I really loved the old one Modern Warfare series, but this game is NOT about people who was like betrayed the homeland and became terrorist (like Makarov). You are just spreading a message to players: “Look at these Russians! We what they’re doing with civilians! They are not normal like us, they are terrorists!”. You even replaced American war crimes with Russian ones (talking about the “Highway of death”). The only positive Russian person in the game is Nikolai, and that’s it (Egor is Ukrainian, according to description).

    Don’t tell us that “it’s both sides of the war” and about those “gray spots” on the protagonist’s side. Their actions in the game are nothing, compared to Barkov’s and the Russian ones! And please don’t tell me that it’s just a game! In the same way, I can say that “Mein Kampf” is just a book. It’s a dirty propaganda against Russia and Russians themselves.

    I’m not a huge patriot of Russia, and I’m not a huge fan of Putin and Russia’s foreign policy, but you must have some sort of respect and tolerance towards your geopolitical enemy...just a little. But it seems that Activision and Infinity Ward don’t take care of that as much as me, so from now I will also not care about CoD-series, and I will stop buying their games.     First of all i would like to say that i was missleaded by the official advertisement - there is nothing to do with playing for different sides of the conflict. Pure propaganda - never saw such awful nazi implementation of it. Full of stereotypes and xenophobic nature. Good Allies saving the world along with resistance while bad Russians are killing kids, women and old people.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. В сюжетной части этой игре нету "серой морали" которую так восхваляли разработчики, тут кроме пропаганды вообще ничего нету. Тут русских ассоциируют с безжалостными нацистами, которым плевать на человеческие жизни. Генерал Барков в нем показан не как человек который делает добро с помощью зла, а обычного диктатора который делает все жестокие вещи оправдываясь что Урзыкстан - это страна террористов, хотя если подумать, то террористы в Урзыкстане появились потому что как раз таки Барков оккупировал Урзыкстан и начал убивать мирных граждан. Это еще один раз доказывает что разработчикам было плевать на "серую мораль" в игре и они хотели просто понапихать в нем много жестокости что бы хоть как-то оправдать свой дырявый сюжет. Но все же есть и хорошие русские в этой игре.....и это как ни странно был Николай и Егор (который никак не влияет на сюжет), и да, это тот самый Николай который был в оригинальной Modern Warfare только тут он либо был в отставке, либо он был под прикрытием ФСБ либо САС, и он так же осуждает действия Баркова и хочет что бы его не стало, но это лишь один человек а не все правительство осуждает Баркова. Еще в этой игре не понятны мотивы правительства Российской Федерации и не понятно кто конкретно хотел оккупировать Урзыкстан: правительство или генерал Барков. И из-за таких сюжетных дыр не возможно понять чем объяснены действия Баркова: приказами правительства или своими личными причинами. Но как уверяют разработчики американские и британские военные тоже не являются исключительно хорошими людьми и иногда делают жестокие вещи, но и всего в игре лишь 20-30% сюжетной игры являлась той самой плохой стороной американских и британских военных- это зачистка жиловых домов от террористов, разминирование бомбы на заложниках и пытки терристов используя из семьи как шантаж, но это никак не говорит о том что это и есть "серая мораль", это лишь их часть работы, с которой им приходится мирится. В этой игре лишь единственный запоминающийся персонаж - это Фара и Харид. Их действия оправданы потому что российские солдаты атаковали их страну и они дерутся за ее освобождение, даже порой нестандартными
    и жестокими способами. Но это никак не перекрывает все минусы сюжетной части игры и этого просто недостаточно. Честно я ожидал от игры серую мораль уровня Spec Ops The Line, где действительно покажут настоящую войну в которой все стороны конфликта действуют очень жестокими способами, но в этих действиях можно было найти смысл и можно было понять всю сложность ситуации. Но в этой игре я увидел лишь ничем не оправданную жестокость со стороны России и на 70% хороших американских и британских солдатов. После этого я хочу спросить у разработчиков: "Do you feel like a hero yet?"    … Expand

    Campaign is solid. Outside of that, this is the worst call of duty game I have ever played and I’ve been buying them since cod 1 on PC. The new engine and movement makes the gameplay slower, the guns make the game slower, the perks make the game slower, the lack of dead silence and any form of quiet crouch walking make the game more campy than any game I’ve ever played. I won’t even getCampaign is solid. Outside of that, this is the worst call of duty game I have ever played and I’ve been buying them since cod 1 on PC. Чтобы вы понимали я ждал от игры точку зрения с двух сторон, а не со стороны того, что русские свиньи убивают мирных людей. Да не в жизнь не поверю в то, что эта игра рассказывает правду. Мой друг вернувшись из Сирии рассказывал, что такого и в помине не происходит там. Мирные жители благодарны за то, что им делает Россия. За то что там делают русские их бы давно прибило командование.     Game is terrible on so many levels. It was clearly a rushed game. Doesn't even have some of the old normal multiplayer game modes. Maps are so bad too.

    Никогда раньше не ставил оценок играм на подобных порталах. Но сюжетная компания CoD заставила это сделать. Искренни любил серию MW, и очень ждал эту часть. Но то что я получил в этой сюжетной компании, переходит все границы.

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
