    The best of Call of duty series , it’s incredible amazing, the new look of the game and modern warfare franchise is awesome. They do big and good updates , also everything is for free.

    The campaign is pretty good, and in many ways feels like actual modern combat. No hit-markers, realistic recoil and ballistics, etc. The movement seems very sluggish and weighted at all times; sometimes it feels realistic, other times it feels like you're being unnecessarily constrained. There are no markers over enemies etc. which means that you need to pay attention to what you'reThe campaign is pretty good, and in many ways feels like actual modern combat.     But as usual, the COD franchise is stuck in the past with its "on rails" storytelling and gameplay, some of which can be at times fairly good. There are a few missions that really shine, and make you feel like you're really in a modern combat situation. However, the Hometown mission is one of the worst pieces of gaming I've ever played. If I had the choice between having to play that mission again, and never playing another game, it would be the end of my gaming career. It's indescribably awful, from the ridiculously unreal movement, to the set-piece style action, it's a failure on nearly every level. Points for the story, which did give me pause to consider the plight of those concerned. There are much better ways to get that point across though, and being taken out of the body of a modern day soldier and thrown into the perspective of a seven year old girl is not only incredibly frustrating, but also insulting. I don't need forced perspective to bottle-feed me morality, thanks. More importantly, I absolutely despise the "you can do it any way you want, as long as it's in this exact way" kind of gaming. Why not give players tools, and let them figure out how best to solve a specific problem? It makes for much more dynamic gameplay, which in turn almost necessarily means more fun. Dying endlessly until you figure out the ONE WAY the developers want you to complete an objective (while being given nearly no clues as to how it must specifically be done) makes for a terrible game. There are flashes of brilliance, but overall the campaign feels like you're a dog, and you're futilely straining your neck as someone tries to rub your nose in ****.    … Expand

    A very nasty feeling after this game. It is especially amazing how much the developer hates Russian people. In the future I have no desire to buy games from these developers. P.S. I urge people !!! return the money for this game back to the developers, it’s better to buy yourself something tasty, or go to some movie, take a walk with your family. Have a nice day.

    Modern warfare makes great strides in terms of the gun play and map design. Too bad there are so many bugs that the game is unplayable. This game launched with constant freezes (every 2 min for 10 sec) which makes playing extremely frustrating. Every other game, the game will crash. Challenges do not track, graphical glitches make it impossible to see your character and weapons.

    This is a great game when you can play but unfortunately, it's broken. I only was able to play it after 2 days after I bought it and after you could manage to launch the game starts the shaders installations that take almost 20 minutes. The fact that taking one step sounds like a horse stomping is absolutely ridiculous. You can hear people inside buildings 3 buildings over! Then on top that, all the weapons are an insta-kill.

Every single game mode plays the same and is plagued with awful map design. Literally nothing is done right, as someone who has sunk 4k+ hours into CS:GO, I know what a good map should play like. Weapon balance is terrible and only 1-2 guns are viable out of each class type. Weapon smith system is just a re skinned system and not in depth/endless like promised. Especially when only a select few attachments are actually good. Stun and flash grenades last WAY to long, even with using the perk to reduce effects. The tick-rate of the servers is so bad that I can start shooting an enemy first on my client and end up dying even we use the same weapon and I don't miss. Happens constantly and is enraging. I don't expect this game to keep getting updates for very long to fix the real problems, like all of the other call of duties. They most likely already have all the dlc created and are releasing it on a schedule as Activision does. Cross map noob tubes and grenades ruin pretty much every game yet it's still an integral part of these open maps with no sky boxes. Buy this game if you have low blood pressure and need to raise it, or if you're someone who likes annoying people by using unskilled 1-hit-kill methods since this game has so many of them. Not to mention the story tries to make you feel sympathy for Islamic terrorists, disgusting. Are you an American company or what? The only reason this game gets a 1 is because it doesn't have season pass bull crap. New games seem to get worse and worse, don't know why I even try buying anything from this over worked industry with harsh deadlines to push out unfinished and untested products.… Expand

    First of all, I am a big fan of the franchise. However, the story of this CoD was boring and uninspired. The gameplay is heavily scripted and no fun at all. There are not too many different weapons to use. Although you don't bear to much of responsibility in your Squad (that does basically everything and you are just following them), there are plenty of opportunities to die.     Map design is extremely poor and encourages camping over movement and flow. Fundamentally, the Call of Duty formula is outdated and unappealing.

    Multiplayer is broken. The respawn system is awful and will constantly spawn you right on top of killstreaks or right in front of enemy players. Map design is extremely poor, especially Piccadilly. Worst multiplayer FPS out right now.

    Game is unplayable without 30Gb instal AND A 61 ****ing GB PATCH. Absolutely trash as usual, Activision. Luckily it was just a bonus rental at redbox and didn't cost me anything.

