    The single player campaign had a fairly interesting story mode. Graphics are amazing. They once again (in my opinion) regressed in the multiplayer. I view Call of Duty as a multiplayer games. Since that's why I buy them. So, that's why my score is so low. Campaign couldn't save it.

    Да и игра объективно не плоха потому как и графика в ней наконец то на уровне и стрелять РЕАЛЬНО приятно в кое то веке!
    Она заслуживает своей 7ки возможно 5ки, если вы ОЧЕНЬ ОБИДЕЛИСЬ за всратую компанию, но никак не меньше!
    Если бы не было набега "патриотов" я бы поставила 6 или 7, а так поставлю 10 чтобы скомпенсировать хоть один 0 от "возмущенного русофобией набегателя"

On PS4 I’ve spent a whole day trying to just install it and errors upon errors whereas I have amazing internet connection and no issues like this with any other game. Fortunately I was able to download the campaign. I didn’t want to try installing multiplayer because last timeI didn’t play the game and gave it a 0. That’s right because you CANNOT play the game. No dialogue audio AT ALL. except some very very low sound in some parts of a dialogue line. It’s literally unplayable that way. I wanted the game to be a fun experience and not hearing Gaz or Captain Price speak doesn’t make it fun in any way. I searched and searched for a way to fix this but no solutions for PS4 users. I tried all sorts of settings to get audio to work to no avail.… Expand

    I have not played a COD game since Black Ops 2, so this actually felt pretty fresh to me. The campaign had a really nice production and I really admired all the performances, though some missions were definitely way more fun than others. I really loved her story and the levels involving her or playing as her were really the only ones I felt emotionally invested in. The tone is definitely aiming for this moral grey area which I think succeeds at times, but also occasionally muddles the story and makes things harder to follow. The gunplay was pretty fun overall though, albeit way too loud and not enough music. But I understand that it was to back the more realistic approach they were going for.

    The multiplayer is really fun, maybe because I haven't played COD multiplayer in a really long time. The biggest standout is being able to mount your gun, which was really suitable for my playstyle. Weapon customization was also amazing. My only problem is a BIG problem. I don't like most of the maps. At least in the baseline game. They definitely improved overtime with the newer maps and even bringing back old ones, but some of these maps had really jumbled layouts and just encouraged camping. I feel like for a lot of them, the combat is always congested in one spot for the entire game instead of spreading out. It usually results in me having an amazing game or a really bad one, with no middle ground.

    I overall had a lot of fun with this game and it restored a lot of interest in this franchise for me. I'm definitely taking each next entry with a grain of salt, but I'll definitely be picking up Cold War because the first Black Ops is still my favorite entry.    … Expand

Из односложных реплик, которыми перебрасываются персонажи в заставках, понять, какие у кого мотивы, можно лишь очень приблизительно. Да этого и не требуется. Разработчики будто сами смеются над фабулой, помещая на экран загрузки высказывания великих людей о войне вперемешку с дурацкими фразами персонажей игры.

    Помимо очень условного сюжета у игры есть гораздо более серьёзные проблемы, делающие её далеко не лучшей в серии. Во-первых, она, несмотря на красоту графики, не зрелищна: в оригинальной трилогии Modern Warfare мы от первого лица наблюдали собственную казнь от руки диктатора, присутствовали в эпицентре ядерного взрыва, испытывали разгерметизацию на борту космической станции... Здесь же запомнилась разве что миссия за детей в осажденном ближневосточном городе и спасение заложника посредством координирования с помощью телефона и камер наблюдения. О том, что приближается развязка, я узнал только по тихо звучащей на фоне музыке - другими средствами никакого особенного пафоса под конец не нагнеталось.

