    Forget about the bugs, they can be fixed. But it's a disgrace to call this ugly GTA 3 rip-off an RPG. You can't even bring down the people if they are somehow important. You shoot them and they simply don't die. You can't even shoot a fixer. You can't play the bad guy.

    The only thing you can do is to do what your fixer says as a soulless soldier.

    Shame on you Projekt Red.

    I barely write reviews. But after playing this game for 5 hours on base PS4 (patch 1.02 and 1.04) - I had to write this.

    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME (right now)! It is basically unplayable on base ps4. I am lucky enough to have played this on a high-end PC for about an hour as well and it is literally another game. This game COULD be incredibly good. Honestly, this could be one of the best    I barely write reviews.     Cyberpunk should never of been released in this state and CD Project Red should be held to account for this.     Not much to add really. The game speaks for itself. One of the worst optimized games of all time hidden behind marketing lies and fake gameplay footage. Games like TLOU2, GOT and RDR2 showed how powerful the PS4 can still be so there is no excuse for a game running this badly.

    Unplayable. Crashes, low FPS, bad textures, and a blurry mess couldn't play for more than 20 minutes without forcing my eyes or my head hurting. I still cannot believe, they released the game this way. Hope amazon lets me return this game because I'm very disappointed.

What can't be fixed is the core issues with the game. All the marketing leading up to release said "you can become any V you want to be". Well, it turns out the three prologues mean nothing. Corporate stooge or nomad you always get railroaded to the same 6 month time skip cutscene and your V is always the same streetwise edgelord no matter what, even if you wanted to be a well-educated corporate stooge on the run he still acts like he was born and raised on the streets. There's no classes to pick from, stats mean very little (I think it's impossible to have a "bad build" or one that won't work). Frankly, this was sold as an RPG but it has even less depth than Fallout 4. In Fallout 4 you had Yes, Yes (sarcastic), Maybe, No. In this, almost every choice is Yes, or (Corpo) Yes where the character adds in some anti-capitalistic rant while agreeing. Not much choice. The world seems impressive at first glance but it quickly falls apart when you realise all the NPCS are mindless drones walking straight ahead. Nobody to interact with outside of a handful of key NPCS, nothing interesting happens, no spontaneous moments like V NPCS arguing or having a meal together. Shame!!… Expand

    But even after patches it's barely playable with resolution so low I could not read texts on signs, advertisements etc, fps and input lag so bad that my teeth crunched and game menus are a chore to use. Some character models are of ps2 era util SECONDS after loading kicks in. And that before all the quest bugs and glitches, I did not encounter them, but that because I just could not bring myself to play enough to see them.

    And it's not like it was made for nextgen and then downgraded to PS4. No, the whole production cycle PS4 was current gen, game was to be released way before nextgen consoles was announced. And it's not like we didn't see GTA5 and RDR2 on current gen to say "well, this game is just on another level".

    PS4 version is a fraud, and they knew this. Thats the reason nobody have seen this version before it was on shelfs.    … Expand

    Incredible game. Runs just fine on my ps4 slim from 3 years ago. Games are not about graphics but about gameplay and stories. I can spend hours on this game and forget about real life. I will play it again on ps5 choosing nomad and corpo. If you care about frames per second and stuff like that just wait and buy it in a few months when the patches will fix it or play it on next gen consoles

    After near 10 hours of playing on Ps4 pro my eyes got hurt! Blur, shimmer, hiccup,blur, shimmer, hiccup. My god such awful image quality! Worst purchase of my life. I wish I had bought Sackboy or Crash 4 instead of this ugly alpha.

    The state of this game in PS4 is beyond unacceptable. It is unplayable, low fps, textures that takes ages to load, an empty city with almost no npc. Talking about npcs.. they appear and disappear randomly, and the game crashed for me 3 times in one hour. Just refund this garbage.

    Tak nie powinna wyglądać ani zachowywać się gra, która była rzekomo w produkcji od 2012. Gra absolutnie nie jest warta swojej ceny. Bardzo chciałbym żeby było inaczej jednak w rzeczywistości twórcy 8 lat produkcji i wielomilionowy budżet wykorzystali na reklamy.

    I very much regret that I pre ordered this game. The resolution and the textures are bad. 480p bad .     Worst game of all time. By big difference. My worst game before this was supermen 64 but even this is better then this complete disaster. For me this game not haves a single Positive thing never ever I will buy a game from this studio again. Hope this studio dies and never fools anyone again.     it's been almost a year and they haven't done anything at all. It's the same dead world that you can't interact with. The three stories of the character do not affect anything, the gangs are meaningless, the NPCs see themselves as if they are from the games of the 90s.

    You protect this company, believe in it and support it, and they continue to lie to you. Don't be surprised when another company releases a bad game. The reason for this will be you and your support for this lie.     Injugable, 7 años de desarrollo y 3 retrasos para vender esto, no se que habrán estado haciendo durante ese tiempo, pero mejorar el juego está claro que no. Eso sin contar con la publicidad engañosa y la gran estada que es este juego en versión de consola, ni un juego más os compro CDProjekt.