Campaign tries to have too many main bad guys, so you don't really care about any of them as a result. Finished it in 1 sitting, so not very long. Multiplayer has by far the worst maps I've ever played in making it extremely easy to camp in. Completely eliminated running and gunning in favor of a much slower and much more boring play style. Footsteps are way too loud making it furthermore impossible to run and gun.… Expand

Queria um sem frescura de andar nas paredes e voar e não sendo guerras antigas. Não traz novidades grandes. Gráficos satisfatórios, Sombreamento e texturas atuais.     The evolution of the call of duty is this game. A history let you without breaht, and a perfect multiplayer. Also the coop its a funny way to expend your time. In my opinion game of the year. The best call of duty.

    I enjoy the gun play in the game, but beyond that it's almost pure unfiltered octopus diarrhea. haven't played the campaign yet, but if they could just fix the spawns and latency, it would be a lot more fun to play

    The campaign in this game is fantastic I love the characters and the story that is game provides there are some missions that annoy me but that's about it

    The multiplayer on the other hand is a disappointment...     When in reality what it really does it encourages players to camp which is not a good thing because of this using "Safe spaces" it causes a lot a frustrating and irritating situations..

    * like Players hiding in a corners and certain areas of the map
    * sticking a Claymore or a Bouncing Betty behind a door

    The gameplay mechanics don't exactly help..

    * Dead Silence is no longer a perk which means you can't sneak around the map as effectively considering that it's now a "field upgrade" on a time limit

    *there is No Perk,Killstreak or field upgrade which gives you extra health considering this game gives you a field upgrade for "extra damage"

    But I do like the "gun smith" feature having the ability to change weapon attachments around to create a variety of setups for your weapon is kind of addicting once you unlock the parts for it

    I just wish everything else was fixed up

    And now ever since "Warzone" has dropped I wouldn't recommend buying this game considering "Warzone" is free

    But if you really want a game where you can camp sit in a corner for enemies to come to you I would wait for a discount around say $30 at best

    Unless the developers do something to make multiplayer great again and I'm not talking about new maps,weapons and modes

    If they can make warzone as amazing then they can definitely do something to improve the multiplayer

    But for now I would avoid this game    … Expand

    First of all, the total amount coming in at around $100 for a game are you serious, then you have to download 160 something gigabytes of data THEN have to install another 60 gigabytes to even play, where did that 160 gigabytes go that took 10 hours?, ridiculous on size and price

    Game mechanics are better than ever!
    Multiplayer: Great experience, deep weapon customisation.
    Campaign: Too short, and new captain price is does not have the same nobility and empathy. It is alright, but a bit empty for that price tag.
    I bought it, but I feel the campaign should be more complete.

The movement, awareness and randomness is pretty much a cornerstone of the game. That’s why COD veterans can have problems with it — it’s hard to completely predict the outcome.     No entiendo porque hay tantas críticas negativas, la campaña es muy realista, no es corta con unos gráficos que muchos juegos envidiarían, la historia conecta con cada personaje que juegas.     This game is just soo much fun, i haven't had fun in years in a cod game, neither in Battlefield, it really feels good when you play it, feels satisfying.

    The bad is having really high ping in some matches, but the game is really good.

    They keep adding maps and weapons each season, i really love some items on season 4 so i had to buy it, im having a blast with friends in crossplay.

    la partida en Realista me ha encantado, aunque se me ha hecho más sencilla que en Curtido el apartado audiovisual es sublime escenas crudas, y capítulos que recuerdan a Zero Dark Thirty o 12 Strong, juego adulto lo peor del juego, de lejos, que haya que instalar, y    muy buena campaña, gran precuela de los Modern Warfare, con muchísimos guiños a la historia original de 2007

    la partida en Realista me ha encantado, aunque se me ha hecho más sencilla que en Curtido

    Probably the worst game ever made. Just playing the campaign requires you to download like 200 gigs of random data packs that don't work half the time, and when you FINALLY get it working the campaign crashes every cutscene and bricks your system. How this game was even released is beyond me.

    An awsome CoD refresh, feels like a completely diffrent game from recent ones like BO4, i think for me it realy feels like the original modern warfare.

    Been playing since release and still going strong!

    I thought playing this game would be great before MW2 comes out. But guess what happened? I couldn't even play the game. Because It says installation suspended even though I downloaded all the packages and apparently they didn't even bother the fix this for months even though it is a known issue. So basically I bought myself a Call of Duty launch screen for all that money.