Лучшие из предыдущих частей Call of Duty были бодрыми забегами по узкому "коридору", через который я с автоматом наперевес несся сломя голову, чувствуя себя крутым морпехом. Здесь же зачем-то на некоторых картах мне дана свобода передвижения, влекущая путаницу, неразбериху и частые смерти. Более того, игра, видимо, заботясь о моих нервах, сохраняется буквально каждые полминуты, и иногда делает это в крайне неудачных местах - под носом у врага, ставя меня в безвыходное положение.     Absolutely horrible online! The new story is cool and has some great new mechanics, however what started as a nice "season 0" quickly developed into a terrible excuse for an online shooter. They spent way too much time adding purchasable crap, instead of improving core elements like matchmaking and spawning. Not to even mention it's taking up 250GB on my hard-drive for no reason!

But this time the programme is filled with pop ups and advertisements trying to convince you to spend more money. In fact it is without doubt the worst game I've ever played for that. It constantly hints at you to spend more. The warzone mode is a nice idea. Activision could have ensured the game was optimized for the console before releasing it. For example, like millions of others, my console forces a self shutdown whilst I wait at the menus, which are useless anyway, as skins fail to load in to view in the time between missions. So if you want to customize a class, you need to leave the lobby.… Expand

    The best cod in recent years, good campaign good multiplayer and a lot of content, the gameplay is amazing and the visuals for a cod game are delightful, but the spec ops needs some improvement, warzone is also amazing, and the campaign........why they made Russians look like monsters? Apart of tgar good

    The campain is cool, graphics feelings of the guns, There are a lot of positive things about this game but infinity ward has just been banning innocent players left and right, guns are always the same, no meta changes, and the support is literally non existant.

    This game has so much potential but it is sadly super wasted..

    I'd like to start of with the negatives before the positives and firstly want to target the story. Overall it was a good story but to reboot something is no longer a fashionable thing. Every franchise has been getting a reboot/restart since the early 2000's and it's kind of getting stale. I like how it has been made relevant to modern times and issues which could have just basically been a 4th game to the series with Price leading some new recruits or something but overall it's alright. I'm not racist nor do I care about the color of people but I don't see a point in making Gaz black. He was white in the first game and I think it's completely unnecessary to do that. Might as well make Ssgt. Griggs white right? Of course not. Anyways for the mulitplayer, I feel like there's no more good Call of Duty maps. The first 3 MW's maps as well as World at War and Black Ops 1 had these unique maps but now it's just regurgitations. I feel that the neglected child in this game was definitely the Co-Op mode. There were no players due to the immense difficulty throughout the missions as well as a more boring, static gameplay. To be honest all we need is Survival mode and maybe a co-op version of the campaign or even a side story that takes place throughout the main story line. For me Warzone was great and what sucks is the options for games. It's like every Call of Duty gets good when its 3/4ths it's cycle but by the time that happens, a new Call of Duty is announced and anything built up for it is gone. Take a look at EA's Battlefield series. Sure there's plenty of criticism and especially with how money hungry EA's upper echelon is, but there's definitely more to build on. What I like is that at least CoD isn't a pay to win kind of thing like Star Wars Battlefront 1 an 2. I don't mind microtransactions for cosmetics since they don't give an edge or anything. But Warzone is definitely my main go to now. I applaud them for making the Battle Royale feature a more stable yet fast paced game with a lot to do. My only complaint there is, is that there's only 1 map. I'd like for maybe 2 or 3 if that's not too much or at least a permanent night mode too so it feels like there's 2 maps. I'm gonna just assume that since my PS4 is sounding like a jet taking off everytime I start the game, it's because of the limits of the hardware. Hopefully in the next generation, we can have less loading times/quicker startups and more smooth games as we advance into the next generation of consoles.… Expand

    A very fun game marred by hideously large updates, broken updates and a greedy publisher that does not care about the quality of its game but instead adding more features/feature creep when the foundation is not stable.

    Its call of duty. It plays like every other call of duty game though the slight mechanical and engine changes are a nice touch to making the game feel slightly fresher. Rather than reiterating what cod is about here are some of the key points that are relevant to both the ps4 and pc version (But predominantly the pc). In addition I'll only be referring to multiplayer and warzone since despite having played hundreds of hours of this game I haven't touched the campaign yet.

