I was not surprised.....this game is a rubbish cheap cash grab!
Graphics are ok I suppose but that's about it for the good stuff.
It's a very poorly done streets of rage/ final fight clone. If they stuck with martial arts it could have been passable but it has stupid ice moves and flaming eagles like something out of Mortal Kombat! Don't buy this game, the show deserves more than this

It's a pretty solid game, filled with a lot of Karate Kid and Cobra Kai references, decent enough beat em up gameplay, an almost addicting skill tree and challenge upgrading system, and it's probably at it's most enjoyable playing with a second player. I'm a fan of the show so there might be some bias here - but I game a lot and I was not able to put the game down for maybe 4 hours upon first boot. Things to like are the levelling system, the skills and moves, and the gameplay. It plays like double dragon more than streets of rage in my opinion. The only gripe I have is it's hard to do holds and throws, though primarily it doesn't matter as the combat is striking more than grappling. The graphics, art style and some enemy characters will come across as campy and almost satirical, but fans of the movie will get this, "so bad it's good" kind of thing. Expand

I was waiting since Streets of rage 4 to play a brawler like i was a child, but in my opinion this game is the real new King of scrolling beat'em'up. So fun, varius and great re-playable value, a real surprise.

Man, this game is a poorly made, buggy, piece of crap. So it is the best possible game for Cobra Kai. You will not regret purchasing this on steam, it is a blast, especially the local co-op. Decent beat em' up reminiscent to Double Dragon. Total of 8 fighters to choose from, 4 from Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do respectively.

Cobra Kai is focused on brute strength fire attacks, while Miyagi Do excels in parry defence and Ice attacks. I find them both pretty balanced enough. Missed opportunity of Co Op limiting to only 2 player couch rather than 4 player online reminiscent to

Real actor voices to most of the fighters is refreshing. The enemies you fight is a bit out there ranging from Hipsters, Hippies, Karen Moms, Emos and Car salesmen.

    + fast paced combat
    + Real voice actors
+ Interesting Skill Tree and Objective lists

    - Lack of online Co Op or VS modes
    - Combat area bit to small. Sometimes the enemies are off screen and you have to kite them to the middle of the screen so you can hit them

This game is a rushed beat-em-up that loks like **** and some of the worst voice acting ever. The levels might have cool backgrounds but in the end, are very bland. There is still fun to be had though. Even though this game is Cobra Kai I don't really think that playing the game. It is just a subpar game that is worth $20. Overall, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues hits home with me and I am sure it will hit home with the other lovers of the Karate Kid universe. The show on Netflix has been amazing and this game is amazing as well. The music and mechanics are great and give you a real feel for the 80’s nostalgia trip.

It is difficult to objectively rate this Cobra-Kai in an industry where this type of game has completely disappeared from the shelves. The idea of honoring the series in a beat'em up tribute to the 80s was good; unfortunately, the developers did not take advantage of the many generations that followed to bring the wind of freshness and novelty necessary to the quality of the title. We end up with a game that could very well have been released many years ago despite some undeniable qualities that provide a certain playing pleasure. For this result, it is difficult to want to spend forty euros on it. Cobra Kai remains a far from unpleasant vent that might suit fans of the genre or series. It's up to you to see if you want to pay the price.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga is a very nostalgic game, but not in the way you might think. It's not that it's a beat 'em up, nor that it's based on an ageing franchise, or even because it looks like it should be able to run on a Sega Saturn. No, it's nostalgic because this a licensed video game that is fairly terrible, using its branding as a smokescreen to hide a multitude of problems from an unwitting buyer until it's far too late. It's just like the good old days. If this was 1991 then Cobra Kai would have been published by Ocean Software.
