    Battlefield 1 is a great game, but the people giving it 10's are crazy or haven't played the game long enough. The single player is a solid 10. It's super fun, immersive and tells a great story... but it's pretty short. The graphics throughout the game are gorgeous, and everything is perfectly fluid.

    Incredibly boring. Takes like 10 hours per class level just to unlock a second gun. Snipers seem to be the only useful guns since WW1 guns were trash and do no damage.

    Wow!! This game is amazing. Since the launch of the new generation consoles there hasn't been a game that has exceeded my expectations until now. DICE has done a tremendous job at delivering wonderful product. We are taken back to The Great War in an immersive environment filled with jaw dropping gameplay.

    Great game! It reminds me of the older Battlefield & Medal of Honour games on PC.
    The game looks great; sounds great.
    The weapons are very satisfying.
    Battlefield is back, if this doesn't put CoD in the ground.......I don't know what will.

    I'm never really giving high scores like this but this game is a MUST buy. I played several offline missions and conquest online. AMAZING! The sounds, the feeling, the graphics, the gameplay, the diversity of weapons and vehicles. LOVE IT. It's really worth the score it gets now (8,8 user score). One of the best games i played in the last couple of years. Definately a 10 for me... wellI'm never really giving high scores like this but this game is a MUST buy.     The campaign is basically just a bunch of extended vehicle tutorials, getting you ready for multiplayer by forcing you to endure boring vehicular combat and set pieces.
    Multiplayer is literally just run around, get shot in the back. Run around, kill, kill, get shot in the back.

    O melhor FPS de todos os tempos. Famoso ''COD KIller'', veio pra destruir, concorrente ao GOTY sem dúvidas. Parou com a palhaçada de futurismo e voltou à época de ouro, primeira guerra mundial.

    Die Kampagne ist nicht schlecht für einen Multiplayer Titel, jedoch niemals mit einem klassischen Single FPS zu vergleichen. Grafik ist top. Der Multiplayer Part ist für Anfänger unspielbar, leider. Wahrscheinlich weil gerade so viele Pros spielen.

    This is a great game! I really am enjoying every single minute online with it, and I know it can only get better in the near future! Never thought I would enjoy a WWI game this much!

    Another generic FPS online game, this one with a WW1 gimmick. These have been done to death in recent years and the obligatory mountain of DLC is extortionate.

    In my opinion this is now the best Batllefield ever! Here are reasons:

    ●The story actually is quite decent
    ●The gameplay introduces new things to the franchise
    ●Graphics are absolutely stunning
    ●Its set in WW1 (Though it was a sad tragedy:(
    ●It looks better than Infinite Warfare

    Simply put, this game is the best FPS I've ever played. After almost a year of online play, I still find myself amazed at some of the action that can take place at any given time in matches. The last time I felt this way about a game was COD: WAW, and this game far surpasses that. Hope this franchise can continue to keep this up going forward (Battlefield: Hardline was a misstep, IMHO).Simply put, this game is the best FPS I've ever played.     Battlefield 1 is the latest entry in the long running Battlefield francise. This game is supposed to be set in WW1. But you'll get confused and forget what era this game is supposed to be set in since everyone is running around with SMGs and LMGs that were never used in WW1.

    For real, though. This is another content lacking, unbalanced DICE shooter with 4-5 hours worth of gameplay since    Battlefield 1 is the latest entry in the long running Battlefield francise. This game is supposed to be set in WW1. But you'll get confused and forget what era this game is supposed to be set in since everyone is running around with SMGs and LMGs that were never used in WW1.

    For real, though. This is another content lacking, unbalanced DICE shooter with 4-5 hours worth of gameplay since the campaign is only 1-2 hours long and the multiplayer is barely worth playing since you'll die the moment you spawn in by some sniper, tank or bomber plane. If you reach rank 3 with all classes well you're pretty much done with the game since you don't get any more weapons untill rank 10. Which means you must grind away for hours and hours on the same 9 maps using the same weapons and vehicles over and over untill you're stupid enough to reach rank 10 and get 1 more weapon.

    There's also no variety in the soldiers. Even Star Wars Battlefront has more variety in the Stormtroopers and Rebels. Here they all look the same.

    Oh, and France and Russia 2 key factions in WW1 are locked behind a paywall. Meanwhile, America is in the base game although they didn't join the war untill late 2017.

