Aside from delivering an exquisitely detailed open-world, graphics and gameplay, Arkham Knight tells the most"I am Vengeance. I am the Knight. I AM BATMAN!" Are the words you'll repeat to yourself as you play through Rocksteady's Finale to the Batman Arkham Trilogy. 'Be The Batman' is the perfect tagline because that's exactly the experience I had with this masterpiece of a game. Aside from delivering an exquisitely detailed open-world, graphics and gameplay, Arkham Knight tells the most profound and thought-provoking Batman tale of all time!

    Rocksteady's first Batman game showed they know how to make a great game; transcending the Superhero genre. Arkham City showed they know how to utilise established mechanics and characters e.g The Joker to their highest potential. Arkham Knight shows that these guys COMPLETELY understand Batman as a public figure; a character, a symbol.

    In the end, Batman: Arkham Knight is the perfect Batman story, with complex characters, jaw-dropping twists, exhilarating quests, gargantuan exploration, creatively intricate puzzles, extensive variety and one hell of a soundtrack.

    Simply amazing. Breathtaking visuals, solid combat, great performances, and a gripping tale. Contrary to popular belief, the Batmobile is actually really fun and makes you feel even more like the Bat. There is nothing more exhilarating than diving off a skyscraper straight into the cockpit of the iconic car and saying "I'm Batman.."

    I don't usually like this kind of games, but this one is very catchy. He has a solid story with lots of options of action and the two main villains, makes us forget about how good was Joker. And the batmobile... WOW!

The story is captivating I've already played for four hours, and still really am enjoying it.The open world is huge, about three times the size of city's. It's fun to just run/fly/drive around, you don't even have to fight. The batmobile is a fun way to get around. You destroy all in your path as you drive around the streets of gotham. The one negative about the game is how much the game forces you to use the batmobile, especially the tank mode. Even the most fun of activities gets dull after constant usage. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous which is impressive, as the open world is huge, and there are no loading screens. There is the main story that is interesting and will keep you chugging along through this beautiful world.     Truly masterpiece and one of the best games in this generation. Amazing art, attention to details and great soundtrack. Arkham Knight is an outstanding game on almost every level.

    So far the game is absolutely amazing.! The new features work perfect with the arkham gameplay, the batmobile is probably the most fun and addictive vehicle to drive in any video game to date. The story is incredible, with so many epic moments, and the dual gameplay is just perfect. This is the game of the year and one of the best games in history.! Masterpiece.!

    I'm 6 hours in and I'm totally amazed by this game. Such love of details, gameplay brought to perfection, breathtaking visuals and cinema-like presentation . Batmobile is of course a question of taste thematically but I really welcome the gameplay innovation and variation it brings. So far the best current gen game I played next to The Witcher 3.

    I absolutely loved the game, I'm giving it a 10 as it hit all the things I love in a game. Suspense, action, difficulty, STORYLINE...Batman Arkham Night hit all the right buttons for me. I have beat the game and I'll probably play it again at a later time. Great game. If you like the batman serious or comics in general I consider this an absolute must play! Great Job Rocksteady and WB.

    Anyway, Arkham Knight to me has to be the finest entry in the series. The gameplay is what you come to expect from the Arkham games, fast, fluid and action packed, with various side missions to complete and the ability to use the Batmobile in conjunction with puzzles and main objectives makes it feel like an essential part of Batmans tools and not some gimmick! The story isn't as strong as Rocksteadys other outings, but it does the job well of telling a well crafted story. And the graphics is pure eye candy! The moment you "even the odd's" and then the Batmobile makes its first appearance, the detail is amazing and how it can chew through nearly anything is a blast. I would give it an 8 or 9, but because people are being unfair I'm going to give it a 10 to help "even the odds out" (pun intended).    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Graphically astounding, technically brilliant and compelling in both terms of gameplay and story - this is by far the best game of the Arkham series.

    Gotham looks wonderful. If you go somewhere like Grand Avenue with all the brightly coloured signs, it really shows how good they designed the world - they have the balance right between bright colours and darkness. In comparison with Arkham City, which was - comparatively - quite dull, Arkham Knight's Gotham looks incredible. Not only that, but it's easy to transverse. The new grapple boost allows for higher and faster gliding, so you can always get to your objective quickly. You can also have the Batmobile launch you into the air - again, making travelling across the map a lot easier. With the way that gliding and diving appears visually, it is also a pleasure to transverse.

