Oct 13, 2020Only worth buying for the Symphony which is terrific. Rondo of blood is a very cheap and frustrating game with some very questionable design choices.

Oct 30, 2018This is not the PlayStation version you remember. This is a port of the PSP version. The voice acting and dialogue has been changed in small but impactful ways. If you want to hear Dracula’s cheesy opening speech, you’re out of luck. No “What is a man...” speech here.
Still a great game. But was hoping for the original PlayStation version, but this will do I suppose. -

Dec 31, 2018As much as I love both games, it comes of as being very lazy port. Pixelated illustrations, awful looking menus and lack of any add-ons makes it pretty poor adaptation which does both great games no justice.

Oct 26, 2018This is a no bells and whistles port of rondo of blood and sotn these games are great and it’s only $20
It does not have the original English voice work but that’s a small detail and you can get the Xbox bc sotn if you really wanna hear those lines. The games are fun the packaging is shoddy -
Dec 23, 2021symphony of the night doesnt contain the original psx voices and dialogs. the game is based on the awful psp version.

Mar 16, 2023A nice compilation of two essential Castlevania titles. Unfortunately, both games are ports of the PSP versions. Still, they hold up quite well and the upscaled HD graphics look great. Sadly, no extra content or behind-the-scene extras were included. But there are a few cool display options. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10.

Oct 30, 2018This collection bundle two of the best castlevania games. If you never played symphony of the night or rondo of blood, then castlevania requiem is for you.
-
Jun 22, 2022Perhaps two of the greatest games of all time in one bundle you youngsters don’t know anything about this .. . Games today can’t compete Castlevania symphony of the night is simply hands down one of the greatest games of all time

Jul 23, 2020I liked Symphony of the Night because of its RPG and level up system. That always keeps me coming back for more. The Rondo of Blood is more traditional. It’s cool but Symphony makes this collection worth it alone for sure. Check it out. Hours of fun, exploration and leveling up the way Castlevania knows how!

Nov 14, 2022Symphony of the Night sigue siendo la obra maestra histórica que fue en su día y Rondo of Blood... bien, pero joder, no me lo puedo acabar ni a tiros.

Nov 29, 2018Castlevania Requiem combines two of the best games in the Castlevania series. However, it does just that. The bare-bones presentation and weird mistakes keep this from becoming a must own collection.
-
Nov 20, 2018For die-hard fans of the series, there is nothing new to be found here, but for those who never had a chance to get their hands on any of the Castlevania titles, this collection would be a perfect start to enter the Castlevania world.

Nov 12, 2018Castlevania Requiem is a decent port of two classic, beloved games. At $20, PS4 players are getting a lot of value for their money. Both games have a lot of content with optional levels & a secret playable character in Rondo of Blood and a massive, open-ended map in Symphony of the Night. Castlevania fans wouldn’t be making a mistake by purchasing this collection.