    Like I said, the campaign is a boring, 1-2 hour experience. With no interesting main characters except for T.E Lawrence. So, do we get to play as him and experience epic adventure though the Middle East? Nope. Instead of actually playing as an interesting character we get to play as some random woman who was part of some tribe. So I bought this game just to play as an idol of mine. And it turns out he's just a side character with 10 or so minutes of screen time, Even the Lawrence of Arabia skins for the multiplayer is locked behind the deluxe edition paywall.

    So, I don't and probably never will recommend Battlefield 1. Just buy Verdun if you want a fun WW1 shooter with standard issue rifles and trench warfare. Because Battlefield 1 has none of those things.    … Expand

    You’ll take to the ground, air, and shadows…
    You’ll be a tank searching for a friend… you’ll drive a tank trying to take control of the land, take to the sky as a gambler with a hint that maybe things didn’t happen the way he says it did, stealth through areas as a woman trying to sabotage war plans and destroy an armored train, and an Australian runner slicing through the trenches…
    The campaign in total will take about 5 an a half hours long to complete give or take, all depending on how often you die..
    And you will... a lot, as this game is brutal even on its normal difficulty…
    If you’re an aggressive players, you’re not going to do too well in all but 1 chapter as you can only take about 3 hits and you’re dead… and the checkpoints can be complete garbage at time...
    Especially considering how large locations are…
    For the most part, this isn’t just a run and gun linear shooter… when you touch ground you’re on a massive battlefield crawling with enemies…
    You have the choice to mark them all from a vantage point... sneak around them all with distractions or just avoiding them, sneak behind them for a quiet melee… get involved in a gun fight, the option for the most part is up to you, but there are many sections that force you to clear the area of enemies..
    Gunplay in this game can be pretty frustrating as again... 3 shots and you’re dead…
    all cover can be destroyed including houses, you do regenerate health, but it feels like an eternity before it will start, and hit detection in this game is far from perfect…
    Keep in mind I’m talking single player here.. Meaning internet connection isn’t at fault...
    Many times my bullets would go right through enemies doing no damage at all…
    But I only found this to be the case in single player, no noticeable problems in multiplayer...
    There are also annoying enemy variants like flamethrower guys and heavy armor guys who are invulnerable to bullets…
    You can kill the heavy with a grenade, but the flamethrower guy is invulnerable against bullets and grenades... he can only be killed by shooting his tank…
    Which you’d think a grenade would be fine for this, but no.. it’s not… really breaking immersion throwing in video gamey enemies like this when everything else feels so real…
    The camera would also get a little awkward when I would try to run and find cover, which is a real frustration when you’re taking part in a section of the chapter with tanks or the armored train…
    Especially since again, the checkpoints are so unforgiving and they can all instakill your character…
    These sections take time.. A lot of time… and patience... as well as a handful of other stealthy sections that can sometimes feel like they’re plucked out of a hitman game with their punishment for detection…
    These levels are absolutely gorgeous though, and I cared about all 6 characters during my brief time with them…
    The single player gameplay just unfortunately lacks a hint of polish which stops the campaign from ever wowing me…
    What did wow me however was the multiplayer…
    The maps are well designed.. The mayhem of zeppelins, tanks, horses, and airplanes is almost magic…
    You never really think of perspective in multiplayer games... people are usually for the most part doing the same thing as you, but better or worse…
    A bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off…
    Here however, it’s such a great feeling to sit back and realize that everything you see going on, is another person having an entirely different perspective than you are…
    Controlling airships.. Planes…taking them out... riding horseback into a battle zone…
    It really breathes life into the competitive gaming realm…
    Battlefield essentially has 6 different game types…
    domination with is your typical capture and hold, rush witch is an attack and defend game, team death match where most kills wins… , war pigeons which is essentially a capture the flag match.. Get the pigeon, release the pigeon, and stop enemies from doing the game.
    conquest, which is capture and hold but with complete mayhem going on… a true feeling of war…
    and finally operations, which gives a back story to each of the fighting locations.. Here you either try to gradually capture all sections by capturing and holding 1 to 3 separate spots of a map or defend these sections by filling a kill counter...
    Battlefield offers something here for everyone… a solid single player experience good enough to stand on its own... and a brilliant multiplayer that brings the multiplayer genre to new heights...
    I give battlefield 1...

