    They had a good chance to make a really nice game, but they decided to ruin it (specially for most non-US players) with this stupid propaganda **** The unnecessary airport mission in MW2 was not enougt? Seems that Russophobia is not curable.

    Amazing graphics and gameplay. But despite all that the anti Russian propaganda and bogus white helmet "rescuers" were so blatant I have to give 1 star. I am American by the way with no Russian ancestry.

    Bad just bad. Black ops 4 is better and that says a lot. Matter of fact MW remastered is better. Maps are huge and the run speed is slow and you have to use dead silence everybody camps and you barely see people get over 11 kills. As shotguns are not supposed to have crazy range but shoot like a sniper no mini map so if your team is losing and the other team has a uav you have to camp withBad just bad. Boring pace unless your in a small map which will still be filled with campers. All the good guns come from leveling up and no prestige system idk how this game feels like it has worse movement compared to modern warfare remastered. Black ops movement is way better and you can swim in the water . They have places in the map if you fall you die which is horrible when dealing with grenade spamming. The game takes no skill at all but if you want to show skill run and get kills mat a fast rate prepare to deal with the camper aiming at his teammates ready to kill when you finish killing his teammates and I understand in cod that happens but if your getting shot at in a random location and can’t find out where you can’t challenge and have a highlight gun fight. The game is now suggesting to players how to camo it’s that bad . The guns are not balanced at the point you are ether a snapper or shotgun player cause sub machine gun play is very limited because the purpose is defeated by guess what a shotgun sweat. This was 2000 steps back I would think this is call of duty 2 before modern warfare call of duty 4 it’s like a old game on a 8 Gen system playing with 8k graphics that look great but the game play isworse than playing 0007 James Bond on N64 or resident evil on PlayStation 2 its 8 Gen graphics with half of the Nintendo 64 game play and movement ability . Don’t get me started on how they spawn people in front or behind while your on a streak or near one this game is bad and I recommend you playing BO4 ww2 or Mw remastered until BO5 comes out . So much potential gone to waste; even you play for multiplayer than just move on as this game is made for campers.You can’t move an inch out of your spot with getting obliterated,destroyed,gunned the hell down. Jesus Christ fix this game. I almost broke my controller from the amount of rage.FIX THIS GAME NOW,I’m done with giving the cod franchise chances.

    In this game, the game is attributed to war crimes. There is no gray morality in this game, all Russian evil and all of them need to be hated, screenwriters from an endless parish) are trying to incite full-fledged hatred specifically to Russia (Russians), and the SAS are exposed as idiots (as British intelligence could not have noticed a whole army of terrorists) . The Russian army did not occupy one country for 20 years. Ehhh, and the scriptwriter had such potential to show both the American army on the unintended side, and the Russian, in general, they earn more money in the war.

    This review is only for multiplayer Where do i start, from Op weapons that break the game to matchmaking that put you versus people that are really bad or basically impossible to kill witch makes the game not fun at all ,i wouldn't recommand this game right it is simplellly not worth 80$

    Slow ADS times + extremely fast TTKs (around 200ms) + mounting every corner with no recoil + getting claymores when you start the game + ghost always active + very, very poorly    One of the worst CoD's to date if you like to run and gun or even move. This game promotes camping. Period. If you want strong killstreaks, rushing, moving, what CoD was all about, this is not the game for you.

    The campaign is fairly decent but probably one of the worst out of all the modern warfare games and spec ops can be enjoyable at times. But the multiplayer. The multiplayer is filled with campers and spawn killers who will take advantage of the games mechanics to make you end up throwing your controller out the window. The maps are terrible with a few decent ones like Hackney yard andThe campaign is fairly decent but probably one of the worst out of all the modern warfare games and spec ops can be enjoyable at times. But the multiplayer. The multiplayer is filled with campers and spawn killers who will take advantage of the games mechanics to make you end up throwing your controller out the window. The maps are terrible with a few decent ones like Hackney yard and azhir cave. I would not recommended this at all as it is a waste of £40-£50 depending on where you get it. At first I was hyped for this game because black ops 4 was mediocre and because the mw games were amazing but I was severely disappointed and let down by campers and a bad game design.     Multiplayer is really good, Spec ops although hard is fun but the obvious black sheep is the campaign. Some things are really good about it, Captain Price being just as badass. But other things such as the war themes are just so redundant and stupid. In the other CODs you could understand the villains motivations. (Even AW had a better villain for **** sake) but in this one you can't think for him or understand him. It's just that he's bad or something like that. ****ing hell, how could Infinity Ward **** up this bad? Why can't we have a Chinese or North Korean threat instead of a basic, by the books, Russia is bad. What I do like however are the moments where you play as a young Farah, the mission where you watch a ****ing town get bombed is so ****ed up, glad to see Infinity Ward pissing people off again.    … Expand

