Omega Force has created something really special here. Between the presentation that perfectly captures the soul of the Attack on Titan anime and the action that immerses players into every scene, this is a definite home run.

Attack on Titan is an excellent game and the best one published by Koei Tecmo. Its gameplay mechanics are perfect, as well as its design. This game is a must-buy for the fans of the manga/anime.

Omega Force have packed a solid title: the game that all fans of Attack on Titan deserved. Despite a tricky control scheme, the game exhibits very solid and fun gameplay.

Punctuated by an impressive original score, Attack on Titan has just about everything one could ask for from a video game adaptation of the series. A few blemishes hold the game back from being something truly special, but Omega Force and Koei Tecmo are certainly on the right track.

A.O.T Wings of Freedom is a good game with some nice combat and cut-scenes that should make any fan of the anime quite happy about its investment. If only it could have had better designed environments, with a bit more destruction maybe.

This game walks away from Omega Force's usual musou games, with an intense action game. Its visuals are on par with the anime, something that will appeal fans of Attack on Titan.

With Attack on Titan, Omega Force has managed to craft a wonderfully exhilarating game full of action and suspense that closely follows the source material. It's leaps and bounds above their Dynasty Warriors franchise.

Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom is a game that will delight the manganime fan. The ODM control is perfect, graphically is correct and the atmosphere is great. But, the gameplay is very repetitive and maybe the non-fan player fall into boredom soon.

Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom is a videogame that the original opera lovers can not pass up. The repetitiveness of the missions and the various technical problems affect only partly an experience as much fun as spectacular, full of mechanics that make it perfectly the idea of what it means to fight against the Titans.

Attack on Titan is a great introduction for the anime franchise into the world of console gaming, and while it's not perfect, it's a game that can be enjoyed even by those who haven't watched a second of the show.

'Attack on Titan' focuses on a single idea and nails it absolutely perfectly. The game runs the risk of feeling repetitive at times, but it smartly mitigates that by injecting enough variety into each mission and playable character.

Attack on Titan is an impressive feat, nailing the movement of the anime and that satisfying feeling that you get when taking down a titan is captured almost perfectly. There's a few minor flaws here, but for fans of the series, you're hardly going to notice.

Overall, I really enjoyed playing Attack on Titan. Being able to traverse the environment and fluidly take out giants felt great. While there are some glitches and it could get repetitive for some, I can still happily recommend this to any curiously minded gamer and doubly so if you are an Attack on Titan fan.

Koei Tecmo's Attack on Titan is certainly the game that fans have been waiting for. It delivers so much of what fans love about the show, and really does a great job of putting you right into the action.

It has light RPG elements, but it's still a hack-and-slash, and those of you who aren't down with Warriors games will probably get bored after several hours.

Given that this is the first attempt at a very different kind of game for Koei Tecmo, I’d say that Attack on Titan franchise is in good hands going forward.

High-wire hijinks in the spirit of the show. Who knew Omega Force had it in them? [Oct 2006, p.79]

Although there are many interesting non-combat portions of the series that do not appear in Attack on Titan, the game proves itself to be a titan in the anime tie-in genre of video games.

Finally a good game that does justice to all the lore of Attack of Titan. This Koei Tecmo game is a fast-paced action game that really transmits the essence of the series and does it with a wonderful and attractive presentation. However, and although it looks good, it has some technical problems in its controls that from one time to another difficult the actions the player does. Also, it lacks really interesting game modes that could convince the players to return to it after finishing the main campaign. If you are a fan of the series then you should play this game.

Fun and relatively original adaptation of the manganime mega hit Attack on Titan. Solid gameplay mechanics, nice cooperative mode and a deep solo Campaign are the best features of this action adventure title.

If you like AoT, it's one of the best adaptations we could ask for. It's a shame its gameplay is quite repetitive and can end up being boring, but AoT fans should give it a try.

A great way to re-experience the first season of Attack on Titan in game form, and Omega Force have done a fantastic job making you feel like a complete badass despite repetitive missions.

Some important story details are passed quickly but only to get you into the action. Each character even tho they have generally the same abilities definitely feel different. When you switch from the badass mikasa to the mindful armin going about battles the same way will not work out for you. Game looks great, and plays great. Underlining upgrade system if easy to understand and fun to play with as you get better gear your character model will reflect that. Get to elaborate on some story points the anime glosses over as well so its a give and take and keeps the story in the action. Action is repetitive but if you go as hard and as fast as you can its always entertaining. Navigation has a little bit of a learning curve and still feels a little clunky after you master it, but compare your first few hours and later in the game will feel like you are a god on ODM gear. I was also happy to see its not the same for the titans. Yes you will see models repeated but if you are fighting a group they are not all going to look or act the same. I think there are ~200 different titans? Full Review »

It's not one of those titles that should be played by people who don't already loveIf you're a fan of the series you're gonna love this game. It's not one of those titles that should be played by people who don't already love the source material. It can be repetitive once you get it down, but most games are. Maybe for sixty dollars you wont find it worth it, but a lot of the time a rating ends up being based on how much you paid for it to begin with. Wait for the price to go down and you'll see this game in a better light than if you got it now. The movement is fluid and responsive, the art style is amazing, and zipping around cutting up titans is satisfying. Sure there may not be to much to this game, but support this one enough, and maybe we'll get a sequel with things that happen after the anime, like human enemies and the like. Who knows? For now I feel perfectly fine supporting this fully. Full Review »
