

    A well crafted game that managed to make traversal enjoyable and engaging. Intense gameplay, and a thought prevoking story. Nothing like anything else I've played. Im totally memorized and see myself sinking dozens upon dozens of hours into this beautiful world.

    Kojima has done it again. not only is this his first game post leaving konami and moving on from silent hills and metal gear solid but this game is balls to the walls increible and is a must play to any fan of kojimas work on the critically famed Metal Gear Solid frachise must play.

    Потрясающая игра, доселе не виданная, к сожалению игра не для всех и многим не понять, что хотел сказать автор, всё таки Кодзима, у меня такие же приятнейшие ощущения как от игры RDR2

    I like my games with a good unique story, some eye candy, emotional engagement , something thought provoking and a good challenge. Death Stranding is a win in my opinion.

    I went into death stranding with very high expectations, with it being a kojima game and was left disappointed with the tedious and boring gameplay loop of deliver item X to point A to point B.The world was beautiful and detailed and the story was interesting. It's ok.

You really feel the weight of each package you carry. Going from point a to point b may sound boring at first. But it's very engaging when you allow the game to put you in the shoes of the main character. I find it really cool how the meta game and multiplayer has everyone helping each other.     This is a thinking man's game , gameplay is amazing , music and graphics are very immersive, story is very intriguing and above all the strand system is a very unique and new concept , it is not a pew pew vroom vroom game so definitely may not be for everyone.

The visuals are amazing and that's one major part of the soothing sensation it feels like a game you can play and enjoy when you don't want a constant blitz of action the type of gaming that you can just enjoy and let everything else melt away without feeling too stressed out about the next thing that's going to kill you. So far this is the type of game I've been looking for, for a long time something I can just pop into whenever I want and just enjoy a relaxing game with action in it. It's a game that will will be devisive some will love it some wont but this is honestly the first time I've played a game and thought hey this is game of the year worthy.     Demasiado aburrido... mundo abierto absolutamente muerto, sin nada... horas y horas caminando y no hay nada... ni para simulador de caminatas o de repartidor de lo que sea es bueno... prefiero mil veces ponerme a trabajar de repartidor, hasta eso es mas divertido... las gráficas en si no son buenas, el detalle del musgo y las rocas es paupérrimo... funciones totalmente inútiles, lasDemasiado aburrido... mundo abierto absolutamente muerto, sin nada... horas y horas caminando y no hay nada... ni para simulador de caminatas o de repartidor de lo que sea es bueno... prefiero mil veces ponerme a trabajar de repartidor, hasta eso es mas divertido... las gráficas en si no son buenas, el detalle del musgo y las rocas es paupérrimo... funciones totalmente inútiles, las opciones son caóticas, la historia es... como explicarlo para no se hiriente... bueno trataré de terminarlo, para luego pedir reembolso o venderlo a quien quiera desgraciarse la vida con tamaña porquería o a lo mejor ni lo termino, porque es horriiiiible de aburrido.

    I wanted to love this game. It's been so hyped, but after playing most of the day today, launch day.

    PROS:
    - Beautiful visual
    - Great music
    - Innovative concepts

    CONS:
    - Slow
    - Repetitive
    - Not enough action

    You're basically a glorified delivery man. It's a walking simulator. It's "meh". Not my thing.

Amazing graphics on a console which is epic smooth transition from an area to another is amazing. Its not for everyone yes its not it will take a lot of time from you bit the reward is amazing , to get the last piece your colleague needs is amazing , getting like i never get likes like that from my entire life lol. Review bombing is ok people thinks what ever Hideo will do will impress them No he is doing what he likes and he did it with amazing cast. , team , Guerrilla games and Sony .     As for the game itself, I think everybody wants to be the king... rescue the princess, and blast their way through swarms of enemies, delivering a hail of shrapnel upon them, all whilst shruging off glancing bullets from them in return, and riding off into the sunset with the damsel in distress at their side. People want sensationalism, and an experience that caters towards their own bias. God forbid they should ever open their minds and experience something that isn't scripted to their own desires or shortcomings.    … Expand

I you were looking for a shooting game like Fortnite, Battlefield, Call of Duty then this game is not for you. This game for me it is fun and in the sametime you feel loneliness in this changed open world, I noticed it has some elements of Metal Gear and P.T. Silent Hill's. And the game simply doesn't draw you into story line or the universe as I thought it would. Yes the story line has interesting facets to it but just doesn't make the game better. It has a lot of repetitive doubling-back and forth (which I find very annoying in games). It's sad really. This game had enormous potential and I feel they threw it away.

    People out there giving it 10's also throw in claims like "you aren't intelligent if you hate the game" or "it's for mature and more refined people" instead of saying what makes it so good in their opinions. They lash out and try to pin the blame on you for no liking it instead of simply accepting the fact that some people will find its not that great of a game.    … Expand

    Best Game Ever In This Edge

    The game is unique, and the bombing review got me. The game is set by the minuses of those who have not played it. A rich atmosphere, an amazing plot, an excellent acting, excellent unique gameplay.

    Me he aburrido mucho con este juego, no hay mucha variedad de enemigos y las misiones llegan a ser muy repetitivas, vale la pena por la película pero como juego no es muy atractivo.

