NPC mouths are not moving and voices are randomly(men speak in woman voice and via versa) when on open world fps drops so low. 50/50 to get out of car works. Game crashes when somethin more is happening. Like stealing car and police see you, sttraight game crash....Dont buy it.… Expand

    This is my first rate review on metacritic. I've been waiting for this game for so long. Thank you CD project red, you ruined my holiday. graphics are just a shame, how can this game look worse than GTA 5 (2014) !? This is impossible to play, it is very slow.

Uma vergonha injogavel, com texturas horriveis, bugs e crashes. Parabéns cd projekt red, por ter enganado milhoes de fãs.

    Completely unplayable on a PS4 Pro. Had to push all of my settings down to the lowest settings and even then, I've had error CE-34878-0 pop up at least 20 times in the short time I had the game on. Zero support from Playstation and no response from the developer. Terrible. I created a brand new Metacritic account just to share this because I'm THAT frustrated.

    Bought for PS4 Pro, completely unplayable. No textures loading on scenery or NPCs. Quests unable to progress for unknown reasons or checkpoints failing to trigger NpC actions. Functions such as exiting a vehicle not able to be used for no reason. Overall even when textures had loaded there was just a soft to the appearence of the game like something from PS2 era games.     Играл на slim и pro версиях и даже 30 fps нет постоянные просадки до 20 fps
    ужасная мыльная графика которая режет глаза.

    Unplayable. My game is glitchy to the point of being too frustrating to even play, my partner’s copy was doing OK but encountered a game breaking glitch. Don’t buy this. CDPR are scammers in my eyes now

    After playing the game for awhile (haven't beaten it yet but am very far in the story) I can say that it's given me two opinions. 1 for PS4/console and one for PC. I got a chance to play it on my buddies PC. It literally looks like all the trailers we have seen. That's just how amazing it looks on PC. Crisp clean 0 glitches and fun gameplay. My Ps4 on the other hand, no the sameAfter playing the game for awhile (haven't beaten it yet but am very far in the story) I can say that it's given me two opinions. 1 for PS4/console and one for PC. This game should have waited to come out. I would say CDPR felt pressured by fans because they kept stalling but as a whole we wouldn't have minded it if they released this game next year. It sucks that game developers are at a new trend now of releasing lack luster, half finished games and saying "we can just patch is as we go and slap a 60-70 dollar price tag on it." Seriously? I like to play games as a hobby and it is fun but if this is the route the gaming industry is going I don't want anymore to do with it. This game is in a terrible state right now and isn't fun on console with as many issues as it has.… Expand

    I’m playing this on a day one PS4. With game update 1.04, all graphic settings turned off & it looks absolutely terrible. Walls and surfaces look grainy, some NPC’s look like clay/plastic. You could wait around all day & most textures won’t load in, just looks brutal. The bugs & glitches are funny & you’ll have fun recording them.     was lucky enough to buy this game from eb games physically and was able to return it for a bunch of gift cards spent on games from 2013 like tomb raider and ni no kuni with better **** graphics and gameplay. one of the biggest failures in gaming entertainment

    Never in my life have i ever played a game in such a messy state and i play both fallout new vegas on the ps3 and fallout 77, its a great disappointment that this is the result of such terrible and greedy marketing tricks and development abuse of a company that had won the trust of its audience, well never again

    The game also needs proper AI for the Police and non essential NPCs. The stealth system needs serious improvements; same goes for the melee combat. There's way too much junk-type loot in the game and crafting is sub-par. You can't customise the appearance of your character once past the creation screen. Vehicles can't be tuned or personalised. Transmogrification (or a similar system) it's a MUST and needs to be implemented. The UI needs improvements (especially when it comes to inventory management).

    Three days after the release, I'm giving this game a 4/10; would've rated it lower but they've actually done a good job on the level/city design, sound and music, story and quests, animations and models for the main characters.

    Verdict: Decent game delivered in an incomplete and unplayable state, ruined by deceiving marketing, shady review policies and essentially lack of QA and optimisation. Very disappointing and a shame CDPR chose to do business this way.    … Expand

The police system is a disgrace lightyears away from someting like GTA5. Driving feels floaty and unpolished while combat is mediocre at best. The RPG elements are boring and feel unnecesary.     Feel sorry for those who actually bought this game on ps4. I've got a PC for a price the same as ps4 but the game runs the way better on it. I don't know how it's possible but I'm really sorry for those who has to play in such conditions. Hope it'll be fixed soon

It reminds me of a construction site in the middle of creating a skyscraper and was left abandoned for unknown reasons. Cyperpunk 2077 is a game full of detail and rich in possibilities, but we'll never know the true scope of this game and how deep it goes in this current state, that is, if the game is ever taken into consideration for finishing what was started.

    Many people would say that this is a next-gen game and you shouldn't be expecting to be playing this on a 7 year old hardware. Keep in mind the game was in development for 8 years, way before the concept of a PS4 console. The basic idea of Cyperpunk 2077 started before the last-gen consoles, and outlived them with nothing to show for it in the end. Goes without saying, but that's a little bit unfair for PS4 users. This was announced as a PS4 title, and we as users expected as such. What we got makes it seem like we're left in the past quickly than we died.

