    This is the best game that I ever played. Why everyone hate Cyberpunk 2077, what did you expect from a console which has been released 7 years ago. I had bugs, but they were all insignificant, defects in the graphics can be seen if you look at close range. The game is cool, and in a few patches it will get even better.

    The story and characters are phenomenal!! The game doesn’t play smooth on PS4 but hey it’s last gen for a reason. I’m happy it’s doesn’t run well on last gen bc it shows the game has a lot of power and sets an example to not put next gen games on last gen. Honestly they should of just release on new gen.

    A mi me gusta el juego, lo que no es normal es que la gente ponga 0 al cyberpunk por sus errores cuando assasing creed tiene muchos bug, como otros juegos y los puntuen como al vallhalla con 7 y a este lo esten enterrando con 3 antes siquiera de salir

    На ps4 pro вполне неплохо. Учитывая что это уже старое поколение. Конечно есть мелкие шероховатости но это не отменяет проработанности игры. Собственно мало какие игры выходят сейчас со старта ровные. Так что думаю нужно потерпеть патчей а не ныть как все зерово.На ps4 pro вполне неплохо. Учитывая что это уже старое поколение.     Of course it's not perfect right now. But I was playing for a few hours on PS4, then I got PS5. Difference in quality is huge. I'm playing on LG Oled 55 (HDMI 2.1). Of course I believe on PS5 there will be dream.
    In terms of game play it's huge and perfect. I can recommend this game for sure on console next gen and I believe that reds will improve for older consoles.     Want to start with the disclosure that I have played the game on a 1 TB PS4 Slim bought in 2019, so relatively newer PS4, for what that's worth. Everyone seems to be having different experiences when it comes to bugs and crashes with Cyberpunk, so I have no idea if the PS4 I am playing on makes a slightly better experience or none at all. Overall, I have loved the game very much so far and it's certainly one of, if not the best RPG I've ever played. I did not have unreachable expectations for this game like some people did. For perspective, My main hope for the game was that we would get a much better and newer Fallout New Vegas, which I loved. I'm thrilled to say that this game is certainly better than Fallout 4 and New Vegas in every single way and the most fun I've had playing an RPG in a long time. However, if you're reading this and had far higher expectations than that, or just don't care for Fallout games at all, Cyberpunk might not be for you. While Cyberpunk is not the same as Fallout by any means, I do think Fallout 4 and New Vegas would be the best examples when trying to describe what type of game Cyberpunk is and give you a comparison point to another game you may have played before.

    For the bad things in this game, and there really is only one bad thing, and that's the bugs and glitches. If you're reading a positive review here, you're probably looking for some confirmation from someone that the graphics, frame rate and bugs aren't as bad on the PS4 as everyone says. In my experience, this has been true. In full disclosure, I have a very high tolerance for glitches. However, what I have experienced so far is nothing more than the standard glitches you may encounter in any Bethesda game. The back lash this game is facing right now, in my opinion is entirely based on so many having completely unrealistic expectations for this game. Expectations no game could ever meet. There are only minor visual glitches and texture pop in (Mostly which is when driving very fast) and frame rate issues at times. I will add that I do think the frame rate has improved significantly since the most recent hotfix CDPR put out for the game. The only time I notice the game "freezing" for half a second is when the autosave feature happens, otherwise it mostly runs pretty smoothly as far as I can tell.

    Those are the only negative things I can say about the game and I think for all the bad things being said about it, it's completely lacking the proper context. The context that this game is the most massive, detailed, complex open world I've ever seen. Any hype you had about Night City and exploring this game world should be completely met if not exceeded. It's simply the most diverse and complex world design ever created in a video game. There are an enormous amount of things to do and see everywhere and you can spend hours in one small area of the city before moving somewhere completely new.

    As far as the combat goes, I'm not an avid 1st person shooter fan but the the gun play is as smooth and enjoyable as any FPS I've played. Perhaps not as well refined as a true FPS, but this is an RPG, so you shouldn't expect that. Once again, compared to Fallout, the shooting mechanics are far better and more fun than any fallout game. The melee combat, while not perfect, is also a blast, particularly once you get a katana or some type of weapon you really enjoy using. Stealth mechanics are not perfect by any means, there are many stealth games out there that are better. However, as I've said before, anything mentioned in the game has to be taken in the context of how many things there are to see and do, and how many choices the game gives you, in terms of play style. Every encounter can be done in different ways, whatever your play style, and the progression RPG system supports those decisions and builds your character the way you want to play. Another side note on the progressions system that I personally like is that it hits the sweet spot between not too simple and not too complicated. I don't enjoy when some games have a progression system that is overly complicated and may take a few hours just to fully understand.

