Nov 12, 2020Cobra Kai is an entertaining beat ‘em up, colorful and faithful to the original, and also incredibly rewarding in co-op. It does, however, suffer from some annoying technical issues.
-
Nov 1, 2020Cobra Kai doesn’t do anything new, but there is a lot of fun to be had here, particularly in co-op.

Nov 18, 2020In sum, Cobra Kai: The Saga Continues is a better game than you would expect, with a lot more gameplay elements than just about any brawler I have ever played. While most of these elements are done well, there are a few glaring, persistent flaws that temper the experience dramatically. Still, for fans of the TV show or for brawler aficionados, it’s worth checking out.

Dec 20, 2020It is difficult to objectively rate this Cobra-Kai in an industry where this type of game has completely disappeared from the shelves. The idea of honoring the series in a beat'em up tribute to the 80s was good; unfortunately, the developers did not take advantage of the many generations that followed to bring the wind of freshness and novelty necessary to the quality of the title. We end up with a game that could very well have been released many years ago despite some undeniable qualities that provide a certain playing pleasure. For this result, it is difficult to want to spend forty euros on it. Cobra Kai remains a far from unpleasant vent that might suit fans of the genre or series. It's up to you to see if you want to pay the price.

Nov 5, 2020If you love the show, you will have a good time with Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues. It is not the best brawler of the decade, but it does is a decent game to fight and upgrade your characters.

Nov 2, 2020It’s oh so close to achieving high marks from a gameplay perspective, but it’s also hurt greatly by a lack of polish that makes it a hard product to recommend at launch. In time, there’s a chance we’ll see some improvements that tighten up some of its loose ends and while that’d be unlikely to fix every issue the game has, it may result in it being a more complete experience. As it stands, it feels like a half-baked product that succeeds in spite of its shortcomings, but still needs more work to be a must-buy pickup for either fans of the show or brawler fanatics alike.