    The game feels fundamentally broken. While I have 13 days played and feel like it has a lot of potential... Ultimately I feel punished for being a skilled player with their match making system, when coupled with lag issues 50% of the time games are unplayable..... Overall it feels broken and the more I play the more tedious it becomes.... I haven't experienced this before with any other COD

    An actual honest review on Modern Warfare in 2020. (4/4/20):

    QUICK DISCLAIMER: This a fair review of the game and I will not just beat the dead horse with the Russian controversy. Also I will not be reviewing the BR because of how new it actually is and that I cannot gauge an opinion on it. Campaign firstly: Ignoring all the gray zone controversies the campaign is a much needed    An actual honest review on Modern Warfare in 2020. (4/4/20):

    QUICK DISCLAIMER: This a fair review of the game and I will not just beat the dead horse with the Russian controversy. Also I will not be reviewing the BR because of how new it actually is and that I cannot gauge an opinion on it.

    Campaign firstly: Ignoring all the gray zone controversies the campaign is a much needed step-up from the likes of WW2 or Black Ops 3 but yet still fails to deliver in some aspects.

    Pros:
    - Hyper Realistic as promised except for the minor nitpick details (such as the occasional gun glitch or even the aiming at your teammates which was sadly pointed out) but overall a down to earth in your face experience for war
    - The characters are VERY memorable such as the likes of Alex or Farah
    - The effects, scripts, and placeholder elements are up to standard of the like of the best games on the market

    Cons:
    - The horrible plot holes and connections to real events are terrifyingly bad. It's like IW wanted to be bold and pull a Modern Warfare 2 with the turncoat Americans but for some reason went the same route of "Russians" as being the enemy effectively dividing the player base in half about the campaign.
    - It was such a narrow campaign and gave the player a lack choice that would impact the game. This isn't new to cod as Black ops 2 had done this in a way to make it one of the most impact campaigns for players and myself alike. This was also a soft reboot so this could have been done theoretically. Because this wasn't done it doesn't give the players moral choices that will impact the story in some way.

    Overall the Campaign is a solid 7/10

    Next the Spec Ops

    Pros:
    - It brings back survival and does it to a standard of which is on par with the previous iteration MW3.

    Cons:
    - The missions are an absolute trash heap of recycled content garbage from campaign missions and show little to no difference to the actual campaign
    - The content on launch was such a disgrace that I thought it was highway robbery to sell this game for $60. This will later become a common theme throughout.
    - AI is bugged in some missions??? Not sure if this is just based off of my game but the AI would sometimes completely bug out and forget how to do the smallest tasks such as open doors or even would sometimes walk into walls.

    Spec Ops for me gets a disastrous 2/10

    And now the multiplayer.... Jesus Christ the multiplayer

    Pros:
    - The Guns have a ton customization and you can try and make new variants for hours on end
    - Classes now have a non-pick 10 system which everyone is probably very happy with
    - The Sounds of the guns are absolutely outstanding!
    - The looks of the environment of maps are great following closely to real life due to scan imaging.
    - The UI for the Multiplayer and selecting gamemodes are a treat

    Cons:
    - The Maps are awful or at least the base maps created by IW. Even some remakes like Crash and Vacant seem very butchered by horrible map decisions such as doors in unnecessary places and the obvious placement of safe spaces for players
    - Spawns seem to be pretty terrible and I'd argue worse than in Black ops 4. It seems random and most of the time you seem to spawn in front or behind an enemy or the other case is being put so far away from the action (this is especially prevalent on 10 vs 10 maps) that you don't really even want to play the game anymore.
    - The class system favors camping instead of a balanced system. I find myself constantly calling this "crossing the street simulator" because of how unrewarding it is to the run and gun play style
    - The gunfights themselves seem stupidly clunky and it seems like there's always this one overpowered gun someone uses. It's so bad to the point to where it doesn't even matter who the first person is to shoot it's anyone's game now and it would usually be the person with the more overpowered weapon. I know it was like this in MW2 but the difference was that the weapons used in that game were all overpowered and usable.
    - Bugs that were rather displeasing to say the least such as invisible props or even broken player models

    My final rating for the multiplayer is a 4/10

Мы играем с друзьями и стабильно у одного или двух из нас, всегда начинается такая проблема... Просто начинает вылетать, играть не возможно, реализовать из за этого - оплаченный боевой пропуск - невозможно. Не говоря уж о том сколько матчей этими вылетами мы загубили рандомным тиммейтам, веть возврат в матч не предусмотрен. В техподдержке игры на официальном сайте, тебя автоматически кидают на страничку с решениями проблемы в духе: обновите драйвера. С подписью "вылетает? ничем не можем вам помочь."

