    The Infamous Death Stranding, Oh my god! What do I say....The Game is definitely my game of this generation.

    It finally dared to do something greater and unique than most of the AAA games out there! I hope more games try to do something unique even if they don't turn out to be profitable.

    Simply a masterpiece by Hideo Kojima. I can’t stop playing this game. The story is amazing and the gameplay has a satisfying loop.

Останавливает только сон) Игра атмосферная и к этой атмосфере добавляет музыка, которая начинает играть тогда, когда это нужно. Про катсцены я и говорить не буду, они великолепны.     Excelente trabajo de Kojima, tiene toda la esencia de sus juegos, una excelente historia y cinematicas que te atrapan, el juego te hace querer seguir avanzando y avanzan, definitivamente Kojima lo hizo de nuevo

The story and the world of the game is simultaneously accessible and obtuse, but always enthralling, propped up by fantastic writing and performances. While this game is not fun, it is engaging. It beckons the player into it's world and forces them to experience the drain that it places on it's inhabitants. Much of the joy in this game comes through connecting the United States and interacting with the objects other players construct in the online portion. This is a game that thrives off of the users desire to be kind to others and lend a helping hand and the sense of warmth one recieves when helped. This game is bravely different that what we have come to expect from the AAA game industry. Your weapons are non-lethal. Most often you sneak places. This game is about connecting with others, not doing harm unto them. Much like other Kojima games, it is relentlessly dark but hopeful. It lacks much of Kojima's unhinged absurdity, delivering it's convoluted elements to the player slowly over time, often in disarming ways. Overall Death Stranding is a near perfect game with deep movement, an element that in most games is minimized and simplified, a strong inventory management system, an intriguing story and world and a UI and aesthetic direction that exerts the misery and struggle of these other elements even further onto the player. If one were to search for a complaint to have about this game, the menus are a bit obtuse and while most of this is to an effect, certain elements feel like oversights rather than design decisions. This is a game that respects your time and intelligence and offers you an experience. If you are patient, willing to accept that this medium does not need to be purely fun but rather can be introspective and search for greater meaning in the facts of our existances, you will find a lot to love here.     Any troll saying this game is only a walking simulator has clearly not played this game. Death Stranding is out of this world amazing. Wow! Loving every second. Hats off to Hideo Kojima...again. Thank you for making this incredible game I didn’t know I wanted.

    The game is strange.. yet compelling. I find myself wanting to go back into the world, yet it's all about delivering packages and making connections. It's absolutely, strangely brilliant and I wouldn't change anything about it.

    It's not for everyone. The gameplay is about how you're going to manage your inventory to cross the terrains for making your deliveries. The side quests can get tedious at certain points however the story did keep me hooked up for more. If you're open minded to try something new this is the game you've been wanting for.

    No existe diferencia entre las 2 modalidades de dificultad, simplemente porque no las tiene, los mismos fanaticos del juego lo mencionan: "es un gran juego pero que no va a gustar a todos", es como que te digan que vas a vivir mas que la mayoria pero que eres un enfermo incurable y que tarde o temprano dejaras este mundo....

    Son tan absurdos los "enemigos" que los que se consideran "dificiles" es tan facil ocultarse de ellos sin que te escuchen para continuar repartiendo paquetes, ni que decir de la enfermedad mental del desarrollador: un meon compulsivo al que en su mente retorcida le hace creer que crecen hongos con su aguita amarilla...

    Realmente no vale la pena mas alla de llenarle los bolsillos a las tiendas que distribuyen este juego y sobretodo pagarle las comisiones a ciertos fanaticos que titulan sus videos de forma sensacionalista para que incautos caigan y pasen por caja para luego decepcionarse del simulador de entregas.

    Ah y me olvidaba, te dicen que el mundo donde se desenvuelve es del tipo post apocaliptico y por eso te encuentras en un mundo vacio y que le falta conexion a lo largo y ancho del pais , sin embargo esta tan bien "conectado" por una red invisible que permite darte like por cada paquete entregado , es decir te dicen que necesitas interconectar puntos del mapa, y sin embargo descubre que existe una red de conexion (lo absurdo en su maxima expresion), solo es coherentes para jugadores enfermizos que confunden gastar compulsivamente    … Expand

    Went in with no expectations. Takes a few hours to get use to the bombardment of reading and understanding the dynamics of the menus and the story; even given the many cutscenes at the start, but once you catch your stride,requires a lot of patience and strategy.

