    Beyond two souls remastered is just as good if not better than the original game thanks to chronological order it makes it so much easier to be immersed into the story of the main character Jodie.

    Great actors like Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page nail their roles perfectly the game makes you want to play it straight from start to finish without any breaks in between.

    Its nice and simple to get around each level to you never really feel lost during game play .

    After playing this game, I must say that it's fantastic. It pulls you in multiple directions, simultaneously. The acting, story telling and last but not least, the technology; all superb. I often found myself taking multiple screen shots and video clips, so I could remember the experience. Much like I've done in all of the Uncharted Games.

    To the people behind this emotional tycoon that instantly makes you reminisce your time spent in the world upon completion. I applaud you. I respect you. I urge you, bring us back to this world. I truly hope that I can revisit this landscape someday. Thank you for giving me this experience.

    Pros: Atmosphere, Story telling, Emotional Grip, Acting, Technology/Graphical Prowess, 'A true journey'

    Recommendations: Expand on the combat and make the movement for humans a bit more freelanced and fluid.

    I registered just to say that this game is awesome lol. Just like what others say that it's really better if it's in chronological order. I just have a few problems with the camera which sometimes don't want to look at things that i want to look at and I just hope they added a few game mechanics in the game rather that just pushing certain qte buttons to progress but overall the story wasI registered just to say that this game is awesome lol.     David Cage's next game after the success of Heavy Rain has had mixed response with good reason. I really enjoyed his games and I like this one as well. I've always been a fan of cinematic gameplay and this one has it. Ellen Page, and Willem Dafoe were great characters in this one as well.

    Beyond: Two Souls accomplishes the ultimate goal that it's game director set out to achieve. That was to tell a compelling story, that is also more interactive than the average game. Quantic Dreams not only gave us a compelling story with many branching paths and alternate endings, but also gave us interesting characters, who's voice actors and portrayals are knocked clean out of the ballBeyond: Two Souls accomplishes the ultimate goal that it's game director set out to achieve.     This game is really a masterpiece. The performance of Ellen Page, music, story, art management, director is extraordinary. Many times during the game my eyes filled with tears. These kinds of productions definitely need to proliferate. If possible, the continuation of this game should come.

    I never played it on PS3 and I went in totally blind which I'm glad I did, I knew nothing about the plot and it all unfolded in front of me. It was scary, sad, happy and moving all at the same time. Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page put in great performances which really helped push the story. The PS4 remaster sees a bump in resolution and a big jump in performance, turning in a solid 30fpsI never played it on PS3 and I went in totally blind which I'm glad I did, I knew nothing about the plot and it all unfolded in front of me.     excelente juego. historia atrapante de comienzo a fin, algunos pequeños detalles en la jugabilidad pero nada q arruine la experiencia final. digan lo que digan de David sus juegos son increíbles.

    Great story, great characters, and I didn't mind linearity like others. If you really love movies like I do then you would like the cinematic feel of this game.

    I really cant give less score than 10 to this artistic videogame masterpiece! I found only positives. Story is such embracing, that I was thrilled and nearly cried at the end of the game. I created this profile for review of Detroit: Become Human and I decided to also review this.
    + Story: very strong and embracing deep story.

    + Characters: Great characters background, great division of villians and protagonists.

    Very long time I tried to find some negatives, but I could not. Probably only negative is that B:TS was originally released on PS3 and David Cage did not before released on PS3 Detroit: Become Human. I am following David Cage work since Fahrenheit and I think B:TS is his opus magnum and no other game story he will create will be able to overcome B:TS. I think in this sense, B:TS is his curse, as it is seen on case of Detroit: Become Human which I gave only 7/10 score.
    I fully recommend this game to everyone!
    PS: Maybe I found one negative, movements of player character is a bit annoying.    … Expand

    The fact this game actually made me feel something is phenomenal. On top of the graphics. I respect the game's style as well. It's something different and refreshing in my opinion.

    Beyond Two Souls is at the same time, amazing and boring. The graphics look better than most of the games in this gen (PlayStation 4, Xbox One), the story is one of the best i've ever saw in a game but the gameplay is annoying and the options you make doesn't change the story like they did in Heavy Rain.

