Its a hardcore turn based game. High difficulty and the missions drag out. Thing is I'm on mission two and I hate this game. Developers are almost making excuses for producing games that are too hard play. Its like people do work and have lives so they cant spend massive amount of times on a crappy indie game. But tried to explain that to developers and they will get hostile.

This game has so much potential that I keep getting drawn back in. Then after a few hours of playing I realize I hate it. They try to make excuses for the difficulty by saying its meant to be that way and they don’t like hand holding. I’m sorry man. I’ve been playing strategy games since before many of them even were potty trained. There is difficult and their is absurd. I’ve been playing strategy games since before many of them even were potty trained. There is difficult and their is absurd. You can spend hours making landfall and conquering an area and before you can gather your thoughts and heal your forces, ooops 3 transport ships land with 7 bad guys at full health. Really!?!? This happens a lot and it’s not realistic. The bad guys continue to get extra men and you don’t. Your supposed to be part of this great army, but your have less troops then anyone you face. If you can ignore all that, the combat is actually fun. And so is the the grid based layout. This is why they get a 4 instead of a 1. Expand

Challenging but never as enjoyable as it could have. Battle Worlds: Kronos has fun moments, but many will find the difficulty curve far too frustrating. Poor console optimization means progression is often limited by a lack intuitive movement controls. This is for the hardcore strategy fans only.

Battle Worlds: Kronos is completely functional, even good by indie standards, but it just made me want to play other games. The story is not gripping and the neither is the gameplay.

Battle Worlds: Kronos is a game all about tactical unit distribution and the art of patience and preparation. Unfortunately, I have neither the art of preparation nor the virtue of patience. If you do have the aptitude required for a classic unit-based strategy game though, then definitely give Battle Worlds: Kronos a go. It’s certainly not for everyone, but it’s a well-polished package that has plenty to offer for fans of old school turn-based strategy.