    The gameplay still follows the same pattern as Arkham Asylum and City, but it has been improved. It feels a lot smoother, for one. It also feels a lot more precise than the other games in the series. There has also been the inclusion of Fear Takedowns, which allow up to five enemies to be taken out in a matter of seconds - as long as you get close enough without them seeing you.
    Some people would say that the Batmobile is "forced" on the player, but I disagree. It has brought something new in terms of gameplay to the series, and that is all. Of course Rocksteady would like to put an emphasis on it - but in all fairness, Batman is facing an army of unmanned tanks. What else do you expect him to do, apart from getting a tank of his own?
    The Batmobile handles well, and driving it is a lot of fun. I have no idea why people complain about it.
    Rocksteady have also incorporated an aspect of Arkham Origins - the crime scene reconstruction - which makes a welcome return. I enjoyed doing that in Origins, and was glad to see that you use it more frequently - and it has been improved, so it is more of a puzzle and less of a "scan the dots".

    Now about the story. One aspect of the series, which was present in Arkham Asylum - but not in City or Origins - was the horror factor. I was glad to see that it was back in Arkham Knight. The game has a good atmosphere, which gets pretty creepy at times. There are also several jump scares in the game, as well as a little comedy in there too. Joker's blood which was injected into Batman in Arkham City causes him to hallucinate the Joker occasionally - and he always has something amusing to say.
    Which brings me on to the next aspect of the story - the psychological factor. Arkham Knight seems to get into the head of Batman more so than the other games, or any of the films - and that's not just because there is part of the story set inside Batman's mind. It deals with the psychology of the Dark Knight which few mediums manage to do well. It also allows you to get to know the Joker's mind a lot better. Arkham Origins did this in a sense, when Joker was talking to Harleen Quinzel - but I have to say, one of my favourite parts of this game was when you get to play as the Joker (in a sense).
    In terms of the main story - after getting mauled by Killer Croc in Arkham Asylum, the Scarecrow has returned to seek revenge on Batman and to transform Gotham into a "city of fear" - with the aid of a masked man who calls himself the Arkham Knight. Although the game itself is as subtle as a tonne of bricks with who the Arkham Knight actually is - it was hardly a surprise, regardless. Only those who have no previous knowledge of the DC Universe would need the assistance of the cutscenes/hallucinations to figure it out. Still, finding out how the Arkham Knight was 'born' was quite enjoyable.
    Even though the main story should be about the Scarecrow and Arkham Knight - you get the sense that the Joker steals the show, and there are no complaints from me about that. Mark Hamill's performance as the legendary villain is, once again, absolutely superb. The best portrayal of the character ever made, in my opinion.

    There is only one last thing to cover. The DLCs. I have and have played all of the DLCs so far, and I have enjoyed all of them. Yes, they may be short - but they only cost a few pounds, so what do you expect? That does not stop them from being enjoyable. Some, including the Harley Quinn story pack, the Red Hood story pack and the Matter of Family DLC add characters that you can use during AR Challenges, which are a lot of fun.
    I have to say, my two favourites are the Harley Quinn story pack and the Matter of Family DLC. The Harley Quinn story pack (for those who don't know) features the poor, lonely, extremely psychotic sidekick trying to free Poison Ivy from prison. Beating the **** out of Nightwing was the highlight.
    Meanwhile, the Matter of Family DLC is about Batgirl and Robin attempting to free Jim Gordon from the clutches of the Joker and Harley Quinn, in an abandoned amusement park.

    I'm cutting right to the chase, this game is a 10, so far in this generation of gaming I've been let down more then i've been thrilled, amazed, liked or even just felt content with a game i've been looking forward too, that all stops with Batman: Arkham Knight, this game lives up to all the hype, the hype that began with the surprisingly great Arkham asylum followed by the even better Arkham city, I was actually a little worried leading into Arkham knight because it wouldn't be the first time that a game studio knocked it outta the park with the first 2 games of a franchise only to come back with a disappointing 3rd entry, that is as far from the truth as I can get with Arkham Knight, this game delivers on every single aspect...