The good things: Story (Remixed version), Graphics/visuals for 2013 year. The bad things: camera and controls, I hate the "drunk cam" or action-cam in many of scenes, completely unnecessary and should have had an option to be turned off in settings.I played this game just recently (I know, right?) and wanted to share my opinions.I got it for free through PS+, so thank you Sony for that. Another downside is the LACK of settings. You dont have any quality/accessibility or disability controls, you cannot change anything gameplay related apart from "i never played/i played video games before" option, which is not helpful.
    Otherwise story is good, I did not like the "jumping timelines" aspect at all, it did not feel better than remixed version which is chronological. Cool game, hope to see more of it in future.    … Expand

    i dont get the Negative ratings for this game...

    it is an important game with an important Story, the theories of the game are thinkable & acceptable, all the spent emotion for this game are noticeable, ellen page was right, it was not appreciated...

    at least im happy cuz my score made the rating from 7.9 to 8 : )

    It's been 7 years and I have finally touched that masterpiece. After playing RDR2 or Witcher III , I didn't think anything could make me so touched with the story. Yes , there are some problems with repetitive gameplay and poor game design, however the story just takes in on the BEYOND level!

    Both Heavy Rain and this game are absolutely awesome. I preferred HR slightly more, but boy do the people at Quantic Dreams know how to make a game! All the finer details that gamers complain about of games today cannot be said of these two. Instant classics of mine that should really have rated higher by critics.

    Se me hace un gran juego con una excelente historia así mismo como Heavy Rain vale la pena comprarlo para la nueva generación, es una manera buena de ver este titulo a 1080 y disfrutarlo al máximo

    From what I've read its either "I hate it" or "I love it" and for me I can definitely say: I love it! Its one of the best games I ever played. I still can't decide if "The Last of Us" has the best story or "Beyond: Two Souls". I think due to this story its even better than "Heavy Rain". Don't get me wrong "Heavy Rain" was awesome but "Beyond: Two Souls" takes    Love it. Love it. Love it.

I sincerely hope "Beyond: Two Souls" will have a remastered version for whatever console we will have in 50 years because it would be a shame to miss this title in the future!

    А мне нравится как Кейдж рассказывает истории, и какие смыслы в них вкладывает, круто получается не всегда, но в BEYOND: TWO SOULS на мой взгляд получилось отлично.

    I played Beyond Two Souls PS4 in May 2017 and I didn't know earlier that it is sooo awesome game!!! I love it so much that it is one of the best games I have ever played! (and I play games since 1987!) Amazing graphics, incredible genius story!!! Just simply go and buy and play this game!!! The story is so great like MGS2, MGS3 great!!!     After playing Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls was kind of a dissapointment for me at first. It takes
    a different approach to storytelling than it's predecessor. When playing and making decisions you kinda feel forced by the game onto a certain path (especially with romance). Even though I found myself not liking some of the characters, I grew some sympathy for them after completing the game    After playing Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls was kind of a dissapointment for me at first. It takes
    a different approach to storytelling than it's predecessor. When playing and making decisions you kinda feel forced by the game onto a certain path (especially with romance). Even though I found myself not liking some of the characters, I grew some sympathy for them after completing the game few times and getting the platinum trophy. The ending teases us with some kind of sequel, but it seems it's never going to happen after fan dissapointment with this title.

    Conclusion:
    > interesting story in an alternative world where humanity makes contact with different kind of entities
    > nice action scenes in QTE style gameplay
    > high quality soundtrack (especially during action scenes)
    > next generation graphics for that era, in particular great character models (based on real actors)
    > mostly meaningless choices, sometimes they are even ignored by the next chapters (which is a very big downgrade from great branching paths in Heavy Rain)    … Expand

    it deserves 10. its one of best games in history of gaming. Great Story, Great Game Play, Great Motion Capture. after finishing the game i was talking about the events for many hours

    This game is a masterpiece. I wasn't expecting too much, but the incredible story, JODIE, the visuals, the intuitive gameplay are so amazing, you wouldn't want to miss this! :)

    I think this remastered version is much better than the original in the aspects of timeline, game functons, graphics, etc. If you have PS4, you should play it whether you buy it or borrow it.

    Perfection. An absolutely captivating story, great development for the characters, and fun/interesting gameplay. Not to mention that it's easily one of the best looking games this generation, despite being "just a remaster." An absolute must play.

    For me the most important feature of this remaster is the inclusion of the optional chronological mode. It makes the story a bit less flashy but way easier to comprehend. [01/2016, p.65]

    Beyond: Two Souls would've fared a lot better if it had even more visual detail, other control options and extra content to make it more like a director's cut. As it stands, though, it's a great conversion of a pretty good Quantic Dream development, mind its storytelling issues and quick-time event gameplay. Plus, it won't kill your wallet being priced for only $30. That's something even invisible deities can appreciate.