    I play the game 20h+, a good game, it does not deserve to be bombarded with so much hate, how in the world a gamer can give this game a 0 rating? Congratulations to the team that worked on this game, thank you for this original idea, the suspense, the creativity, the fun, the adventure, and the vision that is Death Stranding.

This is not for the casual self-proclaimed "gamer" that requires fast-paced gunslinging action with killstreaks and points flashing on the screen to provide them with constant dopamine. I'm around 12 hours in and the game is far from "boring". From what I can tell so far, the game'sDeath Stranding is like a fine wine, it takes a certain level of maturity and appreciation to enjoy.     Just outstanding. Just perfect. I had my doubts, especially after the huge rating drop shortly after release. But death stranding is just extraordinary experience. Fantastic analysis of the most fundamental themes of human kind.

    This game is not for everyone, with that being said if you’re looking for something new, innovative, and emotionally charged this may be your ticket out of the boring repetitiveness that is modern gaming. How many times do we have to play a rerelease of far cry, call of duty, and Skyrim before we open ourselves to something truly new and different?     This game could have been incredible but what se got instead is a glorified walking simulator crammed with non-sensical boring cutscenes. If this was a movie it might have been...decent? But as a game it's basically you delivering packages all the time with a small part of that time being occupied with mediocre combat (?) and mildly interesting visses. Buy at your own risk.

    My girlfriend is really enjoying it, and I'm enjoying watching her play. Beautiful world, interesting soundtrack, chill gameplay. The story can be a bit hard to follow, but worth getting invested in. The pace reminds me of some of the quantic dream games. Not for everyone, but very neat to others.

Losing packages can be frustrating but it's part of the fun of the game (think Eve Online style despair feeling of losing stuff you've collected). I've been enjoying the game so far and love the motion capture in the cut scenes (there are many, again this is a Kojima game). There is combat but it's spread out and can be frustrating because your goal is usually to deliver a bunch of cargo, not be an action hero fighter. There are easy ways around combat once you learn a handful of simple strategies (Sam is not a great fist fighter). Terminal entries and emails have been interesting and fill in some of the lore but won't be attractive for gamers who hate reading. The combination of the soundtrack and overall aesthetic of the world, environments and characters has kept me hooked and continuing to build the chiral network. I've seen a few of my friend's structures in my game and it's fun to see where they've been and use items they've left as a free shortcut. It's a slow paced game and is almost more like a cinema experience early on. While this definitely isn't a game for everyone, I have no idea why some are rating it a 0 as if they're surprised about what's in it, to me it was basically what I expected it to be. I'm not here to hate on the man, but this is the kind of narrative you would expect to see at a avante garde film festival. Nothing wrong with that, but gameplay clearly takes a backseat to the concept. Maybe some people are into games-as-cinema, but essentially the gameplay is that I'm spending my time balancing a giant backpack for 20 minutes trudging from place to place, often with very little happening. As you get farther in, you get attacked more, and maybe it gets more intense when you reach areas beyond where I've seen. In any case, enjoy the sounds of a screeching baby strapped to your chest when you do encounter some danger. And don't expect a deep combat system.… Expand

    Most of the bad reviews make it obvious that they played for a short time then came here seething. Once you hit chapters 3 and 4, and graduate from the most basic mechanic of delivery in the game, and pick up combat... it completes the experience. Then it gets even better with each part following. Shy away from the "OMG SO BORING" spam reviews. They didn't play the whole game.

The characters are interesting. The “bts” are genuinely horrifying. The moment to moment gameplay ranges from easy going to incredibly tense. The variety of gameplay slowly increases as you get used to mechanics and systems. The graphics are beautiful. The soundtrack and how the music is implemented is kinda neat. There are two things I don’t like about the game so far. The product placement is dumb and holding the triggers to steady yourself under a heavy load is a bit excessive. That’s it! The game is great minus a couple flaws that are easily ignored. Bottom line... I would suggest ignoring the negative reviews that have an obvious axe to grind.     Iam 10 hours in and so far the game is great.....The grafichs with 4K checkerboard and HDR is very nice.

    I have played videogames hole my life and Iam an old man. I therefore apreciate a game that is top quality and that is different from other typical games. This is art....

    Es unir el basto mundo de Zelda Breath of the Wild pero vaciándolo, es la lentitud de Red Read Redemption pero sin posibilidad de que ocurran cosas, es la exploración de los walking simulators pero mal ejecutada.

    Los gráficos son muy buenos y la historia pasable, cringe, una rareza y ya que te has gastado el dinero que mínimo que saber de que iba el asunto, pero ahí se acaba Death Stranding. Estoy seguro que Kojima ha hecho lo que ha podido y en su cabeza este juego era mucho mejor, pero ha salido mal el experimento.

    Pero es que luego están las cosas que no hay donde encajarlas en un juego ni con el guión en la mano: los likes, el mear, la publicidad grotesca, el bebé estresandose, Sam mirándote directamente...

    Como juego le doy un 3 y le sumo 0,5 por la extrañeza y 0,5 porque hay que tener los huevos muy gordos para haber sacado este proyecto adelante

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