    Driving
    Tank battles
    Detective segments
    Rescuing people
    mini boss encounters
    Major boss encounters

    If you name it, this game has it in spades and in a surprising twist, this game actually has a lot of funny moments (That I refuse to spoil) and a few really dark moments that make excellent call backs to Batman's comic history, I was even surprised that there were actually a few jump scare moments that I wouldn't have associated with a Batman title, this truly feels like a Next gen title and the Graphics are second to none, he way the rain slides down Batman's mask and cape look extremely real that it's hard to imagine that it was all generated in a computer, to give this game a 10 feels like I'm under selling it but that's highest the scale goes, so a 10 it is.    … Expand

    What? Go back and play some 8 and 16 bit Batman for some context. These are the Batman games we DREAMED of back in the day. We've never had a Batman game like this, and especially not a Batmobile like this.

    More of this and more of that are always welcome - but in Knight Batman is facing a militia takeover of Gotham City, and the Batmobile PERFECTLY compliments it in every way imaginable.

    I don't care what other people say, i like all the arkham games and this one is included. Of course nothing is better than Arkham City but still, it's a great time.

    Batman Arkham Knight is an absolute triumph. From the incredible range of gameplay, to the excellent story and voice acting, wonderful characters, terrific graphics. I'm not a huge superhero fan at all, but these Batman games are always excellent and the third one has not disappointed at all.

    I'm currently 70% through the main story and 47% overall completion, I've not been disappointed at all, it's just super. I read a lot of complaints about the Batmobile which I don't understand, you need to use it for a few parts but not the whole game like people are saying and when you do call it up, it's awesome, it feels    Arkham Knight is an excellent addition to The Rocksteady Series.

It's not forced on you. I've thoroughly enjoyed the surprises that I've encountered so far and the Main story is well written and has some " oh my god " moments.
    The season pass is a rip-off but we don't have to buy it and the score shouldn't be affected by that.
    To round this up simply, if you enjoyed Asylum, City and even Origins, you'll love this.

First off, let me state that this game is absolutely beautiful, it tells an engaging and harrowing story, and plays incredibly well in both combat and stealth. First off, let me state that this game is absolutely beautiful, it tells an engaging and harrowing story, and plays incredibly well in both combat and stealth. The negative point that I will give to this otherwise fantastic game is that it takes a little too long to rev up to a consistently varied and dynamic experience. During the first 20 minutes you're engaged in an interesting story but it takes another hour to open up the world in a meaningful way. The initial batmobile combat is not very interesting and felt like a chore and the initial mobs went down without any thought except smash X and Triangle. However, once you start getting into the open world, upgrading your batmobile, this game is fantastic.

    They mix up batmobile gameplay in the same way they do with regular gameplay with stealth missions against superpowered tanks, with a hacking system that allows you to take control of drones, with chase sequences with a particular supervillain, and with some of the most thrilling and entertaining race sequences devised by the riddler. The hand to hand combat quickly ramps up with new threats being constantly introduced and devious combinations of giants, gunmen, stun rod wielders, shield bearers, medics and others. The story itself never lets up with an series of crescendo set pieces that even have minor breaks for you to pursue the secondary criminals.

    All of this doesn't mention the stunning graphics. This is easily one of the best looking games out there right now and with no load times as you zip around from rooftop to rooftop, it's truly a next-gen experience. Overall, this game may come slow out of the gates gameplay wise, it quickly transforms into one of the best games of this generation.    … Expand

The gameplay is just an improvement on the original which is the best combat in the history of video games. All I do all day at work is sit and think about new ways to approach different scenarios and how to tackle the side missions. On a quick side note, I notice a lot of people are referencing the Riddler trophies as being "annoying" or "tedious" and that makes me laugh because they're the same as they've always been. I personally LOVE the Riddler trophies and the new Riddler car challenges might be the funnest missions in the history of the franchise. Perfect game Rocksteady is legendary.… Expand