Multiplayer is painful thanks to skill based matchmaking and the devs constantly lying their product. They claimed there would be no skill based matchmaking in Warzone, however players on YouTube have shown with their data that there is no doubt SBMM is in everything. Regardless of your opinion on SBMM, nobody should tolerate being sold a false bill of goods. SBMM is inferior to connection based simply by not providing you with the best connection possible. No further analysis needed. Nobody wants to be playing competitively in 2020 with 60/70+ ms ping. Games from 10+ years ago provided a smoother online experience. The final nail in the coffin for this title is the PC cheaters in Warzone. There appears to literally be no anti cheat in the game. Console players are disabling crossplay, defeating the entire purpose of it existing, and nobody can blame them. This MW should have be been a title for the ages but we were met with straight up lies about the game and a sub par experience.

    FYI Activision has a patent for MTX based matchmaking, that is to say, players who spend money in the game store will be rewarded by being placed in matches with players far below their own skill level. Players who do not pay this literal bribe to have "fun" are punished and used as fodder for the players who do spend money.

    In summary the game has no anti cheat, possible MTX based matchmaking, definite SBMM, mediocre at best story, glitches aplenty, and still has the nerve to harass you with buying gimmicky junk from the store with glorified pop-ups from the 90s on a full price AAA title.

    If players tolerate this behavior, they will have no one to blame besides themselves for future titles. We need to stop submitting to this and start voicing our opinions with our wallets by refusing to pay for this junk.

    This game exists for the sole purpose of squeezing as much money out of gullible players who throw money at shiny cosmetics and swindling players with lies about the games mechanics.    … Expand

The map design is mostly amazing, it's complex, has small and big maps, they all have power positions, and like every other title in the franchise, camping is inevitable, some people just don't like to give the game the dynamic fast pace gameplay that it offers, the only real problem with map design is the spawn system, sometimes it spawns you in the middle of a gunfight, sometimes mikes apart from where an enemy is, this has been getting fixed slowly, but it still has to get much better. Next up is movement, this game implements a new type of running called tactical run, the tactical run makes you run a lot faster at the cost of slower sprint to fire speed when you stop running, this new feature fits perfectly within the game, because it has so many open spaces that you don't want to get stuck in, the slide makes a return, which as much as I love the dolphin dive, it's way more useful, the ADS speed changes depending on the attachments you put on your weapon, and the speed while changing weapons varies depending on the weapon you're holding, or the one you're going to change to, in my opinion the speed to throw a lethal grenade, is too slow, and that needs to be fixed. The customization, customization in cod, has never seen something like this, even tho there's no making your own emblem, nor is there a complex character customization like in ghosts or AW, the weapon customization is next level, you can place up to 5 attachments in a weapon, these attachments can vary the way your weapon works for different scenarios, for example if you have an AR you can customize it to be more like an SMG in close quarter maps, the attachments can change the: range, stability, recoil control, sprint to fire speed, ADS speed, movement speed, etc. They can also change the look on your gun, and sometimes when you switch to another type of barrel your iron sights may change, speaking about looks, there is a lot, and I mean a lot of camos to unlock, and the mastery camos are some of my fav camos in any cod. All of this is just multiplayer tho, the campaign is another subject as a whole, the campaign in this game is a masterpiece, it's not the best campaign in cod history, for me that price goes to black ops 1, but this campaign goes into my top 3 for sure, it's fun, it's strategic, is well written and the developer team really investigated on how night and secret ops work. Spec ops was honestly fun, but not great, I think this is one of the reasons that Modern Warfare isn't perfect, the missions are way too hard, the prizes sometimes don't show up, if you lose and then one of your teammates decides he doesn't want to continue from checkpoint, none of the other players can continue, sometimes the missions bug, etc. I feel like IW wasn't really concerned in co-op and that was a big mistake. Overall this game is very good, but it's not perfect, I love it and I think it was good enough to bring the franchise back to life, but if you're wondering whether to buy it or not, please have in mind that maybe you won't be good instantly at the game, it's hard to get used to the flow, how to customize your guns correctly, etc. But this game is actually a lot of fun. There is also a lot to grind on, the Damascus camo is amazing, and now there is the new obsidian camo, so there is a lot of playing time! My accurate rate would be a 4.5 because there is some things that are yet to make this game perfect, but I know they will be fixed, truly is great game. Hope this is useful for you.… Expand

    Great Call of duty actually it is suprise me and I love the multiplayer and Warzone is not bad as battel royal game but not the best.

    This is one of the best CoD in a long time. Campaign is solid, fun, interesting and gets you really hooked up and the graphics are simply amazing! I don't get it why there are so many people upset because the Russians were the bad guys. It's a game ffs and it was great. Don't really care for the multiplayer, but I gotta say it was fun.     The campaign is good but the multiplayer is appauling, The developers would rather put more purchasable stuff into the game to make a quick buck than rather make the core elements of online better. you're better off waiting for the new cod game than buy this joke of a game.

    Iam not a Call of Duty fan, but i playing it for a while. Its a good game with better Graphics and Sound now. But this game is not for me. BF is for me a better Multiplayer game.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