    What do you guys see that I don't? There is nothing special about this game, it's actually a worse FPS than the older games such as CoD Modern Warfare 1 and 2. It's decent, it's a good game. There is nothing great about it whatsoever.

    Battlefield One is one of the best first person shooters ever made. The gameplay is incredibly immersive and rewarding. The only improvements could be made with a better progression system and a more engaging story.

    But ping on ps4 is awful, and EA dont give a **** about this, greedy ****, screw you, EA! Do something, help your customers, you lazy bastards! Its only your fault, another net games running perfectly! At the start all was ok, but 6 months ago ping started increase from 60 to 400!!! Its impossible play with ping 400!

    Firstly and most importantly I'll talk about the AI, it's probably the worst I've seen in an AAA game since the year 2000. The fact that the enemy charge at you, constantly shooting with no tactics is painful. While driving a tank you have an near infinite number of enemies charging and shooting at your impervious tank, they cannot do any damage, they do not take cover and are happy to die. The artillery that can actually do damage, fires at very consistent patterns allowing you to reverse the tank to avoid hits and move forward again to shoot them. You rinse and repeat the same tactics with every artillery. I think the developers should be ashamed of their work.

    As for game play mechanics, being able to pop out instantly, repair a tank that has taken multiple artillery shells hits by cranking a wrench is silly, but actually forgivable and you can allow that arcade mechanics. However, if a game does use silly arcade mechanics, do not use cut scenes that try to impart a serious note, it is ridiculous to attempt to impart the serious horrific nature of war alongside missions that have aircraft trying to take out Anti-Aircraft Guns.    … Expand

    EA and Dice made their marketing on the fact that it was about the 1st world war, where is it?
    France and Russia not there, automatic weapons everywhere, super tanks that go super fast.

    There's nothing from the 1st world war, and the worst is that to get the full game you have to spend 130 $/€.

    Pitiful.

    I haven't liked a FPS game this much since Medal Of Honor: Frontline on PS2. I love FPS games set in older wars. I don't like how a lot of FPS games are way too futuristic. The campaign is very good and I like how it's set up like small playable war stories, which could lead to more war story DLC later.     I had previously bought wwe2k17..I just sold that game today. why? Because after buying and playing battlefield 1, there is nothing else that I want to play. BF1 has just raised the standards of the shooter genre to a whole new level and in the process has blown call of duty out of the equation so R.I.P Cod. I instantly fell in love with bf1 during storm of steel (the intro mission). EAI had previously bought wwe2k17..I just sold that game today. why? Because after buying and playing battlefield 1, there is nothing else that I want to play. BF1 has just raised the standards of the shooter genre to a whole new level and in the process has blown call of duty out of the equation so R.I.P Cod. I instantly fell in love with bf1 during storm of steel (the intro mission). EA and DICE have captured ww1 so well and send us on an emotional rollercoaster. I used to work as a ww1 tour guide in france, teaching school children about the Great War but I think they might as well introduce the game in schools. The graphics are the best I have ever seen, showing breathtaking landscapes, animations (explosions are just amazing) and its representation of no mans land is astounding. They have paid attention to every little detail, even having loads of trench rats runnin around.The music will tug at your heart and soul and drown you into the game as if you were literally in there. Gameplay is very fluid and rewarding. There is also a very well made campaign and multiplayer is top of pile great stuff. This game will literally be my number 1 game for a few years. We all know that EA will keep releasing updates and dlcs and I will definitely be buying the season pass.
    I can see a few negative reviews on metacritic and they have no solid ground. These are just trolls and don't pay attention to them    … Expand

    Amazing graphics, awesome gameplay. any FPS fan should get it. My favourate game of 2016 so far. I hope this is a good omen for the start of game releases in winter this year.