    If you like running and gunning give it a miss. If you love to camp, pre-aim doors and one hit with a shotgun this is the game for you. I've been a cod fan since the first and this is by far the worst multiplayer experience i've had on a COD game. The perks are imbalanced, the weapons are a mess and the maps are sh*t.

    straight up a bad game. If u are considering to buy it, just don't buy it, very bad. the campaign is bad as fulled with propoganda. Additionally the game is not well optimised and the borderline wooden gameplay mechanics not the flexible. To conclude they hyped by just straight up lying about the game, and would you trust theme with you're money, pls reconsider, dont buy it

    The single player campaign is awesome 10 out of 10. But.... that takes a few hours and the real game is multi player.     - some gamemodes disable the deaths count in the scoreboard but still count them towards the overall statistic why not just make HQ/Domination not count towards the overall KD if that players take going for objectives seriously.

    - Bad Menu (For certain game modes u need to filter Quickplay first or you ll never find a hardcore server which makes the whole menu a joke if only some modes are in the bigger menu)

    + Weapon Costumization is pretty good

    + Finaly a COD which isnt one of the SCI-FI games

    But as usual, the COD franchise is stuck in the past with its "on rails" storytelling and gameplay, some of which can be at times fairly good. There are a few missions that really shine, and make you feel like you're really in a modern combat situation. However, the Hometown mission is one of the worst pieces of gaming I've ever played. If I had the choice between having to play that mission again, and never playing another game, it would be the end of my gaming career. It's indescribably awful, from the ridiculously unreal movement, to the set-piece style action, it's a failure on nearly every level. Points for the story, which did give me pause to consider the plight of those concerned. There are much better ways to get that point across though, and being taken out of the body of a modern day soldier and thrown into the perspective of a seven year old girl is not only incredibly frustrating, but also insulting. I don't need forced perspective to bottle-feed me morality, thanks. More importantly, I absolutely despise the "you can do it any way you want, as long as it's in this exact way" kind of gaming. Why not give players tools, and let them figure out how best to solve a specific problem? It makes for much more dynamic gameplay, which in turn almost necessarily means more fun. Dying endlessly until you figure out the ONE WAY the developers want you to complete an objective (while being given nearly no clues as to how it must specifically be done) makes for a terrible game. There are flashes of brilliance, but overall the campaign feels like you're a dog, and you're futilely straining your neck as someone tries to rub your nose in ****.    … Expand

    A very nasty feeling after this game. It is especially amazing how much the developer hates Russian people. In the future I have no desire to buy games from these developers. P.S. I urge people !!! return the money for this game back to the developers, it’s better to buy yourself something tasty, or go to some movie, take a walk with your family. Have a nice day.

    Modern warfare makes great strides in terms of the gun play and map design. Too bad there are so many bugs that the game is unplayable. This game launched with constant freezes (every 2 min for 10 sec) which makes playing extremely frustrating. Every other game, the game will crash. Challenges do not track, graphical glitches make it impossible to see your character and weapons.

Every single game mode plays the same and is plagued with awful map design. Literally nothing is done right, as someone who has sunk 4k+ hours into CS:GO, I know what a good map should play like. Weapon balance is terrible and only 1-2 guns are viable out of each class type. Weapon smith system is just a re skinned system and not in depth/endless like promised. Especially when only a select few attachments are actually good. Stun and flash grenades last WAY to long, even with using the perk to reduce effects. The tick-rate of the servers is so bad that I can start shooting an enemy first on my client and end up dying even we use the same weapon and I don't miss. Happens constantly and is enraging. I don't expect this game to keep getting updates for very long to fix the real problems, like all of the other call of duties. They most likely already have all the dlc created and are releasing it on a schedule as Activision does. Cross map noob tubes and grenades ruin pretty much every game yet it's still an integral part of these open maps with no sky boxes. Buy this game if you have low blood pressure and need to raise it, or if you're someone who likes annoying people by using unskilled 1-hit-kill methods since this game has so many of them. Not to mention the story tries to make you feel sympathy for Islamic terrorists, disgusting. Are you an American company or what? The only reason this game gets a 1 is because it doesn't have season pass bull crap. New games seem to get worse and worse, don't know why I even try buying anything from this over worked industry with harsh deadlines to push out unfinished and untested products.… Expand

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
