    This game is amazing. The campaign is stellar, showing the more gruesome sides of war. The multiplayer is a blast and Spec-ops is a joy. I don't agree with the opinion that the game is Russophobic. Barkov is shown to work semi autonomously from Russia. I'm very happy that infinity ward brought back survival mode. Overall a great game

    All human beings are capable of good and bad things. Just because in this FICTIONAL video game SOME Russians are depicted as the bad guys, does not mean in real life all Russians are bad! Why is this so hard to understand? I'm American and after playing through the campaign I don't think any less of Russians. Why? Because I understand that this is just a game. Nothing more.     And a really good one at that. The most brutal, in your face FPS I have ever played. Everything about it pops and it doesnt cut corners. The gunplay, graphics, gobs of content and yes even the maps that some people are complaining about are just fun as hell. if you enjoy shooters, this is the game for you.    … Expand

    These 0 reviews and their quotes and reasoning make me want to play this game that much more. My favorite quote thus far is the one where a guy complains about how mean the game is to Russia and then says it's likely to be censored by the government there. Gold. Something tells me the next season of Jack Ryan won't be a fave here either. I love Russians.... Artemi Panarin!

    Modern Russians are very realistic in this COD. Thanks to their huge experience of war crimes in Syria, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine. Occupants, looters, rapists and killers. According to the feedback of russians COD is getting 10 of 10. And russians will bring even +1 as an indemnity.

    So many reviews decrying the depiction of Russians. These days, they just annex countries under the semblance of security and influence elections towards candidates who think the illegal annexation of Ukraine is no big deal and their current "presence" in the wake of Turkey/Syria is "no cause for alarm" while our administration continues to insist that NATO is obsolete.     An excellent game, don't listen to the russian dogs crying below. They have not played this game and never will. This game is a 10/10 masterpiece. Americans are always the heroes while russians are evil villains.

    The game is really great! It’s more that just a shooter with a mediocre plot. MUCH more! Sometimes you feel like you in Rainbow 6siege, and sometimes like you in a horror game. And what is more fantastic - sometimes you feel like a monster from horror game! 10/10 without a doubt!

Bush ainda era o presidente dos EUA, os ataques de 11 de setembro de 2001 tinham ainda mais influência na cultura do que hoje, e o fascínio pelas operações modernas das forças militares do Ocidente era grande.

    A Activision e a Infinity Ward, sabiamente, aproveitaram esse momento para finalmente tirar Call of Duty da Segunda Guerra Mundial e trazê-lo à modernidade, diferenciando-o de rivais como Medal of Honor, Halo e Battlefield, que ou se mantinham no passado, ou imaginavam futuros diferentes.

    Agora, anos depois de CoD4 e suas continuações — sem contar um remaster —, reiniciar essa franquia com um novo jogo, agora simplesmente chamado Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, significa lidar comomos impactados de forma diferentes pela ideia de atirar uma metralhadora. Para muitos, armas automáticas estão mais associadas a massacres de civis do que ao combate de infantaria.

    E assim, pelo menos na campanha, o novo Modern Warfare ousa explorar não só a guerra, mas o pensamento e a moralidade dos seus personagens com uma história mais brutal. Mas, como um jovem saindo da puberdade para a vida adulta, o jogo não sabe bem lidar com todas as responsabilidades que a maturidade demanda. A história do novo Modern Warfare envolve um país fictício no Oriente Médio — Urzequistão — que está no meio de uma guerra civil.     As forças russas, aliás, ocupam o país há anos e são responsáveis por acontecimentos trágicos que afetaram diretamente os protagonistas, auxiliados na narrativa pelo agente da CIA Alex, o sargento da SAS Kyle Garrick e um velho conhecido dos fãs: Capitão John Price.

    A seguir vem uma série de missões que se encontram dentro do esperado de Call of Duty. Uma hora você está num tiroteio gigante no meio de uma cidade no Oriente Médio, e em outra se esconde em meio à escuridão para eliminar alvos numa operação secreta em Londres. Em termos de gameplay, a série continua trazendo momentos cinematográficos e variedade de mecânicas associadas à perspectiva em primeira pessoa, seja no pilotar de um helicóptero, aviões de controle remoto, no ataque à distância com uma sniper ou até mesmo controlando uma criança tentando sobreviver uma invasão.

    Diferente do Modern Warfare original, essa nova versão quebra a perspectiva em primeira pessoa com o uso de cutscenes excelentes e bem dirigidas (o visual do jogo é o tipo de coisa que só é possível com um orçamento fora do comum), mas a grande parte da ação ainda acontece enquanto você está com o controle na mão.