    I am giving this game a 5/10. The multiplayer is excellent casual fun, but single player is awful which I guess is to be expected of EA. I can't believe DICE did not learn anything from Battlefield 4 single player. The AI is terrible! So many times a AI airplane crashed into me killing me instantly, enemies spawning in front of me and enemies that just stand there. Maybe they should justI am giving this game a 5/10. The multiplayer is excellent casual fun, but single player is awful which I guess is to be expected of EA. I can't believe DICE did not learn anything from Battlefield 4 single player. The AI is terrible! So many times a AI airplane crashed into me killing me instantly, enemies spawning in front of me and enemies that just stand there. Maybe they should just stick to making multiplayer. Last thing, the game mentions real world facts of WW1 and sets a realistic feel but it is really over the top and no way realistic.     The gameplay for this game is really good, however the campaign is broken up into six different small campaign stories. They have a good story to them and it is entertaining. For multiplayer, it seems really unrealistic at times in the fact that u can hit someone in the head three times and they shoot u once and u die, as of now there r limited amount of game modes and maps

    This game has good graphics and the classic battlefield modes. i like how they went back in time. This is much better than the future. Most shooter games focus in the future, like COD. This is a game changer. not just the graphics are amazing, but the views are one thing you will surely recognize. This game focus more on the players skill, then buying weapons and gadgets.

    Looks nice. Plays okay. Multiplayer got boring really quick. Played mostly conquest and TDM, but I'm just not into it. Too many "what the hell just happened" deaths, players spawning all over the place, mediocre classes/builds, and not a fan or the vehicle mechanics. The in-game map needs work too.

Yes the graphics are amazing and yes everything looks and sounds awesome, but the MAIN element here is the movement and gunplay - BOTH sucks, you get stuck trying to vault everything, you get oneshotted by a pistol after shooting someone 7-10 times with an smg... this happens CONSTANTLY, I have never played a shootergame where ****This is by far the worst FPS game experience you can have.     All of it is due to the game engine DICE insists on using, every SINGLE game they have made on Frostbite have had **** like this happen, getting shot once youre around a corner, getting shot after from enemies you cannot see and they cannot see you, shooting someone to 1 hp and then getting instantkilled by them from an inferior weapon... All of this makes the experience horrible to a person who have tried what it feels like to actually be able to rely on who shoots first and where you hit.
    Only positive thing about gameplay is in its singleplayer.    … Expand

    Amazing game. DICE managed to create an immersive massive multiplayer combat experience. The WW1 setting is interesting and unique. Game suffers from severe team balance issues.

After goodness knows how many futuristic Call of Duty titles, the pre-unsuccessful Battlefield franchise bounces back with a gritty, realistic, and well-crafted World War 2 shooter that has put the CoD franchise on the backfoot for now. BF1's multiplayer is just as good as Battlefield's multiplayer has always been, withDice's Battlefield 1 is a true return to form for the WW2 FPS genre. After goodness knows how many futuristic Call of Duty titles, the pre-unsuccessful Battlefield franchise bounces back with a gritty, realistic, and well-crafted World War 2 shooter that has put the CoD franchise on the backfoot for now. BF1's multiplayer is just as good as Battlefield's multiplayer has always been, with tanks, planes, blimps and intense infantry combat to boot. The only "meh" part of the game is the campaign, which has always been a weak link in the Battlefield series, that quite frankly needs to get fixed now. Call of Duty nailed the campaign in Modern Warfare, why can't the developers at Dice hit the bar right too?

    The single player is pretty great. It's vignettes into the war from a few different perspectives. They are sometimes infuriating (Avanti Savoia) and sometimes wildly fun and made me cheer out loud (The Runner, Friends in High Places).

    If you want another Battlefield, this is the game for you. If you want realistic WWI combat and a deep complex dive into the war with a single player campaign and more than 12 hours of offline gameplay, do not buy.    … Expand

Conquest and Rush is apart of the BF staple for fans, with also Domination and Team Deathmatch as a reach for Call of Duty fans and other shooters but not as creative. Even its War Pigeons is lackluster, but what sells it is Operations; a hour long pseudo-meta game that sets up attackers and defenders and wages control over points with only three attack attempts. It is the coolest idea and deserves alot of praise for this.