    I could go on and on about the positive things in this game. I'll leave it with this, if you're like me and can only play this game on a PS4 since you can't buy a PS5 right now and you don't have a high end PC, no amount of bugs or glitches have even come close to ruining the total joy I've had playing Cyberpunk. Easily one of the best RPG's I've ever played and I can say one of my favorite games period. This game has certainly met the hype I had for it, but if you expected more and had more hype than what I've said, then it may not be good enough for you. Either way, wanted to leave a review here to give a different perspective from what seems to be completely terrible review scores.    … Expand

I was unexpected by such a strong immersion in the game, having played 13 hours I have not yet passed the first act. You don't want to leave the game, you forget about real life. Mass effect 3 i had 10 crashes and had to restart 3 times, GTA5 had whole buildings pop in numerous crashes and i had to restart over 6 or 7 times due to bugs. CP2077 i have had 3 crashes and have not had to restart my game at all yet.     I'm really amazed at how much trash talk there is for this. On console so far for me its been less glitchy than any bethesda game and load times are better than AC Valhalla (which also has its fair share of glitches). I thinks its just bc its this studio who did it and from anyone else everyone would still be singing its praises. Similar to Star Wars fans just hating what they love lol

    I played over 30 h on PS4 and i can say that this game is amazing and yes there where some glitches but dont forget that we players ask CDP to release the game ASAP !!!! Great job CDP i love your game story is just amazing !!!!

    Am playing on PS4 pro, am about 20 hours in. Had to restart the system twice. But guys this game is awesome - the setting, the plot, the mechanics... everything meets the very high hyped up expectations. Don’t believe the review bombs.

    Amazing game, glitchy to all hell but they promised to fix that, so yea best game of 2020 for sure, narrowly beating control in my mind and yea its a game I will play probably for the next 5-10 years, Amazing gameplay, great loot system, diverse leveling design and an amazing talking system. 10/10 -the glitches

    Despite some bugs , I only experienced a few on pc. I know that’s their are game breaking bugs on the ok’d console versions. Despite all that I want to say this game is amazing from the combat system to the engaging story with multiple paths and endings , a lot of work was put into this game with a lot of heart.     Despite the bugs and glitches at launch I still found this game to be amazing. Such a good story, very heavy in lore, great gameplay and gunplay. Love the mantis blades also.

(the stickers that come with the game are the best quality stickers I've ever seen) The game feels great, the setting is incredible, the game world is very immersive, it has a very fluid battle system and is very customizable to the type of player you are, has the best dubbing I've seen in a video game where they take care of even the nationality of the characters, something I haven't seen even in the movies, the customization is a very strong point of the game, you can tell that they have thought about the players and that they wanted us to have the best experience possible, they have also thought about the streamers and youtubers putting a mode without copyright.     There were some bugs, but after 1.04 almost all of them disappeared. Graphics became much better.
    I believe in developers and that they will fix the rest of the problems. So... 10 in advance.

    I really don't get these negatvies comments. I know there is few bugs (playing on ps4 pro), which can be irritating, but why can't you see all the possibilities that gives you Cyberpunk? there is plenty of interesting tasks, funny conversations, which makes you smile. The character of Johnny is just great. I love this game, which absorbs me so much.

    I really like it. Best game this year. Yeah theres bugs and a couple of crashes but its the most ambitious project ive seen a company take on. I havent put it down yet. The missions are great. Get real Deus ex vibes with a little gta.

    Best freakin' game, that's what I will say. 0 loading screens, story rich, great shooting and melee mechanics and it STRONGLY requires SSD (for all those bad graphics crybabies with ps4 ancient hdd drives)

    (I am on PC, my opinions are not relevant to the console version, that is an entirely different game as far as I’m concerned) This game is absolutely gorgeous, I have spent about half an hour just staring at reflections and textures, it looks phenomenal. I haven’t dipped below 65 FPS with graphics maxed at 1080p, not even during intense combat. Only complaint is the driving doesn’t feel(I am on PC, my opinions are not relevant to the console version, that is an entirely different game as far as I’m concerned) This game is absolutely gorgeous, I have spent about half an hour just staring at reflections and textures, it looks phenomenal.     This game is amazing. Excellent graphics, complex build, very good npc, great mechanics! And I'm not exaggerating. CD Projekt Red did a great job with Cyberpunk 2077. Are there any bugs? yes, but none got in the way. And it was warned that xbox one and ps4 would be in trouble, but an update would soon follow. And that was done. I have nothing to complain about.

    i'm enjoying a lot so far, i have seen a few bugs and glitches but nothing that would stop me from playing the game or enjoying itI have experienced multiple crashes and bugs (nothing game braking but generally annoying).

    The best story since a long time, yes the technical problems are hurt a lot but, i love the insentinsive of the Story. Short and on the point! not like other 100 hours boring open world games. If you a oldschool gamer you dont think that this problems are so terrible i mean look after Gothic 3 this was more terrible but a game with charakter

    Cyberpunk 2077 is an incredible game, even with all its technical problems of launching the game is capable of producing an immersive and unique experience like no other game produced so far, with time and due corrections Cyber​punk 2077 will become one of best games of the last generation of console.