    Cant, believe the user score is that low, but haters Will hate i suppose. This is imo the best Batman game ive ever played. And ive played the other 2 from rocksteady. The story is awesome, which is the biggest Reason why i play any game at all. it seems like They put focus on the most interesting villains which suits me just fine. The batmobile feature is cool and it Was about time too,Cant, believe the user score is that low, but haters Will hate i suppose. This is imo the best Batman game ive ever played. I think this game is absolutely fantastic. Gotham is stunning, Batman's arsenal of moves is complex enough to not be a button masher but not too complicated to deter a casual gamer, the Batmobile also has a great set of mechanisms (though having to hold down a button to keep it in combat mode is annoying), and the story isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. I don't exactly know what these people expect. I'm not even a superhero fanboy and I know that superhero storylines follow a very simple formula:
    1. City is in a state of calm.

    Without having even played through this entire game, I can tell just by the trophies available for the game that this is more or less how the game functions--like every other superhero storyline in history. Why people want this complicated for the sake of some unseen uniqueness that could very well be a huge disaster is beyond me. Regarding the storyline formula: if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

    A perfect 10 if only for the fact that this is the first superhero game I've ever played that thrilled me immediately and kept me interested for hours on end so far. Not the first I've played, far from it, but we all know most superhero games are terrible even going back to the 8-bit era. My interest in this game has yet to wane. I know that a LOT of people are pissing and moaning about the Batmobile being overly used in the game, but I honestly don't have and issue with it's inclusion.     What an amazing game, my personal GOTY so far and easily the best batman game ever. Story is the best in the series, same goes for action and combat. The batmobile is just amazing, so much fun to use, people only complain about it because they suck with it. Not really anything wrong with it.     A wonderful game with hours and hours and HOURS of gameplay. As usual, the love for the character and his world absolutely sines through and the story is excellent with some very brave story decisions.

    Batman Arkham Knight is a game that improves on the combat and graphics from previous games in the Batman franchise but everything else suffers because of that, the missions are simple and predictable, the bat mobile which is supposed to be a genre defining feature ends up being pointless and repetitive. This game was WAY to hyped!

    This is, by far, the most solid and smooth, challenging and action-packed game I've played on PS4 yet, and I play a lot of games. When I first finished the game, I rated it as an 9/10. But, now after sinking my teeth into New Game+, which is where the game shows its true, beautiful colors, I've decided that it deserves a 10/10.

    Just completed this on psplus - it is an excellent game full of details and easter eggs from other DC worlds (Otisberg!!!) sporting the best gameplay in the series. The visuals are excellent with a seamless open world to explore with top notch voice acting and a unique story. For any DC fan (or fan of any other arkham games) this is a MUST HAVE.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I've so far completed 44.3 percent of the game including the side missions and the main story missions. Rocksteady studios totally taken this game to the full next level of Batman gaming, where they add in completely brand new contents and new mechanics to the game, Batman Arkham Knight is the perfect finale to end Rocksteady's amazing trilogy

    Presentation: The game graphics looks way better then the graphics from previous Arkham titles, and it's even more amazing considering the fact that the game was made on the unreal engine software. The character design looks way better and more detail, like the bloody nose that Batman gets later on in the game. The open world is even better then in Asylum, City, and even Origins. Even bigger massive and more detailed then in previous games, with even more places to explore. The voice casting is also but even better then ever. Kevin Conroy has done an even better work in voicing the Batman and the legendary Mark Hamill returns as the wild, and amazing batman villain: The Joker! I was so happy to hear the return of Mark Hamill.

    Gameplay: The gameplay of Knight feels so much more astounding then ever. The gliding mechanics Has been improved with better Ariel controls and faster gliding speed. The combat in the game has also been improved. Now you can pick up melee weapons and use them to knock your opponents, plus you can perform a devastating counter attack at times. Even better, you can now sometimes play as other characters such as Robin, Catwoman, or even Nightwing. The biggest part to the gameplay I would think is the inclusion of the Batmobile.