    With all this praise there are some issues needing to be addressed of why it stays to a 7/10. Microtransactions, loot boxes and season passes loom over this game much like the previous and have an effect that hurts this grand scale of war play entirely. The campaign is mediocre that feels more like a glorified tutorial than an actual campaign. There are also some issues with network connections and servers as well. In the end however Battlefield 1 delivers a exhilarating experience of war that deserves your time, just be cautious with your money.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. My first impression was: ok, this game looks pretty good. But then i started to look closer. So where do i start...
    Weapons:
    Lets start with the new weapon custimization, which actually doesnt exist. As a player you have to choose between several prebuilt weapons with different attachments, which only purpose is to make the amount of weapons not looking miserable. Your are able to change the zoom and can sometimes choose betweens 2 different iron sights on the most smgs or self loading rifles, but thats everything (sorry, but i wont count useless skins for weapons as custimization, which ill get into later on). So compared to Battlefield 4 and the old weapon system, i was really disappointed. And overall, being in the menu it doesnt feel like battlefield at all.
    Vehicles:
    Like in Destiny pvp, dice cant really come to a conclusion on how to properly adjust your vehicle maintenance. From several changes (from more direct repair, to less direct repair, to faster direct repair,...)- And trying to solve this will definitely go on, because this paper tanks make too many people sit on a hill with their artillery truck, getiing maybe 15 kills in one round of conquest, which is a goddamn waste of a tank. The tanks sidearms are mostly useless, resulting in an 6 space A7V tank with only the driver reliing on the ground troops. And as many tank drivers realized, you cant tank that much and without protection, youre done in less than 30 seconds, resulting in people camping on hills with tanks.
    Gameplay:
    At best i start with something positive this time. Dice did actually make some improvements on the gameplay. They erased bugs which were existing since the release of battlefield...after several month. Everyone who played conquest will have experienced the medic bug, which hasnt made you able to properly use your weapons upon getting revieved. But sadly, i still have this bug, like many other players, and since reviving is key part in battlefield this HAS to work 100%.
    Overall the gameplay, beside the bugs, feels pretty sharp. Fluent movement, physics, is actually how i wanted it to be. Another part of the new Bf game is the behemoth, the most retarded feature in a battlefield game so far. When a team gets behind too much, it recieves a huge armored tank, train, airship or ship, which are only annoying and the reason most players ambrace the new frontlines mode much more than oldsc...oh wait, newschool conquest.
    Graphics:
    They look very good, so does the atmosphere.
    UI:
    Battlefield 1 features a new way of selecting the teams starting vehicles, which sucks incredibly, seriously. Go watch Bf4 and then compare to BF1, youll see yourself. For changing or customizing the vehicle of your choice, there has to be one available, which is retarded and gets me mad every...time.
    The maps:
    For battlefield-standard, they are really small. Too small. And thats why you only have maximum 2 tanks per team, which is sad, compared to BF4s 5 tanks. Nevertheless the design itself looks pretty nice on most maps, especially forest of argonne is one of the best maps ive ever seen, despite its infantry only and also small.
    The game-modes:
    It features the classic conquest, hardcoremodes and normal deathmatch. Dice added throughout some new game-modes which were actually awesome, but removed them after one month and havent brought them back in. Which is one reason the game doesnt offer enough content in terms of game modes. So nearly one year after the release, im still missing modes like "airfight only", "tankfight only",...
    Everything else:
    Battlepacks! Beside the behemoth, the most useless stuff ever in a game. They offer skin variations for weapons, and they are actually the only longterm motivation bf1 offers, despite the fact that they are useless and not motivating at all. Which shows in massive decrease in player count (visit bftracker for the numbers). Too many players took a look at the good graphics, played for a month, stating the game is awesome and gave the game 9/10, which it doesnt deserve. Since you are able to unlock nearly any weapon within the first 10 hours, the game has no longterm motivation at all.
    That being said, the release of upcoming dlcs is taking ages, not to mention urgent bugfixes and improvements, which are still missing. The community sucks really hard. Since many people played bf1 because the last CoD also sucked, you get too many teammates which dont revive, supply or play the objective (or spot enemies, which also doesnt work properly (key feature of the Bf series, but hey the CoD guys give 9/10 for the looks, so who cares)).
    Last word:
    The game could get 9/10 without any problem and the potential it offers is incredible. But still it wont get me the Bf-feeling from BF4 or the earlier games, maybe because the real Bf veterans are still playing the old games. So if the game would really be 9/10,like many people claim, then why is this massive decrease in player count?!    … Expand