    This is the first time I’ve ever gave a game a 0, but I feel I can’t give it anything else as when I tried it on my PS4 when it came out it just didn’t work, so I took it back and got refunded, I have a next gen consoles now and I will buy it for the ps5 or x box series x when it comes out, might be a very good game when it works who knows??

    The game is definitely broken on ps4. It's technically messy, glitchy and full of bugs, making it ultimately unplayable. What makes it worse it's that this game has been delayed for years. Its conditions at launch are a shame, and an insult to the players

    I admit I haven't played this game and don't intend to, thanks to a myriad of technical issues (low frame rate, awful image quality, bugs, hitches, pop in, crashes) on last-gen consoles (more so on PS4/Xbox One than PS4 Pro/Xbox One X) as reported by several websites and tech specialists such as Digital Foundry. I don't intend to play this game on PC either because I don't have an RTXI admit I haven't played this game and don't intend to, thanks to a myriad of technical issues (low frame rate, awful image quality, bugs, hitches, pop in, crashes) on last-gen consoles (more so on PS4/Xbox One than PS4 Pro/Xbox One X) as reported by several websites and tech specialists such as Digital Foundry. I don't intend to play this game on PC either because I don't have an RTX 3080, which seems to be the bare minimum recommended GPU actually rather than a GTX 780.

    CDPR openly admit they launched a botched game and actively tried to deceive fans by not showing any real console footage in advance, instead focusing on showcasing the maxed out experience of the PC version in order to "wow" the audience and secure more pre-orders. In other words, they admit they scammed people as much as possible. Due to the growing backlash and PR disaster they offer refunds but also ask people to not refund the game too much as if they were a small indie studio lacking money such as Hello Games (they launched a similarly botched game with No Man's Sky back in 2016, but cash-strapped as they were they kept working on it and have released several patches and DLCs for free to this day, they deserve to be recognised for their effort to repair their game and heal their tarnished reputation). Pure hypocrisy by CDPR.

    If such a fan-favorite company like CDPR pulls this scam, then what should we expect from companies with questionable ethics such as EA, Activision, Take Two and Ubisoft?

The graphic is horrible and it ran like crab on a PS4 the resolution is dynamic 720p and the frame rate can drop down to 10 FPS!     У меня вопрос, господа разработчики: Зачем вы выпустили эту поделку на рынок? Зачем были громкие речи про прорыв на Current gen? Я верю в проработку ролевой составляющей, но техническое исполнение — это худшее, что я когда-либо видел за всё время существования PS4. И я никак не могу насладиться ролевой и геймплейной составляющей как минимум просто потому, что мой персонаж не слушается управления и игра вылетает слишком часто, а выглядит как поделка на раннюю PS3.

    Надеюсь и жду, что терабайты патчей исправят ситуацию и у меня всё таки получится поиграть в игру на PS4. А пока - вполне справедливая оценка в общий рейтинг.

    Патч 1.04 вышел,но позорная проблема с тормозящей стартовой заставкой и люфтящим управлением до сих пор не исправлена.

    I paid $60 for a game full of problems ... With the many delays for Cyberpunk 2077, I was expecting a title with minimal bugs and reduced frame rates, not this junk that is unplayable...! I suggest you do not buy the game until the problems are solved

    I was the fan of the CD Project games for along time ( from witcher 1 to masterpiece witcher 3) I love this company for the passion that they attended to their games. In addition of that the game freezing time to time and beyond all of this thing my game crash multiple time. the game is broken now but maybe the upcoming patches solve most of problems ( like witcher 3) but at current state I'm not advice to buy this game at all.… Expand

    I tried my best to like this game, it's just so buggy, the selection curser would move around randomly with touching the controller, the button actions are not responsive, trying to pick up things is tedious having to hit the square button 5 times just to pick up one item, the amount of dialogue is just to much I'm sorry but this game is horrble.

    Huge disappointment. Even on a PS5 this game is a technical mess. CDPR lost all my trust and I will never pre order a game from them again. Not even The Witcher 4 when it is released.

Didn't expect such a scam trick like this from a highly-praised developer like CDPR. This whole marketing was fake, as they state that Cyberpunk runs "surprisingly fine" on base consoles.

Framerate drops to record breaking lows when either driving or fighting, which are kind of key concepts in the game, making it impossible to hit an enemy, steer your vehicle or take in what goes on in your surrounding. Read a comic book if you want improved framerates. Graphics is understandablyUnfortunately it is completely unplayable on a PS4 (original) due to the console's limitations.     I hope to try it on a different console/pc to see if there is potential beneath it all, but on a PS4 you need to avoid it.

    Marketing for the game was great. The hype was there and even the intro came of as strong if you could forgive the graphics not being what you saw in the videos. But it ought to be fraud to take money for something this broken. CDPR is helping you with refunds and I think you should all take that chance and try again on a later console and version. It is going to be a hassle but please endure. If greed had not forced it to release on these consoles and instead had focused on next-gen, we wouldn't be in this mess..    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