    Batmobile: The batmobile makes its first appearance for being driven in the arkham series. Rocksteady has done a very good work in making the batmobile. Most people don't really enjoy the batmobile and I think that they go to final conclusion right away that the batmobile is very clunky and hard to control. Now I spend many hours in the past two days driving the batmobile almost every where I go. The people just didn't get use to driving it since this is completely brand new. It was hard for me at first but I managed to master the batmobile battle mode and regular driving mode from just by practicing. The only problem I had with the batmobile is the breaking. You need to press the square button to break but I always press the L2 button that goes into tank mode. I think the main problem is that I played many racing games in the past and the L2 button is the break button. However the batmobile is still such an amazing vehicle to ride in and to fight in and that is probably the biggest thing that batman has done. There aren't any batman games in the past to include the batmobile to drive in. And I'm not counting the comedy Lego batman games.

    Final Verdict: Rocksteady truly did a remarkable job on this game, and I could totally see a reason for dealing it in the first place from last year. If they haven't delayed the game, then this would be just as bad as the movie Batman and Robin! I understand that the PC version is having loads of problems and that WB games are trying to fix the game, but the PC I'm sure will definitely get fixed. I don't know why many people don't consider Arkham Knights to be better than Arkham City, but this is way better than Arkham city. The Presentation is even better with a much longer lasting appeal, a suspenseful and thriller story, and the visuals and the world is simply remarkable. The gameplay is simply more fresher and works even better, and the batmobile makes it a true dream come true. Batman Arkham Knight is definitely the game of the year.     From the interactive cut scenes (NOT QTE) to the flawless presentation on all fronts, Arkham Knight will delight ALL but the most devoted Arkham fan, simply because much of what is in the game is an extreme refinement of previous games.

Pleasу don't believe haters - most of their reviews are dated - 24 of June. It is impossible to understand game in such short time.

Since the launch of the surprisingly excellent Arkham Asylum, there's been Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Alien: Isolation, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and numerous other excellent licensed games- something that can be rarely said in the medium of gaming. With Arkham Knight comes the senses shattering conclusion to this brilliant franchise (or Rocksteady's involvement in it anyway) and it's just as much of a masterpiece as would be expected. And while this review may be late (even if I did receive the game on launch day), in retrospect it's just as brilliant looking back as it was playing it.

    The Arkham games have always held a place of honour in the mythos of the Dark Knight. While they may be removed from standard Detective Comics continuity, they portray the same level of excellence and depth as many of the hero's finest works, such as the Killing Joke and the Dark Knight Returns. The games also pay attention to the history of the bat-loving, bad guy basher with many references to iconic moments and Batman's past mostly mirrors that of in the comics (yet what shouldn't be expected is a brighter era like the 50's or 60's). Arkham Knight is a perfect example of how to craft a mature and well written Batman story that implements both emotional elements and a plot that sees the Batman out to save his city as well. While I won't spoil anything major, the basic plot overview is that Scarcrow is back from his brief journey onto Croc's dinner menu near the end of Asylum and he wants revenge for the injuries he sustained and the embarrassment he experienced- not at the hands of Croc but at those of the Dark Knight himself. Partnering with a mysterious armoured figure known as the Arkham Knight, who has his own private army and a seemingly limitless amount of money to spend, he sets out to not just kill the Batman, but to completely break him mentally and physically as he tears down his city and everyone he loves. As such, his terrorist threats against the people of Gotham see them evacuated from the city and into the outer reaches, which while being a very good set up to ensure Batman can tear around the streets in his new set of wheels, is also an effective way to get the ball rolling. It's a fast paced and incredibly interesting narrative, though you should also be aware for some slower paced and character building scenarios. And of course there are plot twists- many in abundance and some that completely change the way the game plays out. Last but not least, the identity of the Arkham Knight. It's been controversial to say the least, as many are disappointed by the obvious allusions towards the face behind the mask. In my opinion it was an effective retelling of a famous Batman story arc and so found it to make the story even better.

    Moving onto the gameplay and while no major additions have been implemented into the combat and air traversal components, these mechanics are at their greatest height and seeing them perfected is a sign of how far the series has come. The Freeflow system is faster and features better animations, as well as the ability to pick up weapons and use environmental takedowns among other things. Grappling is faster and I even noticed Batman has better agility with some animations seeing him bouncing off walls. Stealth has also been mixed up with new Fear Takedowns and a greater range of options open in Detective mode. Being the ultimate Predator has never been so much fun!