    It also needs updating and especially that the keyboard shortcuts are free ... xD But after that it is a very good games. It has a good and dynamic history. The lifespan is more than good in a straight line and I think with all the side quests probably 100+ hours easy.     I'm fortunate enough to own a PS4pro and PS5 so I haven't experienced the games glitches as such, therefore my experience with this game is awesome. Its one of the best games I've played this year, only thing now is life gets in the way of any gaming marathons beyond 2hrs.....

    Yes there r alotbof bugs but the hate is game is getting is wrong. We games know bad games and this game is not tht.. my true score is 8 but since this game is getting unfair reviews I gave it a 10. And there is no reason for this game to get below a 5.

    Genuinely one of the most fun single player games i've had the pleasure of playing in a long time. i find myself doing mostly side quests, just because i don't want the game to end any time soon. With every finished side quest, 2 or 3 more take its place. graphical glitches are minor and really not much to complain about. only 3 game crashes in 17 hours of playtime, and the problem wasGenuinely one of the most fun single player games i've had the pleasure of playing in a long time. i find myself doing mostly side quests, just because i don't want the game to end any time soon.     PC version is soo SWEET! I didn't see even 1 game breaking bug , which all this *1* talking about.

    This is awesome world and great story where you can do almost everything you desire.
    But still we need more content in future , such as NG+.

    The most important thing is that the developers have apologized and in 10 days have already made two patches that dramatically bring the game out of the mire into the normal state. They care about the players and that is worthy of respect.

    If you look past the launch day bugs, this game looks and feels better than any of the trash released by R* and Ubisoft lately. Runs flawlessly on my PS4. Buy it now!

    Super open world, great stories, I have no trouble on My PS4. Few months ago, I was playing fallout, and it had more bugs and problem after a few years and many updates. I just enjoy the game, and don't see a problem.

    This is a giant of a game. The story is second to none, the graphics at times steal you away from your mission just to stop and look at the world, gameplay is fun, and the side quests are filled with so many hidden gems and easter eggs.

    I am constantly torn from wanting to see how the main story progresses to wanting to do all the side quests. The main quest gives you a fantastic story, but the side quests give you a looking glass into the world. They are just the best, some have you laughing, some that are best descried as “f**k yeah!”, and some are extremely dark and heavy leaving you just mind blown or punched in the gut. The game does not sugar coat some themes, but it gives an immersive view of the fictional world and the people in it which makes you feel something for what is going on in front of you.

    Combat is great giving you a variety of mechanics where you can cyber hack enemies incapacitating them or to distract while sneaking up to or past them, snipe them off one by one even through walls, pop a pin from a grenade and go full body demolition or leap through the air slicing limbs off.

    Driving around feels a lot like GTA, I do not care for it too much as first person is not as easy as 3rd person to navigate and 3rd person kind of breaks the immersion. However, it provides a way to get around the large map before you can fast travel. I wish there were an Uber option where you can take in the sights of Night City as a passenger.

    Skills in this game are a little disappointing. They only make you a little better, stronger, smarter etc but do not really give you anything new to do. I guess some of this comes with implants which you buy. In this game it makes perfect sense to do it that way but it still feels a bit off.

    As for the bugs, there are quite a few but most of them are either not that big of a deal or are down right amusing. I sometimes enjoy some of the glitches for a laugh, they haven't gotten in the way or blocked progressing a quest nor have they ruined the game for me. Quite often if something seems to misbehave, I find a quick save and reload seems to fix it.

    I give this game a 10/10 as I am really enjoying it a lot. If you are on an old console or prefer to play a more polished game, it may be best to wait. It would be a shame to miss it however as it is probably one of the best games of 2020.    … Expand

    Excellent game, night city will make you feel amazing. I'm playing on PS4 and I find most of the reviews about technical condition really unfair as the game works well for me. Good job CDPR and I hope more players will see it.

The setting is Night City—a bright babel of steel and smog, located on the verge of the Pacific, under the rays of a scalding sun. We are a long way from the fertile hills and forests of The Witcher, the series that made CD Projekt Red into what the citizens of Night City might call a megacorp. And yet, even here, amid the metalheads and the netpigs and the ICE, the spell remains the same.

    No other developer is as adept at adapting the work of writers—at wrangling the fully formed visions of the page and coding them into colour and form. If this counts as a lack of imagination (the studio has yet to conjure a fiction from scratch), it’s more than made up for by the airtight seal of its worlds. The source here is Cyberpunk (and its subsequent editions, Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk Red), the tabletop role-playing game written by Mike Pondsmith, whose lore is rich in lingo.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