    Pro's:
    - Rock solid framerate
    - Generally nice graphics (generally is key with weird ass ailiasing and the general shade of brown)
    - Satisfying gun play
    - Dope sound design with excellent telegraphing and punchy gunshots
    - A genuinely fun battle royale mode which is free to play with plenty of opportunities to jump back into the game rather than having to sit by idly (gulag is obviously a meme but it does make the game better)

    Cons:
    - Crashes a lot
    - Updates are broken. It is 19:15, I have been downloading the update since 12:30 and I still have 51.72gb to go. This is an unacceptable issue as its practically occured with every season update.
    - Unreasonable update sizes. Season 5 is 54gb for pc and 36gb for ps4. My friend who plays on ps4 has had to delete everything else off of her system just to play call of duty which is ridiculous.
    -If you don't buy into battle passes then your sense of reward for playing the game will diminish pretty fast.
    - Bugged challenges/objectives. i have attempted to progress a warzone intel challenge 18 times now yet the game doesn't even register that I've done it.
    - I WILL REITERATE AGAIN. SO MANY BUGS. UPDATES THE SIZE OF STANDALONE AAA GAMES, UPDATES YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD AND SO MANY CRASHES.

    I genuinely love playing this game and I say that as a person who despises activisions unethical activities as a company. But it's so marred by problems that make the experience not only unfun but insulting.

    Get your thumb out your rear activision and give your devs time to fix the fundemental problems of the game. Though that doesn't give you another giant pile of cash so you'd rather have them spewing out season passes instead.    … Expand

    This game is a master piece really it is first off one of the most fun game modes in the game is free! and the game also has free dlc map packs and the game is really fun to play with friends so 10/10 for me

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Worst Call of duty game in franchise history! I was never a fan of the recent call of duty games such as BO3 and 4. Or any of the futuristic looking jetpack wearing, running on walls, exosuit wearing games. So when I first heard the modern warfare franchise was coming back, I was beyond ecstatic...but then I played the game. There where so many bugs with it (that eventually got patched), but you can’t really expect anything else from a new game. Then month after month I witnessed the game getting worse and worse after each update. Now, almost 10 months in, the game is completely and utterly unplayable. Jump into a hardcore game and you get more hitmarkers than in warzone or Battlefield or even in Apex. And that’s the best part of the game that’s the f’ed up part. There are several instances where your shoot at somebody and the bullets just doesn’t connect even though when you record it or watch the killcam, you can see the bullets go through the enemy and hit the wall behind them. The ADS speed on pistols are RIDICULOUS. You can basically sprint and go into full on ADS, shoot, kill the guy, and back into tactical sprint within 0.000000001 second. And they can compete with snipers on long range as well as ARs and SMGs in mid range fights. Therefore the 1 % that is actually moving in this game are running around with pistols and there are no way to counter them 1v1. The maps are horrible and have been requested by the majority to be fixed, same with sounds and camping, but IW refuse to make the game playable. All in effort to cater to bad players. Which is where SBMM comes in to play. The way they solved SBMM is the second worst idea ever by developers. Right behind how they created Modern warfare 2019. It’s currently season 5 and for each patch, the game just gets worse and worse. I’ve gone back to older games just to make sure it wasn’t just my aim and tactics that had gotten worse, but when I constantly go WAY positive on older games where the game is balanced and have a good accuracy during more or less every game....then it’s not on me anymore. Then it’s just the game that needs to be fixed. If you still haven’t bought the game, but are considering buying it... go eat tide pods or something, because that’s way more fun than playing this game. It’s not meant for players to get better, rather it’s meant for people to sit still and remain trash and toxic. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy… Expand

    The Story is fine, but sadly it gets completely overshadowed by the multiplayer, which is a campers paradise. I am quite an old player in the CoD franchise and honestly this game is one of the worst i played, if not the worst. The game was profitable only because Warzone was released.