    Of course it's the Batmobile that makes this entry stand out the most though and for good reason. Despite everyone's claims of it being overused and the combat being repetitive, I believe that the car is bloody awesome! It handles well and can deftly drift around corners, while also having a boost system and suspension that is unbelievable. Switching into Battle Mode is simple with the tap of a button (on a different control scheme that is) and the amount of weapons and enemy types available is great. It's challenging yet enjoyable and mixes it up from standard fights.

    Arkham Knight is jam packed with content, including tonnes of varied side missions, a fair amount of new AR challenges and a New Game Plus option that will definitely encourage you to replay it. To see the game's true ending though, you also need to complete most of the side missions. Complete them all and you can see the TRUE, true ending. This may annoy some as it requires you to get every single Riddler trophy and all of the villain's puzzles as well, but I found these more varied and easier to get than before and they are also in shorter supply so it's not a massive task.

    It's too early to call Arkham Knight game of the generation (though the graphics are the best I've seen yet) and it has some strong competition this year with Witcher 3 and MGSV. But after 61 hours with the game and seeing everything, it's the best I've played.    … Expand

The story is pretty good but it is predictable for big Batman comic fans. Other then that this game is amazing, it was worth every penny.     Having played both of the previous Arkham games, Rocksteady had a lot to live up to. Not just gameplay wise but story wise too. Now keep in mind that I know "some" about Batman from the comics, but only what I read online. I am NOT a comic fan! I'm just a regular gamer and Batman fan. The story serves perfect as the final outing of the Dark Knight, in my mind. Batman taking on Scarecrow and the Militia feels real and authentic as a final threat. This time Batman has to give his everything, and he does. Now there is also the Arkham Knight - the titular villain. I love his design, and his voice. He is believable as the greatest threat to Batman that he is in the beginning of the game (next to Scarecrow), since he knows everything about him, and he leads the militia and aids them by pointing out his weaknesses etc.

    Then there is the biggest new gameplay feature: the Batmobile. Some people whine about it being used too much, but I disagree. This is Rocksteady's final Batman game, and they said from the beginning that they wanted to incorporate the Batmobile in the finale and put a lot of their focus on there. It shows that they did. The driving is miles better than in games like GTA 5, or Watch_Dogz. It feels much more fluid and you can use the breaks at full speed without crashing into everything. The tank mode seems to be the biggest complaint for some reason. I highly enjoyed all of the tank battles, and all of the riddler challenges which required the Batmobile. It felt nice for some diversity. I think the only people who don't like it, are people who say they want change, but hate it when it happens. Or just because they suck at it. Either way, as another reviewer pointed out, maybe you should just continue playing CoD or other games that has barely been changed in the last 10 years, if you like repetitiveness so much. Some people just can't seem to be pleased with anything sadly.

    The combat is polished and you receive new moves and gadgets, which you will use a lot on your final journey. There are numerous ways to take down your enemies, either stealthy or just going all out. Again, adding some nice diversity if you like me, appreciate games that are not too repetitive.

    The side missions are also awesome. I like the new "Most Wanted" mode, where you have a "main baddie" attached to every line of side missions, and you have to complete X number of missions in that line to get to him. Like the Penguin or Two-Face missions, where you work your way up to them, by spoiling their robberies/weapons caches so you can beat them and arrest them afterwards. Or when you have to destroy strategic militia outposts in order to gain full control of the islands, to get GCPD to patrol again. There are many sorts of side missions, so even after you've beaten the story which is fairly long by itself, you still have plenty of stuff to do afterwards. I love that Rocksteady sort of "forces" you to complete all of the missions, because by doing so, you get to activate "Knightfall protocol" which reveals the true ending. You can complete most of them and activate it, and get the partial ending and you can complete 100% and get the full ending afterwards. A great motivation to get you to complete everything, since nothing is tedious to do. Maybe except for some of the Riddler challenges.

    The only downside to an otherwise perfect game, are the rather disappointing boss battles. This is where the Batmobile could've been used a little less IMO. But it's not so bad that the rest of the game is ruined.

