    Finally, after a huge chunk of mediocre and bad games, the Modern Warfare reboot revived the series. This game has an excellent campaign and some of the most in depth multiplayer in the series. Plus, we got Warzone!

    Very addicting and motivating weapon leveling/unlocking/customization system. Even the season pass has motivating rewards such as XP boosters. Should be supported. Spent already 15 hours only in team deathmatch.

    Campaign very brutal but very cinematic and gameplay well composed.

    The most fun I've had in a Call of Duty game in a very long time. I hope that future COD games will go a similar route. One of my favorite things is the weapon customization. You can customize a weapon for whatever play style you want.
    I really do appreciate the cosmetic only micro-transactions and don't mind spending a few bucks every now and then for a cool operator skin.

    The game is graphically pleasing, but sound is inconsistent. I heavily rely on sound and there have been times where enemies will just run up on me and I won't hear a thing. While other times I can hear them loudly from even further away which is very frustrating.

    A pretty good and super fun game. The sounds are enjoyable, movement, gameplay, and guns. Many maps are enjoyable, has ground war, the sounds are very satisfying and such.

    Another propaganda against Russia. They spoiled any attitude on the part of Russia. Showed Russian some barbarians, although we are not close to doing what you show in almost every mission of the game. And if you look at the history of the 90 years, in which you just participated in these operations. Why distort history?

    I created an account here especially to write a few words about MW. I am a big COD fan and I really had to share my thoughts with you.

    Some reflections: - New MW maps are not as characteristic as the old ones - they lack characteristic places, they are just unremarkeble. For example - Crash has got the wrecked heli in the center of the map; Crossfire is the characteristic street with    I created an account here especially to write a few words about MW. I am a big COD fan and I really had to share my thoughts with you.

    Some reflections:
    - New MW maps are not as characteristic as the old ones - they lack characteristic places, they are just unremarkeble. For example - Crash has got the wrecked heli in the center of the map; Crossfire is the characteristic street with many hideouts; Terminal or Highrise from MW2 were very oriiginal. Each map was diffrent. In MW 2019 maps are quite similar. We need differentiation and specific map constructions, not just some buildings and lanes.
    - Hardcore mode is a bit hidden in the game modes menu. It is easier to play Realism Mode, that is not better at all. Fewer people play HC mode, because it's hard to find it. I think that Realism should be more hidden and the HC rather on the top!
    - There could be the supply drops for points earned in the game - a nice incentive to collect points for which you can buy them. Something is missing. That would be really encourage.
    - Unlocking weapon accessories is too fast. It's hard to appreciate the time and effort in the game. We had to spend quite a few hours in Battlefield game to unlock another reflector sight.

    Pros:
    + Shooting mechanics are great, new animations also
    + Operators, guns, perks, killstreaks - just old good COD
    + Edgy weapon customization
    + Old COD maps - Crash and Vacant are best for now! I am waiting for more classic maps
    + Music is great! Similar to all new military movies and even John Wick soundtrack.

    I know this is just the Season One and a lot can change in the future. Personally, I'm waiting for new maps. It would be nice to see the FN2000 from MW2, some Sig Sauer weapons, HK UMP...

    That's a somewhat polemic topic, but here I go: Yes, the history rewriting is hideous and should NEVER be done. It is dangerous and a menace to knowledge. Aside from this, the game is one of the best I played. Very fun to play, and jaw-dropping graphics. It id a shame such great work has this type of flaw. It is something that I hope never happens again.