There may be a moment of two soldiers spotting each other from a distance and each simultaneously deciding not to kill each other, followed by a mission where it is necessary to mow down countless German soldiers in order to complete the objective. The gameplay, however, is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. If the story was tonally inconsistent and incoherent, the gameplay never strays from monotonous, boring, and dull. There are very few changes to structure or form between this game and other generic, by the numbers FPS games. The shooting mechanics are very simple games of whack-a-mole, but in this aspect I do feel as though Battlefield 1 is superior to Infinite Warfare. It doesn't have the messy, over-the-top wall running or jump pack mechanics, so it's more simplistic. This results in the moment to moment gameplay being cleaner than Infinite Warfare's messy and chaotic battles. However, this works against the game in another aspect because despite not having the lows of Infinite Warfare, it cannot embrace the highs. When the movement mechanics and more frantic gunplay in Infinite Warfare work together, it can be fun and entertaining, despite how little time is spent in which the mechanics do work together. Similarly, instead of many missions being terrible and one or two being decently fun and providing some interesting moments, Battlefield 1 pumps out consistently mediocre missions without fail, and never delivers anything beyond the most basic experiences required of a shooting genre. Interlocking mechanics and physics allow for some magical moments that can be entertaining, until the repetitive missions and unoriginal story sink in. Really it's up to personal preference which is worse. I personally believe that Infinite Warfare is the inferior game because for the first few hours of the game, Battlefield 1 can be pretty fun, but for me, it got old way too fast for me to give it anything more than a 4 out of 10.… Expand

    This game has been out for almost a year and already has so much DLC but the fact that I'm still experiencing regular glitches/server issues is just unacceptable. The lack of coop in the campaign is also very disappointing considering the let down of the BF4 campaign. Overall, the game feels fun but that never lasts longer than a round or two because of the ugly flaws.

Battlefield 1 may be the biggest game in terms of scope and aspiration but that doesn't mean it's the best. If you think you're having fun you're lying to yourself. If you use the up button to put your gas mask on, sometimes (not always) you find yourself grabbing a grenade or pulling out a syringe instead depending on your accessory. The game seems to have trouble remembering what the up button is for.. As mentioned by others, you can get blocked by a small object yet walk through some larger items so very little consistency there..
    The whole game seems to have been rushed out with an eye to making the big Christmas profit deadline and with seemingly little thought given to making the game playable. However there is no excuse for the developers poor attention to spawning. This is so bad and is simply a continuation of the poor respawning of previous games, only much much worse. You can get spawned right in front of an enemy in front of tanks in fires you name it and the developers appear to have ignored it. The result you can have several respawns before spawning safely. Not all the time but enough to want to make you play something else quite often. That and the fact that the game is sooo slow to put you into a match and or take you back to main menu if you quit. (I assume that's a punishment for quitting) in fact it's so slow to do anything that you have to wonder if the developers really sat down and thought it through    … Expand

    Frames per second constantly drop to about 25 or less
    Menus lag like crazy in between rounds.
    Visuals are sub par for 2016 battlefield. Literally any BF game in the last 10 years looks better.
    Charging $20 for a couple of icons and skins that shouldve come with the base game.
    EA strikes again.

    I don't get how people keep playing this game with all the issues it has. So far, Overwatch provides a much more solid online multiplayer experience in all the aspects.

    You know you have bought a faulty product when they release a patch with over 100 "fixes" within weeks of the game going on sale. The silly thing is that after this patch, many of the most obvious faults in the game have still not been fixed !! This game could have been good, but sadly, it is rubbish.

    Still reasonably solid, but not particularly fun or revolutionary. Snipers and Tanks will usually rule the roost, but if you can't overcome it, you are probably not good enough.

Also, why did DICE make the rear facing machine guns on planes so powerful? Those machine guns do so much more damage than the actual machine guns on the fighter planes that it is nearly impossible to destroy a plane you're chasing if that plane has even a decent gunner on board. Why do you have to unlock pistols for every class, and why do different classes have different pistols? They're just pistols. Let me get a decent pistol for the scout class; the class is already bad enough for close quarters combat. The final scout rifle you unlock is a joke; it's no more powerful than the ones you unlock at level 1, though it shoots one bullet before you have to reload. Anti air guns, even if they don't hit your plane cause it to bounce around as if it is entering a sharknado. I'm sure I could go on, but as I've indicated, the game is not perfect; and some of the 'balancing' Dice has done since the beta (the light tank, it shoots so incredibly slow and is so much weaker now that I personally find it nearly useless) has actually made certain features that were overpowered so underpowered that they've become useless.… Expand

Encima el multijugador es un Battlefront 2, simple, casual, sin personalizacion, pocas armas, pocos mapas y dlcs abusivos. Arruinaron mi saga favorita, gracias EA.