Today, I played around 6 hours and barely noticed that all that time I just delivered materials, cases and boxes to other communities which needed them; I also enjoyed the bridge mechanics, creating bonds with other players and the Community supporting each other with accurate signs and likes, as well as donating good weapons and undelivered materials.

    This game is addictive. Definitely not for everyone. It isn't an action game. It is more of a graphical novel with a complex storyline, mixed with resource mngt, tedious but rewarding 'walking' missions that are basic fetch quests to enhance your abilities and push the story forwards.

    This is my second most favourite game of the year. The first one was Sekiro. Absolutely fantastic story! Story wise this beats Sekiro. Sekiro beats this game in terms of challenge as I find challenge is somewhat lacking in this game, especially in the beginning the game is too easy.     I am currently 23hrs into the game in Chapter-3 and things are getting pretty interesting. I love the relaxed gameplay of this game. What others are saying as boring and repetitive is strangely enjoyable for me. The item management, route planning and finally the traversal is very well polished (as expected for all Japanese made games) story telling is a bit of a slow paced compare toI am currently 23hrs into the game in Chapter-3 and things are getting pretty interesting. I love the relaxed gameplay of this game. What others are saying as boring and repetitive is strangely enjoyable for me. The item management, route planning and finally the traversal is very well polished (as expected for all Japanese made games) story telling is a bit of a slow paced compare to other Kojima games of the past but still pretty interesting. Finally, the most unique aspect of the game is the "social strand" as they called it. Structures and equipment used and left by others will have their own impact on how you traverse the landscape and it is well executed in my opinion. Players can even donate their own materials to finish a huge construction project such as a highway, which in turn will benefit everyone once it is finished. Never experience anything like this in my 20 years of gaming (it is quite different from the multiplayer aspect of the Souls games like others are claiming). The game prioritize your friends list for this "strand system" where you are most likely going to see structures from your friends first, but you can also choose to enter into a "strand contract" with other players so all the equipment they left behind will surely appear in your game world as long as the contract is binding. It is for me the most enjoyable part of the game. A unique experience and definitely a welcomed break from all the games these days which always involve guns, loud explosions, killings and gore.… Expand

    劇情一流，畫面一流，玩法我喜歡。看似貧乏的玩法，但自身下去嘗試則完全不同，並不是簡單的a->b點，出發前需要考慮負重、配置等等，途中得考量路線、平衡、道具取捨，遇上bt又得考慮是否改道？種種因素使得遊玩並未ign那三流媒體說的如此遭！！！！

    I should have known when I could not find a gameplay clip on PSN except a short trailer that there was a reason to stay away from DS. As everyone has written, it is more like a movie. And the embryonic nonsense just made me feel completely uncomfortable to the point that after 20 minutes i just shut it off and promised myself never to purchase a game before checking Metacritic first. Since probably 200 or 300 people were involved in the making of this hokum I am sure there will be 10/10 reviews but don’t let them fool you. It actually makes No Man’s Sky seem like it hit the high bar in exploration style video games. I am so glad I did not buy the $79.00 version. Its sad that Sony would release a game like this at all. They should start rejecting games. Between this and the $4.99 games PSN is really become a joke. With the power of the chipset its almost a crime that we are still seeing games like Tropico retreads, LA Noire buggy, boring and so the worst script of any game I have ever played. And yet another lame online COD with people jumping in the air and running around like soccer players with no strategy just run and gun. So little innovation after all these years with these platforms. The best game I have played in a long time was Resident Evil 2 Remake. And I came across it by chance.… Expand

    Konami is right not letting Kojima get 100% creative freedom. He just made a boring game and feels like work game. It is not fun. He has successfully created a new genre of game, a delivery walking simulator sim. Dont buy this game wait for a sale. I really hope Sony learned their lesson.