Adorei o jogo, gráficos lindos, jogabilidade ótima com controles bons, suaves e responsivos, história legal, personagens legais, mas o que realmente brilha no jogo é o fato de que nós jogamos com uma criança, uma **** criança, isso nunca foi feito antes (até onde eu saiba) na série COD e foi realmente uma surpresa do caralho ver isso. O jogo é chocante em algumas partes, não diria muito, mas pelo jogo mostrar a realidade de muitas pessoas, algumas partes podem ser realmente tristes e tensas. O plot-twist também é muito legal, realmente é difícil de imaginar que alguém como o Hadir roubou as toxinas (eram toxinas? Eu nem me lembro, faz um tempinho desde que joguei hasdhsaudh). Infelizmente acabei não podendo jogar o modo online (visto que não possuo um PS4 ;( ) mas tenho certeza que ele é muito massa. Em geral, ele é um ótimo jogo, vejo que muitas pessoas ficaram putas pelo fato de terem russos e eles serem tratados como os vilões no jogo, muitos dizendo que é preconceito com os russos e que o jogo teve uma propaganda em cima de política e pá, sendo sincero, acho que não era preciso ter russos sendo os vilões, se não me engano isso já foi feito, não manjo da política aqui do Brasil, imagina dos outros países ahsdasud, por isso não tenho muito o que dizer sobre o negócio dele ter tido muita propaganda em cima de política e coisas assim, mas bem, deixando essas coisas de lado, COD: MW é um ótimo jogo com gráficos lindos, jogabilidade ótima, história legal, personagens legais, coisas chocantes e um plot-twist massa. Eu recomendo.

    Best MP since Titanfall 2. Really good balancing and different maps. Future Maps and Weapons for free. Nice move Activision. Maybe they should try this model in other Games in the future

The pacing is great, gunplay feels incredibly weighty and meaningful, everything runs smoothly (PS4) and the maps are interesting and provide lots of opportunity to use the environment to one's advantage (not purely run and gun). Progression so far has been interesting as well. So a clearFrom a multiplayer point-of-view this game is absolutely phenomenal, best COD I've played really.     Didn’t like the campaign at all, all you have to do is shoot. Almost no plot and character’s story, just shooting. However the multiplayer is really good imo. Some maps are build so you always get killed in the back, but others are kinda balanced. I liked a lot how weapons and shooting mechanics are made, it actually feels like you are holding a gun. I really had a lot of fun playing thisDidn’t like the campaign at all, all you have to do is shoot. Almost no plot and character’s story, just shooting. However the multiplayer is really good imo.     A solid 8! Because of the new engine, gunsmith system and many more. But i know that this modern warfare is more like tactical shooter rather than arcade shooter, so is slower than the other cod games. Well i like it beside of the camper really. But all in all it's a new step for the game and i really enjoy it.

    No supply boxes, no pay to win weapons, all of the micro-transactions are just cosmetics and the guns feel very satisfying to use.
    The only disappointing thing about this game is that the campaign was very short but it was amazing.
    And to all the angry russian people I just want to say this THERE IS GOOD RUSSIAN CHARACTERS IN THE GAME like Nikolai. It's not about the russian people its about Barkov and how his leadership is wrong and demanding, NOT EVERY RUSSIAN SOLDIER IS BAD they're taking their actions from the orders of Barkov, I'm Arabian and I don't think this game is islamophobic or anything because it shows some muslim/arabian terrorists being bad people, some people are good some people are bad it's not about race or culture.    … Expand

Multiplayer had it's problems when it came out but it has mostly been ironed out and is a pretty pristine experience now, plot is fantastic, yes there is "Grey morality" the US declares Farah's forces terrorists and Barkov's forces commit war crimes, I've seen people give this game a 0 purely over the highway of death thing but I don't see that as enough of a reason to hate this game, (Although it is why I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10)
    Also is you think they treated the Russian's unfairly in this game, please take a step back and realize they demonized Barkov's forces, not the whole Russian nation.
    I've poured almost 8 days into the multiplayer now and I plan on playing till Infinity Ward drops their next game. Truly an amazing Call of Duty and by far the best one is years. You really hit it out of the park this time Infinity Ward.    … Expand

    Call of duty modern warfare is a beautifully made game with amazing graphics on both consoles and PCs. It controls really smoothly. Some guns do need some buffs. I really enjoy the shotgun meta as it encourages close up battles. Snipers are actually decent compared to the previous games where enemies would jump really high making sniping harder. Amazing gunplay, ultra-realistic graphics and one of the most important things about multiplayer, amazing map design. I'm not the biggest fan of the campaign as I've always been a multiplayer first gamer but after playing through around 70% of it, I'd say its alright (But not perfect).

