    Where is Sony's quality control? It's a catastrophe. It shouldn't be allowed to be released in the current state because now it looks like CDPR make a joke on PS4 players, especially on those who were waiting so long with the hope to finally get the ultimate cyberpunk game. Don't buy it if you didn't yet. Bugs (including those which make progress in-game impossible), crashes issues, andWhere is Sony's quality control? It's a catastrophe.     It's my biggest disappointment ever in a matter of games. I was waiting for a proper CP game my entire life. I kept hope in CDPR but not anymore. I can stand issues, bugs. Every new game has them. But THIS? I can't believe that it's not removed from the PS4 store yet.
    Currently, it looks like early Alpha so hopes for fixes even in one year are very low. Probably the PS4 version will never be in a playable state because PS5 will be the main console when it could eventually happen. Wasted $50.    … Expand

    Basicamente el juego que más he esperado en los últimos 3 años.
    Es increíble lo mal que corre, me ha crasheado más de 5 veces y llevo solo 1 hora de juego.
    Suerte tuvieron y fueron bien pilas en lanzar el juego junto a PS5, imaginate si solo hubiese salido en PS4 y XBOX ONE, la compañía se acaba.

    Que decepción y que timo.

    Buggiest game I've played in a while, and it literally looks like an Atari game. I refunded it within 2 hours, definitely wasn't even close to ready to be launched when it was.

    Bought it on Day 1 on base PS4. You might ask why i did it? Well it's because I trusted CD Project, i trusted them when they multiple times told that the game runs surprisingly well on base platforms, i guess you know where that went. Yes, the game never could have runned on base platforms as well as on next gen consoles and PC, but what we got was nothing but insulting, the game isBought it on Day 1 on base PS4. You might ask why i did it? Well it's because I trusted CD Project, i trusted them when they multiple times told that the game runs surprisingly well on base platforms, i guess you know where that went. Yes, the game never could have runned on base platforms as well as on next gen consoles and PC, but what we got was nothing but insulting, the game is unplayable, even after 1.1 patch, nor i expect that 1.2 patch will do much. For now I only could go through 3 hours of this mess and i shall not subject myself to it any more. If patch 1.2 will actually make this playable i will update this review with a new score, but for now you get what you deserve. Shame on you CD Red.
    Edit: It's april 23th, patch 1.21 has been released. Current state of the game - unplayble, literally, the state of the game is still pathetic, those patches did nothing for current gen console. Don't buy this game, even if its sold for 30$, it's not even worth getting for free.    … Expand

    Even after 2 patches constant blue screens of death, major tearing and pop outs, max fps less than 20. It feels like they totally forgot about this generation, you know the one they originally said they were building this game for.

    This game is just unplayable on the base PS4, crashes every minute or so. Framerate drops to 15fps, textures takes 20seconds to load. CDPR should have delayed the console version. This is just unacceptable.

    Clearly, not a game made for PS4 (basic), I played a few hours and I can not anymore. I have the feeling to play the first tomb raider game where everything was a polygon. Even GTA V or Horizon Zero Dawn has better graphics than this game released in 2020...

    Don't buy and don't play this game on PS4, it will be a bad experience.

    The only thing to do: to wait for the real release on PS5!

    Right now, the game is basically unplayable. Not just because the graphics are blurry and just atrocious. But also because the game freezes, lags and crashes frequently. There are bugs and glitches everywhere, and while I normally find those hilarious, these are often game breaking. I know there will be patches, but let's be honest, nothing bar a full rework of this game will save it on console. And I don't see CDPR putting in an investment like that.     I have been waiting for this game too many years and I was very hyped... but Cyberpunk 2077 is unplayable on Xbox One and PS4. Any game released 10 years ago looks better than this game, there are a lot of bugs, fps drops, extreme popping... Honestly, don´t buy this game. The disappointment of the generation unndoubtedly.

    I pre-ordered this game in June 2019. I loved Witcher 3. This was probably my most anticipated title of the last 5 years. And I was astounded at how bad it was. Not since Skyrim on the PS3 have I encountered a game this broken that actually made it on to store shelves. Returned the game after 5 hours of playtime. The game was stuttering in the intro before I even pushed start. II pre-ordered this game in June 2019. I loved Witcher 3. This was probably my most anticipated title of the last 5 years. And I was astounded at how bad it was. Not since Skyrim on the PS3 have I encountered a game this broken that actually made it on to store shelves. Returned the game after 5 hours of playtime. The game was stuttering in the intro before I even pushed start. I could barely see anything in the tutorial (no amount of gamma adjustment fixed it). Every NPC, Enemy, Hackable, and loot pickup was a blurry mess until you got about 2 feet and even then some things wouldn't clear up. And then when you finally get to the actual game world? Sweet mother of mercy. Anything that isn't scripted almost always breaks. The AI in top down sprite based RPGs from the Super Nintendo era was more intuitive. The crashes start soon after you get into Night City proper.
    Its bad. Its really really bad.