    I do hope Sony investigates this issue and I hope sincerely that we, the PS4 users, get our sweet farewell for a console that defined gaming forever.    … Expand

They wernt transparent enough with us when it comes to the last gen consoles and the reason why is because they knew it looked bad but still released it and took the money. I dont want to say it shows their intent but thats what it feels like. I want to say they genuinely care and feel bad, i want to say they worked hard and did their best but somewhere along the lines something happened.     It's such a shame really. At least CDPR has now announced they will refund ps4 players. I may come back and buy this for ps4 in a year or so when it's on sale. My experience is like so many others with glitches, bad UI, crashes, etc, etc. Apart from that, it destroyed the immersion and sense of fun. I went back to RDR2 happily.

    I play on ps5 its unplayable game i update to 1.04 and still have glitches you can't finish mission due to bug I regret to spend money on these game please don't buy wait to the next gan version

    Apart from the obvious bugs and terrible performance on base PS4 it is just a very underwhelming experience. For such a large and detailed world there is almost nothing really happening and nothing to do. Gameplay is repetitive, clunky and AI is just plain stupid. Really sad to say this, but it's just really bad.

    Unplayable, lote of bugs, terrible graphics for the PS4 version and horrible framerate. Very disapointed ... CDPR could at least offer a cyberpunk Key on GoG for PS4 owners as a minimal compensation.

    My heart is broken. Been a giant fan since Assassin of Kings. CDPR released a piece of garbage. I didn’t think it was possible or that they would do it. They lied to you and me. More crashes than any game I have ever paid for. Shame. Took a long time for them to build that reputation and one day to lose it.

I can't define my disappointment with this **** garbage because this is what the game is, a large pile of garbage. I wan't my money back but playstation is another **** greedy enterprise and don't want to give me a refund. The game doesn't even look as a ps4 game. Playstation 2 graphics were better.

BUT, I could almost see how this could happen. CDPR must be buried in development costs, leveraged to the hilt in debt and be desperate for a source of revenue. Why else would they decimate their reputation like this? However, most of the anger has been misplaced. The real ire should be directed at Sony and the Playstation Network. Unlike CDPR Sony has deep pockets and yet they still not only provided the platform but also approved the product for publication on their network. After requesting a refund (through chat because their phone system was conveniently disabled) I was told I was not eligible under PSN guidelines because I had already downloaded the game. It didn't matter that I pointed out that their policy makes exceptions for content that is broken or does not work as intended and trust me Cyberpunk 2077 is the epitome of that statement, I was still told that I would not receive a refund and that the developers would be patching the game over the next 2 months. Also unacceptable. This would be akin to me purchasing a new Toyota that doesn't run and the manufacturer will be out to fix it in the next 2 months, never mind the fact that they let you drive the 2021 model and then delivered a 2006 with more than 200k miles on it. Avoid Cyberpunk 2077 like the plaque. Do not support CDPR in the future otherwise these predatory practices that have seemingly become acceptable in the gaming industry will continue. Oh, and while you're at it, before you make the decision to buy a PS5 you might just want to consider making the switch to Xbox if this is the way PSN is going to treat their customer base. After all, with the arrival of next gen it's the perfect time to switch.… Expand

    They flat out hid the ps4 and xbox videos because they knew it was going to bomb. For a game that has been in development for this long and was supposed to be out BEFORE the new generation of consoles to look like a game made in the 90s is just a slap in the face to everyone who actually cared about this game. I hope theor stocks fall even more.

When you drive the frame rates drops, drive faster and your console might crash, drive in the city and frame rates will drop to 16. Contrary to the deceptive gameplay demo and what CDPR advertised, the city is not as crowded as they lead us to believe, many streets are dead. GTAV has a far more alive city with NPCs and animals - that’s a 7 year old game. Also, the game is missing many basic RPG features regarding character customization. After creating your character you cannot change your hairstyle or add something like a tattoo. Of course, this will eventually be added in the future, but it is worth noting. I cannot comment on the story, am sure it is good, I simply cannot bother go thru with it in the current state of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 feels like an Alpha built, it doesn’t feel like a beta, it feels like an early access game 18 months from its intended release. Finally, today CDPR “apologized” for the state of the game and asked us to refund the game if we desired. Problem is, Sony does not and is not giving back refunds for digital games that have already been downloaded. And based on their apology letter, Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 will get some eventual fixes, but it will still look like a PS3 game at the end of the day. CDPR charged $60 premium for a AAA game, they deliberately never showed gameplay from a base PS4, and all we got is something not even close to a AAA game. The least they can do for PS4 owners stuck with this game is at least make all future expansion packs (those that they were gonna charge money for) free. Maybe with something like that, they can save what little there is left of the once “good” reputation they had.… Expand

    The game just isn't playable right now. the second you enter combat or drive a vehicle the frame rate drops and the everything just becomes a blocky mess... really disappointed :(

    Unplayable. From creators of Witcher 3 i was expecting big things. Ps4 is crashing every few missions, graphics are terrible, everything is blurry, just junk as of now. Should not be released yet.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
