Nov 20, 2021Atrocious, ambiguous & repetitive quicktime controls aside, the story was pretty engaging; Page & Dafoe's performances were very good. It definitely might be worth multiple playthroughs. Maybe the score will go up if I try a few more times.

Jun 25, 2020I think this game is below average compared to other Quantic Dream games. I do not find the story setup right. A beautiful story has fallen victim to the way of telling.I'm sorry for my bad english :)

Sep 11, 2020Жаль, но игра намного хуже Хэви Рейна. Из плюсов выделю актёров и концовку, а так слабый сюжет, слабый геймплей и слабая музыка. Средняя игра.

Sep 17, 2021This game is like a movie that should tell a good story, the problem is that the story is stupid. Stupid characters with pointless stuff going on and the game tries to distract you from the stupid story by putting stupid QTEs everywhere. Bad game

Jul 7, 2022Like the other games from the same team but it still looks very good for the PS3

Sep 8, 2018Zajímavá zkušenost, ale hra sama o sobě není dobrá. Příběh nic moc ,hratelnost klasická pro hry od Quantic Dream. Upřímně radši si pustím dobrý film než se trápit 5 hodin s quick time eventy. Hlavně málo psychopatický William Dafoe.

Feb 9, 2022Not as good as Heavy Rain or Detroit become human, it's boring in parts but still entertaining enough to finish

Jun 25, 2022Plot/Story itself is interesting enough to make you walk through to the end. But then again with Quantic Dream recipe, the execution is bad, story-telling is bad and gameplay is the worst as always. Any way I recommended to anyone who love story-teller games, it's worth playing just wait for sale.

Sep 10, 2023This game is really a masterpiece. The performance of Ellen Page, music, story, art management, director is extraordinary. Many times during the game my eyes filled with tears. These kinds of productions definitely need to proliferate. If possible, the continuation of this game should come.

Mar 23, 2019Although the actings on this game are interesting, the story and gameplay ruins it. The game lacks good aspects of games of the genre, and fails to deliver a fun and enjoyable gameplay

May 19, 2023The acting and music are great for obvious reasons (Page, Dafoe, Zimmer). The graphics are fine. The story is adequate. But the whole experience is wrecked by awful control mechanics. Beyond: Two Souls was released two years after Uncharted 3 and Witcher 2, both third-person perspectives with good movement and camera control; how did this pass playtesting?

Aug 16, 2020This game is terrible, tries too much and does nothing new. The mechanic with the spirit was decent but the story is **** and some of the plots are horrible.

CD-ActionFeb 4, 2016For me the most important feature of this remaster is the inclusion of the optional chronological mode. It makes the story a bit less flashy but way easier to comprehend. [01/2016, p.65]

Playstation Official Magazine UKJan 23, 2016Shaky at second glance, but deserves the PS4 promotion. Remix mode and stats screens provide a fresh way into Jodie's story, should you revisit it. [Jan 2016, p.95]

Jan 13, 2016Beyond: Two Souls would've fared a lot better if it had even more visual detail, other control options and extra content to make it more like a director's cut. As it stands, though, it's a great conversion of a pretty good Quantic Dream development, mind its storytelling issues and quick-time event gameplay. Plus, it won't kill your wallet being priced for only $30. That's something even invisible deities can appreciate.