    Essa sempre foi a principal arma da campanha de Call of Duty: te manter dentro da ação, controlando o personagem em cada um dos momentos dignos de cinema, olhando por seus olhos. O que muda, entretanto, é o que essas missões demandam que você veja. Suicídios com bombas, assassinatos, tiroteios em capitais como Londres e até mesmo a morte de famílias — muitas vezes através das suas ações — estão entre os elementos mais delicados que testemunhamos na história. Em uma determinada missão, ao infiltrar as casas de terroristas da Al-Qatala, não é incomum, após matar o homem que mirava em você, ver sua esposa — chorando e gritando — pegar a arma que seu marido usava para tentar te matar. A escolha é clara: mate-a ou perca o jogo. Modern Warfare te força a olhar enquanto você aperta o gatilho. É brutal, mas ao mesmo tempo, não é gratuito.     I don’t know what all this talk is about this Russian propaganda and non sense is because I haven’t played the story but everyone knows the bulk of gameplay comes from multiplayer and my god have they saved the series. I was scared this game was going to plagued with loot boxes and micro transactions but no! They managed to save this series from the brink of death. Absolutely phenomenal.

    Best COD game of the decade! Keep up the good work. Really emphasizes on the atmosphere and overall feeling. Don't mind the trolls. They're just pitiful.

    MW 2019 is the best COD since MW2 (but not better than MW2) The campaign is absolutely insane (in a good way). The characters are very well written and there are many very memorable moments in many of the missions. I can't go into detail because of spoilers but its the best COD campaign since COD 4 (but not better than COD 4). Some people are complaining that the Russians in this game are seen as terrorists or it is spreading anti-Russia propaganda even though its just a video game and this is just a pathetic way people try to pull politics into a game and also the people complaining about this are just lazy and can't open their eyes to see the actual game, play it and make an actual review on every part like i am doing. If you don't like the themes and story of the game don't play the game and definitely don't go and write a 0 star review just because of how the Russians are portrayed, you are not telling a truthful review of the game your just pulling politics into the game and misleading others. Other then uneducated people giving the campaign a bad name, its great and i hope that Infinity Ward makes a sequel to it in their next game.

    The multiplayer is fun and spec ops is amazing. Survival is amazing but it sucks that its only available for PS4 until October 2020 and that is the only reason why i scored 9/10 instead of 10/10, but this isn't infinity ward's fault. Survival had some bugs when it first released and one of the maps are very bad but has now been fixed and is amazing.

    Multiplayer is very toxic but its COD so i mean what do you expect.. The new game engine is amazing and works very well with COD's formula. The maps are great and range from small with tight spaces to very large and open areas. Ground war is everything that i wanted from COD, even though some people are criticizing it for "copying battlefield", i don't care. Even if the ground war mode copied battlefield you have to admit that it is just dumb fun action, which is what i would expect out of COD and i hope that is what other people expect.

    Overall MW 2019 is the best COD since MW2, with a brilliant campaign and amazing Multiplayer/Spec Ops. Even though Activision blocked people on Xbox and PC from survival for a year after release, its fun for the people that play it now.    … Expand

    If only we could rate a game on its playability, enjoyment level, and technical achievements. ITS A GAME! IT IS FICTIONAL! Someone has to be the bad guys. If people are stupid enough to believe the content of a game then they should not be allowed to play them.

    Honestly this is the first time in a decade call of duty actually decided to play at it's own core strenghs and put EFFORT in instead of poorly imitating what used to be superior fps games. And lo' and behold it's actually better than all the other fps games this decade put together! Who'd have thought! Certainly not you Activision that's for **** sure. It succeeds in that it puts fun ahead of everything else. There's never a dull moment, you move from one heart pounding firefight to the next, using every tool at your disposal to gain an advantage, every scenario is coated with enough realism to make it immersive without stripping away the simplistic fun of just shooting virtual bad guys.

    You're no one man/woman army in a goddamn Farcry wannabe environment like in battlefield, This is proper shooter material that we've all loved since the beginning, mission based gameplay split up into various gameplay segments that advance the story. The shooting mechanics have been dramatically improved with the added slide, mount and reload-while-looking-down-sights mechanics. The walking pace has also been reduced, resulting in an overall better handling and controls. Also you can sprint for more than three seconds which is good but not recommended unless you're running for cover or away from grenades, you're better off moving slower and checking your corners like a real spec ops agent would. The weapons all feel heavy and impactful with semi-realistic recoil and smoke and sound effects, sweeping the floor with the bb guns of previous COD and BF games(yes I'm still bashing on battlefield cry me a river).