If you like the gameplay loop of Elite Dangerous, Euro Truck Sim or just wouldnt mind a decent sci fi story it is pretty solid. Dont expect an action game though. It is pretty sick seeing the community come together and how it incorporates semi synchronus online. Really reallyId give it about a 7 but picked 10 because of the idiots review bombing it at Zero. Its not bad but not great. If you like the gameplay loop of Elite Dangerous, Euro Truck Sim or just wouldnt mind a decent sci fi story it is pretty solid. Dont expect an action game though.     Um dos gráficos mais bonitos da geração, um universo curioso e bem trabalhado que faz a história ser bem cativante, mas a gameplay... Se prepare para a gameplay mais maçante que você já viu, que se torna bem repetitiva, que te faz fazer coisas bobas como apertar um determinado botão pra se equilibrar, ou até mesmo parar tudo que estiver fazendo para acalmar o BB, é simplesmente chato.     O game é espetacular graficamente. Tem umas umas trilhas sonoras incríveis e uma gameplay simplesmente sensacional e diferente de tudo que já foi visto até hj. O seu modo online é fenomenal é viciante. Ajudar as pessoas num game nunca foi tão satisfatório. Os efeitos sonoro são um show a parte.... incrível!!!!

    The complexity of movements and interaction with environments is so refreshing. I understand where people may not want to play but this is incredible! Kojima and co are worthy of the highest of fives! Thank you!

    Ok no el juego no es un 0 como muchos dicen, los gráficos son geniales y la historia es interesante. El problema es que es muy lento y poco interesante de jugar.
    Si tienes poco tiempo en tu día para jugar (menos de 2 horas) no lo recomiendo.
    Es una lastima por que si tenia mucho interés en este juego.

    This game blows more dicks than my Aunt Helen and its only normal for Hideo Blowjima to make such a load of garbage. Its just MGS5 but worse and thats hard to do. Doesn't even have Quiet's sexy ass to make the journey worth. Overhyped Buttcheeks.

    To preface this, just like this game does for hours on end, I've been a fan of Hideo Kojima's work at Konami ever since I was a teenager. MGS has always managed to blow me away with its innovative gameplay, magnificent story telling and great characters. And it all peaked with MGS5 The Phantom Pain, which took the idea of an open world stealth sandbox and absolutely surpassed anyTo preface this, just like this game does for hours on end, I've been a fan of Hideo Kojima's work at Konami ever since I was a teenager. MGS has always managed to blow me away with its innovative gameplay, magnificent story telling and great characters. And it all peaked with MGS5 The Phantom Pain, which took the idea of an open world stealth sandbox and absolutely surpassed any expectations. I put hundreds of hours into that magnificent game. But Mr Kojima's latest endeavour has left me quite disappointed. I preordered it after being intrigued by the cryptic nature of the trailers, the ambitious idea of the "Death Stranding" and the promising gameplay mechanics. But they didn't do much more than promise I'm afraid. When I ask myself what is the thing that bores me the most about games, I certainly think of fetch quests and lengthy cutscenes. Which is unfortunately most of what this game has to offer. I have already been playing for 10 hours and I am afraid I have been driven to a point of absolute boredom where not even the intriguing story will manage to get me back from. After countless quests involving delivering cargo from point A to point B under the guise of "connecting the US", I simply lack the willpower to continue playing the post-apocalyptic Fed Ex errand boy simulator that this game has turned out to be. It is not often that I feel like taking an indefinite brake from a game, especially a newly released one, but alas, I feel like there is nothing more to this game than this cycle of running around, putting down ladders and ropes, sneaking around BT's and delivering items. Also, let's not forget the story which is told through seemingly endless cutscenes that showcase Sam's lack of personality and his little "touch allergy". All in all, This game's greatest issue is the fact it often forgets it's supposed to be a game first and foremost. With a lack of meaningful and interesting gameplay, a severely lackluster MC and an abundance of lengthy cutscenes, this game makes me feel betrayed by the game director I used to adore so much. I must however give some credit for the beautiful visuals, both in and out of the cutscenes, as well as the soothing and atmospheric soundtrack, courtesy of LOW ROAR and Chvrches. However, I bought a game, rather than a movie or a music album, so I must unfortunately give this failed masterpiece a negative rating.… Expand