It currently is taking 120GB of space, and yet apparently doesn't have single player, local multiplayer, local coop, or network support downloaded. **** PlayStation for designing a system that requires massive patches, lazy devs for not figuring out a solution, and the designers for not allowing theI own the game.     The game play is absolutely shocking! Spawn killing is a major factor in this game! I play hardcore and unloading a clip into someone and still not die is almost guaranteed at least 10 times a game. There is no gunlow perk which is strange for a cod game. The maps are ok, but there is no lobby

Ou les Maps vraiment très moyenne ( heuresement qu'il ya shot house shipment hardat rust ) qui favorise beaucoup trop les campeurs.     My Modern Warfare Year 1 review is a little bit different from the original. This game has excellent gunplay, sound design, graphics, movement and ambience, but has ridiculous gameplay, now with all the cosmetics. 6v6 respawn is unplayable due to the maps, but all other gamemodes are enjoyable.     Can't even play the campaign 2022. After downloading hundreds of GBs and waiting days, I can't even play it.

    I remember the release, it was a good cod. But trying to play this 2022... Don't!

    If you play campy,slow and bad you'll get your campers, if you rush, learn advanced movement (slide canceling, bhoping etc)and get good aim you'll get fast lobbies with the occasional campers, overall feel very nice, top 5 cod easily

    The amount of attention to details is beyond breathtaking. Special shout out to the gun viewmodels team Khoa Le, Mark Grisby, Hyper & Jun Chang for the amazing work that they've put in. Everything from campaign to multiplayer, from ground wars to gunfight are just amazing. This is the glorious comeback for Infinity Ward!

    Great campaign, one of the best in the series, at least in recent games. Multiplayer is fun, and I would rate this game a 9 or 10 if it wasn't for the throwing knives. The throwing knives are MUCH MUCH too overpowered. You can literally get hit in the leg by one and it immediately kills you

    Russian propaganda smh. The campaign was pretty good except for the stupid propaganda. Campaign was pretty quick too, but still worth it.

    Multiplayer is decent and I like it. Graphics are nice, same with the gameplay. But I'm experiencing a lot of campers. Still it's pretty good.

    Spec Ops is just stupid, no one even plays it.

    I'm giving this an 8.

    The campaign is amazing but short, the gameplay for multiplayer is amazing. The sense of realism and detail really shines. Its 8/10 because infinity ward refuses to fix many bugs that plague this game although annoying, the game still holds its own 4 years later. Probably my favourite COD release ever.

    1. Anti-Russian propaganda. Yes, every MW game had this one. But it's never been that obvious like here. The only thing can be worse is 30 hours vid of screaming "RUSSIANS MUST DIE!".
    2. Multiplayer. Even though i could handle that nazi stuff in SP, i can't do same in MP. Is it Warface? Or Battlefield? Battleface? Warfield? It's a 155 GB clone of these 2 games. There is nothing of CoD left in there. Literally nothing. You can't see enemies as easily as before 'cause they look like textures. You can't kill them 'cause there is no stopping effect on hit. Now it's not action game that i like - where all you need is aim and reactions - now it's some crappy camping stuff. 'Cause you can't just rush everywhere due to campers those you can't spot.
    They f*cked up hardcore mode. No kill logs. No killstreaks alerts. Nothing. Do they think that people played HC 'cause they want it to be more realistic? No. We've played HC 'cause it makes game even faster with all those 1-shots.
    3. Dev error 6098, 6095 and etc. If you don't know what's it - you're lucky. 'Cause i and lots of people spent like 2-3 hrs to find solution of this crash problem. AAA game. 50$ cost. And it doesn't even launch because of DX11 problem.
    4. And the most irritating thing about this - Blizzard doesn't let me to refund. I've asked about it in about 3-4 hrs of playing and they refused. And i bought full version of it since i thought it'll be awesome. Activision promised us.
    So, to conclude: this is the 1st game of whole series that i do REALLY regret that i bought it. I want my money back.
    It'd be better if i bought cond*ms for 50$ and gifted to devs.

It's full of cliches about EVILSUKARUSSIANS and good brave American guys, just like stupid 80s agenda movies. No "gray morality". If you want an objective view of war, play Metal Gear Solid 4. Nothing else to say.

Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