But what I do have a problem with is how people are getting offended over russians being presented as bad guys whilst forgetting that Modern Warfare 1, 2 and 3 did the exact same.     I don't want to compare this game with MW2, Waw and MW1 because they're classic and could not be compared with a new generation game, but for me MW2 is the best CoD ever.
    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a high-quality modern FPS without any futuristic **** Shooting here is pleasanty from any kind of weapon. The gameplay itself is dynamic and interesting. What is good - it's not the same in all missions and gives you time to rest from running and shooting and sometimes offers you different QTEs which I was missing. Graphic is stunning and realistic, pleasure for eyes. Characters are not stupid dummies who just open mouth during cutscenes - thanks for talented actors (Barry Sloane, Elliot Knight, Chad Michael Collins, Claudia Doumit and Konstantin Lavysh). Great soundtrack that gives me goosebumps - good work by Sarah Schachner.
    You can say anything, but this new part of Call of Duty deserves to be played. I always buy a new CoD only for campaign and this is the first campaigh for many years which I'll remember.    … Expand

    Every single time I have talked about a COD game I say the same thing, if you've played one multiplayer you've played them all. So obviously, I only care about the campaign and to my surprise, there is some good stuff here.

    My biggest criticism with this one is that there are still more than a few levels that contain re-spawning enemy throughout.     My biggest criticism with this one is that there are still more than a few levels that contain re-spawning enemy throughout. The reason I'm not a fan of this is because it can break the flow of the game and the immersion all together. With that in mind, there are some fantastic scenarios here ranging from good to great. Don't get me wrong, even with some added features to the control scheme, this still feels like the same old COD we know. But what has kept it fresh is the amount of variety sewn into each level due to the deep and intense story. And that story hit's the right marks. Yes, there is a cringe worthy moment or two due to the lack of subtlety to the message (“did we make the right call?”). However, the overall narrative does a good job exploring the ambiguous nature of modern war, way more than previous titles. There is some confronting stuff here and it's not just for shock value.

    More than anything though, the praise should go right to the visuals and sound. Wow, the graphics and art design look photo realistic at times and the sound is pretty much spot on. From the night-vision IR lighting to the snap of a round passing your head, it all draws you in to a intense atmosphere that can be hard to top.

    You'll still be paying top dollar for this game for some time. And even though it is the same COD game-play we have always had, it really is the next step forward in quality. AAA price for a AAA experience.    … Expand

TTK is slightly fast but I still enjoyed it. Ground war an excellent addition. In its current condition, it's not good. But I can see Activision dipping their toe in the water.     Literally everything is amazing apart from the maps which is a big problem. Other than that. Animations are the best in a FPS game, graphics are good and sound design is very good aswell

    One of my Top 3 fav CoD games, story is great, gameplay is fun and the mechanics are good. It's sad seeing it get review bombed by angry Russians. I've always said it and I'll say it again Metacritic is the most unreliable review source precisely because it's so easy to review bomb games here. As for the game, I would recommend 100%. (Unless you're russian, I guess...)

    Le multi est une Masterclass pour une fois le jeux est plus exigent et pas du aim assist abuser bonjour cold war les fusil on du recul même si certains accessoires rendent les armes cheater, les animations,les graphismes et le sound design est juste fous l'immersion à 100%. Sinon pour la campagne c'est plutôt clicher mais plutôt prenant

    The game is amazing the campaign is really good it made me feel emotions which has not happen in a long time for a call of duty game the multiplayer is really good with a little bug fixes it will be perfect. The Co-Op is actually playable now infinity ward is listening and fixing spec ops. Warzone is ok but I usually play multiplayer and the co-op.