    Batman: Arkham Knight is without a doubt, the greatest game I've played in many many years. And I've played games for 12 years now. While games like GTA 5 and the Witcher 3 are both great games in their own right, they don't really have a lot of replay value. Arkham Knight is one of the very few games I can see myself playing just for the fun of it in a year or two again from now. I've already completed the game 200% (new game plus), and I still can't get enough. If Arkham Asylum was a 9.0 and Arkham City was a 9.5, then Arkham Knight is a solid 10, there's no doubt about it! If you haven't already gotten the game, do yourself a massive favor and buy this gem. I guarantee you won't regret it.    … Expand

The world is rich and detailied, making free-roaming as fun as in 'City'.

    This is the best Batman so far, this game plays and looks amazing on the PlayStation 4, getting control of the Bat Mobile is a lot of fun, the controls are excellent, when I write a review I'm honest on what I am writing about, Batman Arkham Knight on PS4 IS A BLAST

    this is the last arkham game and they greatly ended the trilogy the graphics of this game is really amazing and breathe taking gameplay is enhanced and forcing batmobile in missions will reduce the score for me overall this game is one of the best this year no doubt

    This game is amazing!! Definitely the best of the trilogy in my opinion. The Batmobile is an awesome addition and extremely fun to play with and the story is fantastic!! This is a true Batman experience and I'm sad that it's over now.

The people saying Origins sucks are just repeating what others are saying, regardless of whether they played the game or not. And as a fan of the franchise, I would put Origins Second to last on a scale of the games, Asylum being the last, City the second, and Knight the First.

    The gameplay is much more immersive, the storytelling is grittier and darker than previous titles, but this only helps to create a living world around you, making you feel as if you really are batman grapelling through the skyline, and ending thugs left and right.

    The batmobile is definitely not overused (xD), And having just completed the main Most Wanted quest, I hadnt even thought about the overuse of the batmobile till I got to this reviews site.

    The batmobile opens up the door to a whole new array of missions and puzzles, making quests such as the riddler a much more diverse and puzzling ordeal.

    The buttons were redone, and it is dissapointing that I could not switch R2/L2 with R1/L1 seeing as how this is the way i had done it the entire franchise.

    The controls, you will get used to though, and once you master every new move that batman has in his arsenal, such as gadget takedowns and combat maneuvers, you will no doubt feel a connection between yourself, and the game.

    The graphics are richly detailed, enticing you to exit your batmobile in places such as the Subway terminals, and look around.

    Everything feels as if it has a story to it, and I even caught myself wondering at one point, what the story was behind a store, or a dark street, or even an overturned car!

    I would urge players to play a few hours before judging the game. I'm about 1/2 way through the story and having a blast at the moment. Gotham looks amazing,, the attention to detail is awesome.

    The character's are all memorable and all have some very cool/funny dialogue.

    Gameplay is great with numerous ways to take down enemies.

    Beautiful gameBatman was always my favorite super hero. A legend and larger than life character who will stop at nothing to save Gotham from the unspeakable evil. In 2009 Rocksteady shocked everyone by making the most beautiful comic video game, Batman Arkham Asylum and now, batman is back in the final game which is bigger and better than ever, Batman Arkham Knight.

    Best Batman game ever. Super clever puzzles, excellent and satisfying combat. The introduction of the Bat-mobile was very well made, I thought it would be on rails, but actually you can go almost anywhere even vertically sometimes. A nice range of different activities makes it diversified. Buildings around the city look unique and there is lots of attention to details.

    I can assure you this is a good game on consoles and even better if you are a fan. I have noticed that the PC players have started polluting the user scores on the PS4 and XBOX ONE consoles.     Great end, to an awesome trilogy. Rocksteady took their time with this, and it shows. The Batmobile segments are fun, but can be a bit much towards the end. Overall, this is an easy buy for any Batman fan!

    Best game of the saga. Batmobile is a fantastic tool to use and it makes the game a lot more challenging. Story is amazing and it seems directed by Nolan. Great upgrade to enemies which are not anymore gimmicky, but really a bunch of psychos.

    Ignore anyone giving 0, this 10 is to balance it out for those useless people rating 0 a masterpiece. Give it a go, you will fall in love for this title.