    The multiplayer is an utter mess right now. I can't select friends that are playing and jump in their game. I can't create a squad for my friends to join. Is this a temporary glitch. The game looks like it will be great otherwise.

    I'm not very good at this game really, but my buddy Tone is. I really like it, I play it a lot but I just can't get good. Still the best game out right now, graphics, sounds, environment are all super cool. Just wish I was good at it.

    I don't see the appeal. This genre just feels like the EXACT SAME GAME being pumped out for the past 20 or so years. I borrowed this one from a friend, it's just the exact same boring stuff as all the other FPS games.

    Pero no todo es bueno, y recordemos un titulo de EA sacaran hasta el ultimo beneficio de esto, y es un modelo de negocio inaceptable, un juego recordato, es decir un juego basado en la 1 guerra mundial y no te dejan jugar con el ejercito frances o ruso? :(
    Inaceptable, un "premium pass" por $49.99. No recomiendo la compra de este premium pass, no apoyemos este modelo de negocio.
    El juego me lo consegui por $40 , no recomiendo pagar mas por este titulo.

TDM and the new mode Warpidgeons are really lacklustre, feeling like tacked on afterthoughts - the maps are particularly bad on these modes. Let's see what DIce brings with the dlc, maybe the game can get up to an 8 or 9 with better maps, more modes, more weapons and better balance between classes...all in all a big disappointment (as bf4 was so good - why get rid of the bits that worked???) - however, still worth buying and at least they didn't go into space...    … Expand

    Multiplayer is unfortunately completely random and is in need of some serious balancing. Camping is too easily rewarded here, AA guns take down planes from across the map, tanks are taken out way to easy by infantry. The dreadnaught is also way to easy to kill with boats and cannons from offshore. Please fix multiplayer!

The reason why I give a 7 is because this game has serious problems between menus, specially during battle. at this day (mar/17/17) EA released an UPDATE, giving new maps, etc, but you know what?     I have this game 3 weeks after release by recommended friends, and none of F***ERS told about the flaws. I cursed those Mofos.
    I hope you find this review to consider before you buy.

    I have not played battlefield in a long time so i decided to put down this game as one of the games i wanted to get and i eventually got it and to be honest it left a lot to be desired and it wasn't the game i was expecting it to be. Here are my likes and dislikes about the game:

    -The sound effects are great. If you fired in a enclosed space your rifle will be louder whereas if you were to shoot in an open field you can hear the sound spread across the lands.
    -The cut scene visuals are some of the best i have ever seen.
    -Friends in high places is my favorite story as you get to battle in the air.

    Dislikes:
    -There are a multitude of war stories to play and different characters for each war story. Since this is the case you don't get attached to the characters or the story at all. This was something new to me as i have never played so many characters in a game. I tried to get attached to them and the story, but i just couldn't. Eventually it got to the point where i just wanted to be done with the game because i didn't want to play the game anymore than i needed to. I think there should've been one main story.
    -When the history of the war is displayed they don't give you enough time to read it. So if you are a slow reader you are going to have to read faster.
    -not being able to pause during most cut scenes was kind of annoying, but it wasn't a huge turn off by any means.

    With all this being said the lack of bonding between characters and the short story is why i gave this game a 7/10.    … Expand

If you’re like me a love history knowing the historical facts about how truly brutal and terrifying trench warfare is would make you super excited before this game came out. Sadly you can’t really make sitting in a trench for weeks into a game, but what they did came out fantastic.

    The game actually has a story, unlike typical FPS stories where you follow one character who somehow is at every important battle in history you follow five different characters all from different countries, all different styles of gameplay. You follow the British tank crew, an American pilot, an Italian soldier who plays like a walking tank, a Australian sharpshooter, and a Syrian I believe that is hanging with Lawrence of Arabia. This stories are great little snippits of the war and all play out as if you were watching a short film with these characters. The story isn’t super long, but because the stories are all so different in gameplay it acts as a tutorial to the multiplayer.