    Despite Activision continuing to hold back their studios from giving players a complete product.. sigh. CoD is genuinely, wholeheartedly, back to form. Story & Multiplayer are equally hard hitting and brutal in all the best ways and refreshingly focus’s on what players want, not what developers think they do.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this entry in the Call of Duty franchise. From a gripping campaign, to a packed multiplayer and the new addition of Warzone, there is something for everyone. The spec ops were a nice addition, but could have been delivered better. Overall, Its a massive leap forward for the franchise that was desperately needed after Black Ops 4. This formula works and will continue toI thoroughly enjoyed this entry in the Call of Duty franchise.     Visually-pleasing, great sound, good gameplay mechanics, good game design (especially with the Gunsmith feature), fun and addictive multiplayer experience. Mediocre singleplayer storyline with unfortunately, anti-Russian element, bad historical revisionism and weak characters. Though, it's a good return and reboot of the Modern Warfare series. Looking forward to the next installment after this.

    it has free maps
    spec ops is nice now

    when the game first came out it didn't win me over but as of updated it and fixed some of the things it has gotten much better less glitches but the spawns are still atrocious

    I honestly think this game is pretty good. Pros:Great visuals. Great sound execpt for footsteps. Great gunplay. Great weapon customization. Free dlc maps, weapons, and a decent battle pass system. Spec ops was pretty teribble at the beginning of the game, but it has improved over time. Great campagin.     I guess the best modern COD, but still a far cry from what I used to expect from this series. My main issues with the game are things that sadly plague just about every modern game with multiplayer. But I won't deny that it was a bit of a return to form for the series.

    It's pretty good,campaign is good but it tries way too hard to shock the player.Multiplayer is like MW2's multiplayer,good selection of modes map design is pretty good.Not much to say here the game is fun.

The game brought a whole bunch of great changes to the series and I thank the developers for it. The MW Engine really is a game changer, the movement, gunplay, graphics, everything, is amazing.     Feels like a really smooth revived game. The engine this game runs on is great. Campers paradise sometimes in multiplayer but other then that this game revived the COD series for me.

    O primeiro jogo da franquia que eu compro na pré-venda. Não me decepcionei. Partidas empolgantes, gameplays frenéticas, dublagem excelente, som animal e a micro transação razoável. Porém o que mais me chamou a atenção nesse COD em específico foi o armeiro, que foi bem feito.

    People are crying because there is too much "Russophobia" when MW2 and 3 are based on the same principle, it's not the greatest campaign ever, but to give it a 0/10 because you think that the campaign is a bit cliche is a bit too much. The multiplayer is awesome and feels really good, as do the weapons which pack a good punch with their design and sound.

    The atmosphere of the game was well defined at launch but updates and partnerships has subdued some of this. The weapon animations are on point and the sound design is magnificent, definitely the peak of the game.     The best call of duty search experience I’ve had. A ton of guns with friends. Story was amazing too. Special operations was sub par but I don’t play that. One of the greatest and over hated cod’s of all time.

    Much better than Vanguard. It really seems like a very good Call of Duty game, it brought the franchise back to life and you can do quick scoping again.

They should add a universal ranking system though so you know how good of a lobby you are in.

    The campaign is solid but sometimes feels like it is just a compilation of emotional and dramatic bits from recent movies and political debates. It has those intense scenes but they often feel disconnected. Also the amazing gunplay in multiplayer just never has the same feel in campaign. It is still a fun six hours but nothing special.

    This is a solid call of duty game. The best in the past 5 years for sure. Great graphics, movement, gunplay and tons of guns and attachments. Well worth the $60. Highly recommend for any casual FPS gamer. Much better than their past two releases.

    I have had so much fun in this game throughout the hundreds of hours I've played. Multiplayer is a bit slow paced but shoot house is so much fun. The campaign tells a compelling story and spec ops.. is there. Overall it's a amazing game.

    Well, what do you say now, people who shouted that there is Russophobia in the game, etc. This game directly shows your morality and the real damage caused to other nations of the world (Ukraine, Syria and many others) by the Russian army. And for those who don't know yet: Verdansk is modeled after Donetsk, which was captured by Russia.

Much like a Michael Bay film, the pacing is designed to hide these deficiencies. Still, it was hella fun, and probably the best CoD entry up to that point.     + Graphics are arguably the very best on the system
    + Gameplay has an excellent balance of fun without feeling too arcade-esque
    + Multiplayer maps are very well designed

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