    The voice acting is top tier, the lines are delivered with impact and genuine passion which fit well within the beautifully rendered cutscenes. Nothing feels out of place within the confines of the narrative, goes to show that yes, new generation first person shooter campaigns can be pretentious and still be entertaining as hell.

    Now moving on to the multiplayer aspect of COD, ok, I'm just gonna stick my foot up my mouth and just say that you're probably better off with battlefield multiplayer. I know i sound like an idiot but even though i prefer COD online vs battlefield online, if you're a new comer from either a non fps genre or battlefield you're gonna get extremely frustrated with cod's online behavior. Campers and miners galore! With the maps designed the way they are; full of nooks and crannies and conveniently covered and hidden vantage points, you're basically asking every player to be a Dickhead. So if you're not used to this brand of multiplayer **** I'd stick to the high ttk trenches of baby battlefield. Which at least is somewhat deterrent of campers. And the maps are significantly better, more suitable for skillful aiming accuracy rather than corner trickery. Though I'm not vouching for battlefield's connectivity on this one, with cod maps compacted as they are, there's less chance of latency than with the huge sprawling 60 player maps of bf. However the player progress is deliciously reminiscent of cod's good old days. Simplistic and full of new items to unlock and customize. No unnecessary monetizations so far during the time of this review, however should they be implemented later, i will come back and reduce the score from 8/10 to 5/10. I do not tolerate microtransactions of any sort in any game other than free to play, i already paid the required sum when i purchased the product. Even if it's just cosmetics, kindly out the damn door with you please. Right well that's that. If you're a fan of story driven first person shooters or even kinda intrested in them i highly recommend the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Ignore the screeching crowd of offended "cod haters". You gotta give credit where it's due and COD earned it's way back on it's throne.    … Expand

Graphics are great, the game feels smooth and i just found it very immesive overall. Also, despite being an FPS, they managed to include many types of gameplay during the campaign, so it's not just run n' gun from start to finish.
    Also, i can see they've put CO-OP missions back in, like the good old MW2 days. Haven't tried them out yet, but i'm looking forward to it.
    To sum it up, if you're able to look past the "USA good, Russia bad" stereotype in the campaign, this COD is a really great game, and my favourite since MW2.    … Expand

    Holy Moly! Russian troll factories are clocking overtime on this one! What a bunch of snowflakes! It's just a game Vladimir! Best fps I've played since R6 Seige. Combat is good, quick and fun, both campaign and online. Graphics are excellent even if they do make my Ps4 howl. Facial movement is some of the best I've seen so far. Opfor AI is pretty damn good.     This is an excellent COD after a string of hits and misses. Not sure why there are so many complaints about Russians being the villains. COD has always taken on dictatorships, and unfortunately the country is still being lead by one of the worst dictators this world has ever known. Solid game with great multiplayer.

    This game is good. it's in my opinion the best cod game we have had in years. But the way they portray the Russians is just wrong. I know the Russians have done some bad things but this is way to far. Other than that if you just look at the campaign as a fictional story, it's good. Best sound design in any fps game ever. Best gunplay in the cod series. And one of my favorite campaign ever.

    COD Modern Warfare in my opinion is a great game that has lots to do in the game. The game fills most peoples interests with a long detailed story or the action packed multiplayer. i feel like the game is the best cod since bo3. The only problem with the multiplayer is the way people play, camping players decide to sit in corners and it makes the game go on way to long.

The only thing they need to do it adjust some of the maps so you don't get spawn killed (e.g bridge across the map looking into the spawn) and tanks need to have limited shells instead of unlimited .     Игра очень крутая и динамичная,мне поравилось.Но стадо даунов которые называют игру русофобией меня очень сильно бесят,они таже не обращали внимание на геймплей,графику и физику, это просто игра и вымысел разработчиков.

    I think this game is excellent. It is exactly what it plans to be. A simple first person shooter that is a bit of fun. Its the best COD game in ages. I have heaps of fun with it

    This game is the best COD in... history. Not talking about the story. Everything is smooth, graphics are nice... This engine is revolutionary, and i really hope it gets used for the next CODs.
    But the maps are too big. This would have been better received if it was called Hiking Simulator, because on the bigger maps you usually spend more time running from A to B than capturing A or B.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