    That what everyone gets Battlefield for the the multiplayer and I must say holy **** is that fun. I personally love this multiplayer because it really captures the hecticness of war. There are times you are in firefight were bullets and explosions are happening all around you, and then out of the blue some crazy **** on a horse comes charging at you, and you forgot to reload… This gameplay seems authentic enough to how battles were fought except the zero trench warfare. This is just me, but I do with there was either a story mission or a beginning of a multiplayer segment where you must jump out of the trenches and full on charge at the enemy encampment. Load in your pants dropping fun. The game only had a couple of hiccups in the multiplayer, and the vehicles never to seem to be overpowering, but if utilized correctly can be very dangerous. I personally had a great tank crew for over half a match we were the scourge of the battlefield. Until the enemy team had us outnumbered two to one in fire power, but it still was just the greatest experience having that badass tank crew that can mop the floor with the enemy team. The game looks beautiful, with the guns seeming authentic honestly with the decade of WW2 shooters I only know that era of guns, and not so much The Great War era of weaponry.

    Overall if you’re looking for a fantastic large scale multiplayer look no further than Battlefield 1. If though you’re a more single player focused gamer I’d honestly say skip even if you’re into historical games or were excited by the trailers. The singleplayer is so short that it acts more like a tutorial than an actual single player experience. I personally hope World War 1 turns into the new thing FPS shooters milk because I’d love to see what they can do with that era. Until next time folks.    … Expand

    This is a very beautiful but mediocre game. The story mode is very short, the menus are very confusing and the multi-player mode is fun only for a short time. There is a big problem with team-balancing and there is no strategy, just a lot of players who rush to the enemies, only to get killed by a higher level sniper from miles away.

    This game looks amazing graphically, the weapons are pretty nice and the story mode isn't the best it has its good moments although it's short.The multiplayer should be enjoyable except it is not due to the fact that players can spend real life money to buy better weapons so the game is unbalanced.

    This was my first multiplayer game. At first, I didn't know subscription was needed to play online, and turns out I was using the 2-day free trial. The game is dead with many dead lobbies. Customization was lacking but understandable as, during WWI, there wasn't much of a choice. The campaign was very fun and I 100% completed the campaign.

Ебучего графона и обновлённым движком Фростбайт хоть жопой жуй!, но я пришёл поиграть и веселиться, а не орать как ебучий дегенерат. А по итогу мне подсовывают абсолютно неиграбельный высер! Почему физически нельзя с начала раунда просто бежать и убивать врагов один за другим, а вместо этого убивают меня?Ты получаешь от игры только физическую и моральную боль. Поиграв не более 2-3 часов мне хватило жопораздирания по горло. Это абсолютно точно не тот Battlefield , который мы с вами так горячо любим, за экшен, веселые поездки, полёты, и т.д. В нормальных Battlefield когда вас убивают, вы не орёте не психуете, а воспринимаете это нормально. В нормальном battlefield, если у вас отличная команда, то вы реально можете затащить всю игру вчетвером, даже если вы находитесь в полной жопе, но не в этой игре! Здесь, если вы оказались с напарниками по оружию в жопе, то вас будут ебать до конца раунда до разрыва анального отверстия, а будет ебать вас всего один гандон за кусочком земли, и ничего у вас не получится сделать. Абсолютный Дисбаланс! Абсолютно мерзопакостный респавн игроков. Абсолютный Дисбаланс по оружию, т.е. какое-то прокаченное чмо, спокойно будет выносить новичка с другого мать вашу конца карты, а вы его и не увидите.А потому что у тебя сынок нету всего этого прокаченного оружия.
    Не покупайте эту игру, не тратьте свои кровные деньги. И знайте! Что последней лучшей battlefield , была Bad Company 2, т.к. она разрабатывалась специалистами игровой индустрии, а не ебучими шакалами менеджерами, и в ней грамотно созданы уровни.

    Excellent and unique multiplayer experience with great atmosphere and gameplay. Definitely one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had the joy of playing.

    Despite a very short campaign, Battlefield 1 still offers the best single-player experience in the series. Mix it with a huge, brilliant multi-player that the series is known for and you have an almost complete package. Definitely the best approach to World War 1 yet.