    Best Batman game so far. i can play like a whole day after buying the game. And i even forget to continue to play the witcher 3. LOL

    Can't explain about the graphic, it's awesome in every detail. The storyline is great. the best thing in this new batman game is the BATMOBILE!! it's quite hard in the first time actually. The way we solve The Riddler puzze with batmobile is enjoyable.

The game tackles a lot of darker , more mature themes as it concludes the brilliant trilogy produced by Rocksteady . This is a must for any fan of the series .

Great graphics (the new consoles almost beat my PC but are still quite stunning! ), lots of encounters and side quests to do, great batmobile and the mechanics to go with it plus thoughtful upgrades to go with it.

    There are some who are saying there are no boss battles, but this isn't true, there just aren't as many of the frustrating "throw out the game mechanics that made the game interesting and whale on a giant health bar for 10 frustrating/boring minutes" that, after 30 years of gaming, has grown more than a little stale!

    A word of warning, the game seems a little bit more twitchy than earlier editions but then I did just admit to being old! ; p    … Expand

    9.8/10 It does lack a lot of challenge maps which does kill it in the long run. However, this game is the the best arkham game. The Story is the great, gameplay is great, graphics is great. Overall just great. This is as close to being batman we will ever get.

    The story seems to be quite good though not something very memorable but still acceptable and good. I won't spoil it for you hence won't concentrate on this bit and not forgetting by the end the bat mobile can seem a bit over repetitive.
    The music, sound and voice acting as usual is amazing combined with no loading screens and amazing cut scenes make the game even more immersive.
    I would definitely recommend the PS4 version of this game or Xbox One and its definitely worth the price tag but we have to question whether the price tag of the DLC is really worth it? I think not and this should not be encouraged.    … Expand

    Game is smooth as hell. Not a single loading screen. Improved combat and flight. Huge map really detailed.
    Tank battles still feel out of place and forced. I mean never in batman's comic history did batman go blowing up tanks(tons of them!). All of them unmanned really!
    Still a 10 because its the godamm BATMAN.

The voice acting is exemplary and the story seems great so far as well. The only thing that even slightly disappointed me were the batmobile controls. In order to enter battle mode, you need to hold down L2 and keep it held down, or else you'll drop back into pursuit mode. I really couldn't understand why they did this; nor could I understand why reverse was assigned to the "square" button. This made batmobile gameplay awkward at times, but thankfully, there is an option to toggle these controls once you get past your first visit to the GCPD, which is great. And even so, the other awesome elements that Rocksteady have put into this game just completely overshadow this. New enemies, including brutes and medics are welcome (if annoying) changes to the combat and fear takedowns and dual play are perfect additions that both feel batman-y. Overall, this is a fantastic game that I would say is a MUST BUY.… Expand

    Amazing game, makes you feel like just like batman. The open world of gotham, the batmobile (in pursuit mode), and the new gliding abilities are awesome. The side missions tie in really well too, and a certain person's cameo was just out of this world. Definitely 10/10. Worth playing if you liked previous arkham games, or if you like exploring open worlds.

    This game is Batman. If you loved the other ones as I did, then you'll love this one as well. If you're looking for something brand new and different from the other ones, than you'll be disappointed. This is everything that I wanted in the game and more! Also, DLC is NOT how I would describe this game since there are none out there except for the preorder stuff.

People complain because they want perfection. The game isn't perfect, no game is. But this is one heck of a video game.

    This is an amazing game. Playing it on the PS4, it is an absolute joy to play. It looks and plays fabulously with no hiccups whatsoever. The combat system is as fluid as ever with new improvements, driving around in the Batmobile is stellar, and the game shines through and through.

    When you thought that they couldn't improve upon the Arkham games any longer, I'm happy to say it has improved. The story is great, the graphics are great, and there's plenty of content. The only problem I have with it is the sometimes forced batmobile gameplay, but it isn't unbearable to the point of it detracting from the game. Worth picking up even if you aren't a batman fan.

But at the same time it’s starting to feel like Rocksteady is almost too comfortable. It lacks new content, except the pretty bad designed Batmobile parts. If you haven’t played the previous games that much you will probably think that this is one of the best games this year.