    the gameplay is this: put a rubber band on your controller to go forward and watch a movie or go to the pub and drink some beers then come back. The game is focking boring and stupid. After having skimmed through a large portion of them, I have came to the conclusion that a large majority of the negative reviews are either trolls, konami shills, or people who simply don’t get it. Gaming in today’s day and age has been whitewashed, people now come to expect the same formula released every 6 months rehashed with a different skin, presented under a different theme but none the less the gameplay in those games remain passionless, and lack substance. Sure the new Call of Duty looks great, but beyond the flash it is just a remake of call of duty 4. Most people have become accustomed to these kinds of games that when they play something like death stranding, they hate it. This game will not receive the praise it deserves because of companies like EA bastardizing the industry for a quick buck, and anyone who can’t grip the immaculance that is death stranding lacks just as much tegridy as the companies that make the passionless games they’re used to playing. As for my review? What else can I say, the game is brilliant. Boring walking sim? Not even close, sure there is a lot of walking but In a post apocalyptic world you are going to do a lot of walking. Chances are you’ll almost never come across a band of nomads driving cars welded together from other cars like in mad max, a true apocalyptic scenario will likely be exactly as the one death stranding imposes. None the less, as I begin to trail off point. I am only half way through episode 2, and so far I have been almost dragged twice to my death by BT’s, and ambushed once by MULES. So if you are someone who thinks all you do is walk, then you never really gave the game a chance or just haven’t played at all and are just being trendy by hating something you do not understand or you think is cool to hate because your favorite loser YouTuber doesn’t think it’s fast paced enough to deserve the recognition as the piece of art this game actually is. Kojima is on a constant ego trip for a reason, the man is a genius. And even if I never play this fame again after I play through it, I will continue to support developers like Hideo, because developers like Hideo aren’t passionless hacks like EA or Ubisoft. Sadly like I said, this game won’t get the praise it deserves and people will continue to throw their money at companies like EA that are run by actual sociopaths. Oh well, people always gonna be blissful to their own ignorance… Expand

Interesting concepts, expansive world, lots of packages to pick up, routes to figure out and incremental things to unlock. The aspect of working with others to make things is a stroke of genius. Seeing a username you've seen a couple times before feels great, and I love the trekking to unlock we areas. MyI think this kind of gameplay caters to a certain type of person, which I luckily am. Interesting concepts, expansive world, lots of packages to pick up, routes to figure out and incremental things to unlock. The aspect of working with others to make things is a stroke of genius. Seeing a username you've seen a couple times before feels great, and I love the trekking to unlock we areas. My only issues are UCA distribution centres all looking the same, overuse of slowmo when performing certain actions (the 4th or 5th time it starts to grate.) and that it's such a shame the MULEs don't offer more of a challenge when infiltrating their camps.
    Really enjoyed my time with this game, it's definitely not for everyone but I think for a lot of people it will scratch a certain itch (though it most definitely won't be an MGS itch).    … Expand

Can't speak for the story much since again, im only a few chapters in, but i just gotta drop a 10 because i'm already enjoying it and know it's only gonna get better. I can already tell this isn't gonna be a fun game if you're impatientNot even halfway passed the beginning and this game is already worth my $60.     Le doy un 10 para contrarrestar a esa gente toxica que le pone un cero al minuto de salir el juego, llevo 25 horas jugadas y es un juego muy original, hace que simplemente andar sea divertido, tienes que gestionar tú ruta,la carga,la carga que lleves en el vehículo,armas etc. Un juego diferente y muy arriesgado que sale airoso por lo menos para mí que me está gustando mucho.     I was hesitant to get it because of the mixed reviews but I said screw it and picked it up at the midnight release and proceeded to play it for 12 straight hours. Game of the year so far. For as simple as the premise is the world is beautiful and lonely feeling. Reminds me of playing Body Harvest on N64 back in the day for some reason. It's fun trying to scale mountains with ladders and climbing ropes to avoid the dangerous territory only to realize when you get to the top that the top has enemies too. You'll unlock vehicles and guns after about 10 hours. Just do the main quests and get to chapter 3 asap. You can always go back later.… Expand

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