    I fully recognize that this game was going to perform better on PC vs last gen consoles. But there is no excuse for what happened here when you have open world titles like Horizon, Spider-Man, and RDR2 that look and play very well on the PS4. There is a gulf of difference between a performance downgrade and this disaster. This developer (CDPR) and publisher (WB) have squatted and delivered the fecal icing on the 2020 cake.     Uma das piores experiências que tive em um console. Jogo totalmente incompleto, lotado de bugs, quedas de FPS, falta de renderização em todo o cenário, cidade vazia e crashando o PS4.
    Não vale o investimento, se possível peça reembolso ou não compre.
    Tivemos Res Dead Redemption nesta geração, falar que este console não rode algo minimamente aceito é balela.

    Horrible frame rate in low teens, 720p resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

I’ve experienced multiple glitches including textures not rendering, object pop-in, characters moving through doors, walls and floor, audio glitches, graphics errors that stay frozen in the middle of my screen, floating objects, AI enemy freezing, etc. I’m playing on a PS5 with all current updates andThey rushed to sell an unfinished game before Christmas to make that sweet holiday cash.     Vergonhoso! Sentaram em cima do sucesso de The Witcher para enganar o consumidor. Não quiseram dar cópias das versões de console para os streamers pq já sabiam que atrapalharia as vendas, depois que todos vissem a porcaria que ta o jogo, para os consoles base. Injogável! 720p a 10 fps, e cheio de bugs, por 250 Reais. Nota ZERO!

    Wanted to give 7/10 after 1.03 patch, score declined to 5/10 after I have finished the game as i can confirm AI is the worst I have ever seen in my long gaming experience. The story is ok, the side missions are very uninspiring. I am giving 0/10 after patch 1.1 as it broke the game and you can not use weapon any more (you can't aim).

    A maior decepção últimos tempos. Um jogo onde a imersão deveria ser absurda não renderiza um palmo na sua frente, não da pra sentir a vida da cidade se ela é feita de papelão. Eu vou dizer isso com uma tristeza genuína mas Cyberpunk é o pior jogo que eu joguei em 2020, ou pelo menos a pior experiência que eu tive, espero voltar daqui a algum tempo e jogar um jogão que eu sei que dava praA maior decepção últimos tempos.     Broken, unfortunately. Which is the only time a game ACTUALLY deserves a zero.

    Hiding the console version from reviewers was a scummy move by the developer. Keeping in mind that the last-gen version is the ONLY console version that they have released so far, they haven't even released the PS5/SeriesX version yet. But it's a disaster on the PS4 consoles that they released it specifically for.

    The thing is, I'm one of those people who isn't bothered by bugs or glitches that much. This mess that you delivered to us is unbearable dude. Pretty huge disappointment.

    Horribly optimised game with horrendous frame rate issues, freezing and crashing issues. Unplayable and should be avoided. Gun controls are absolutely trash as well! I sold this game and it's the best decision I have made.

    If you're going to release your AAA game and it can't run on the base consoles...don't release it on base consoles. This is a mess. If all you have is a PS4, watch a Youtube walkthrough because it'll be a better experience. It runs better on PS5, a lot better but it might be worth it to wait until an official PS5 patch that updates it to the fidelity that it needs.     Unplayable on PS4. Preordered this game as soon as it became available on PSN. Low resolution, dropping frames, bugs, low-quality textures, etc... I hope they'll fix it fast so I can enjoy the game and change my rating.

    Only explanation i can come up with is that CDPR spent 90% of the budget on Keanu Reeves and marketing while spending 10% on actual development. Wasn't this game intended for consoles in the first place? Why did they even release this port if it was going to be such a terrible experience?
    The sad part is, CDPR's insufferable fanbase will still defend this disaster. They should be sued for deceptive advertising.    … Expand

The whole game looks a bit fuzzy and somehow unfocused, if you look at it next to say, Ghost Of Tsushima, there's no comparison. GOT looks vibrant and sharp, CP2077 looks almost blurry. Bugs wise, as you well know, there are MANY! and in all aspects and areas of the game. the main ones i've noticed recurring have been: parked vehicles whose wheels disappear into the floor, almost all NPCS are glitchy and move very strangely, they also are almost entirely pointless. they do very little and say very little and almost seem like set dressing. which completely ruins the immersion of being in crowded city. I've had the camera frozen whilst driving, making it impossible to leave first person view (first person driving is terrible by the way) required restarting the game. Missions i was unable to complete because a door would glitch and not open, trapping me in a building with no other exit (again, requiring a quit and restart) generally buggy characters and vehicles and some truly awful pop in and texture problem. Overall, as much as i hate to say it, This game should not have been released yet, and should probably never have been promised to the PS4/XBOX one generation. I'm not going to go into the RPG elements and general gameplay as you've probably already had your fill of all those details, and as an RPG is has all the mechanics you'd expect and they function on the whole as they should. But the overall look and performance of the game is just not at all what it should be and it's this that ruins any good points about the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is unfortunately just not very good at all and performance wise, is in a very poor state indeed.

    in your first trailer, you wrote that the game will come out when it's ready. you started an active PR campaign and sold a non-playable game. There is no more trust in you.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
