Oct 2, 2018It's an OK game but it doesn't really feel like assassin's creed. I mean yes Origin's mechanics are still there but i just can't feel like i'm playing a game from the serie that i've been playing for years. It's more like a spin off game. It's definitely not bad but not really assassin's creed either.

Jul 1, 2020Got the Platinum, and played all DLC.. but I got really tired of this formula. Great graphics, nice locations. The RPG system was really bad for this title. You can select the gender but translations often mismatch you during conversations (Spanish and french)

Jan 16, 2020Beautifully designed and full of fantastic historical details, but ultimately it is an overwhelming slog that gets increasingly repetitive and frustrating. I ended up deleting the game once I hit level 40.

Feb 28, 2019Un juego que repite el mismo esquema de principio a fin, sin variación ni evolución alguna. todo el rato es lo mismo. Más del 50% del tiempo de juego es tener al jugador corriendo de un lado a otro para completar las distintas misiones.

Nov 24, 2018there is amazing potential in this game. story is nice combat is nice, graphics are very good.
i dont like enemy and weapons levelling up with you, makes it feel like everything you do doesnt really matters. it gets repetetive after a while, why should i invest time in the progression of my character if lv10 feels exactly like lv 50? -

Sep 27, 2019Pros: Amazing Graphics, Massive World, Touring Mode
Cons: Load Times, Story, A Grind, Repetitive Gameplay, Combat, Too Many Sidequests
Graphics: 9.0
Sound: 7
Story: 3
Gameplay: 5
I recommend buying it on sale for the exploration value. -

Nov 25, 2018A fun experience that wanes a bit too quickly. The world is lovingly crafted, but the story/questing is jarring and lazy sometimes, and the levelling/progression mechanics are somewhat mediocre. This would be a good one to grab on sale.

Jan 14, 2019This is unpolished Origins with bad combat. And the mercenary system is hilarious. In Origins dangerous foes called phylakes could be randomly run into or they would be called when fort alarm is activated and they die when they die.In Odyssey they endlessly respawn and will hunt you down when you are on a toilet on the moon.Cuz they know where you are!!!

Mar 7, 2019As a fan of Assassin's Creed, being someone who has played every AC game (but origins), and after spending 100+ hours on this game, I can totally say: DO NOT BUY IT. I'ts terrible, an absolute piece of sh*t. Don't waste your money on Ubisoft anymore because they are laughing at us.

Oct 3, 2018Although the game can be fun at times, especially when fighting multiple bounty hunters, raiding camps and big battles, the story is full of inconsistencies which is not helped by the abysmal voice acting of the protagonists and mediocre and sometimes exaggerated animations.
By a simple comparison, this game makes Unity look like a million bucks.
I would recommend waiting for a sale on this one. -

May 19, 2019+Open world is gorgeous
+Side missions
+New RPG elements like abilities
+Boss battles are better than other AC games.
-Grinding - Enemies' reactions to hitting hit.
-Sometimes stealth felts broken.
-Enemey AI -
Nov 9, 20185 because it is a good game and -5 because it has a lot of bugs and microtransactions. Its made by bugisoft so that was expected.

Oct 2, 2018I've played up to level 3. It's almost exactly like Origins so far. Same houses, landscapes. Same type of missions. Same fighting style. Same leveling system. Haven't gotten to ships yet- hoping that's something different. So far, not impressed. Will update as I get further into the game. Not really an RPG.

Oct 9, 2018Это не Асасин,это ведьмак не минималках. Игра очень дерганная,не плавная и графон такой себе(поэтому такая оценка)

Nov 23, 2018AC:Odyssey is boring and the more it tries to be a jack of all trades, the more it becomes clear that it's a master of none. I can't play this game for more than an hour because gameplay and quest design feels like a monotonous chore and the cut scenes and story are boring and uninspired.

Oct 15, 2018This is not assassins creed!!! It is horrible to see how a stealth adventure has gone on to become a openworld gdr. Despite this the graphics remain superb as well as the suggestion linked to the historical period. The fights seem more fluid than ac origins but still have shortcomings. High level sound and infinite longevity.

Jul 9, 2019You are going to play and have fun with it but having the name of an assassin creed game it is really disappointing. A lot of aspect previous games had are missing from this one that made those games so remarkably.

Oct 29, 2020I spent 100+ hours in this game only because I have nothing to play else and I don’t like to drop off Storyline is weak, heroe doesn’t have any motivation, just do what NPC said
Gameplay sometimes enraged me so much that I really wish I can have a refund
However, art direction is beautiful and sometimes you can make few interesting quests
That’s all, 6 only for visual, atmosphere and sound -

Jun 26, 2020Even ignoring how the recent rpg AC games are such a diversion from the series that they should not be Assassins Creed games. This game also suffers from the mid-late 2010s open world curse. Every game has to be open world even when there isn't enough content to fill it. This is a prime example of the expression "wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle"

Feb 12, 2022One of the worst AAA games i've ever played. I don't know, i hate this game and Ubisoft. F#ck this stupid and boring story, good atmosphere, bad gameplay, GIANT OPEN WORLD, leveling: you need to grind for new mission's.
BULLSH}T -
Nov 16, 2021One of the weakest parts of the Assassin's Creed series. The gameplay of the game is similar to the previous part of the series - Origins. The game does not introduce anything new, except for a huge map with a bunch of all sorts of collective junk.
-
Feb 19, 2022This game values quanity over quality. Everything in this game feels a bit uninspired there is no twists on the open world formula. Combat is decent but lacks fluidity. The story is decent but is too long and convoluted. The leveling makes the world hard to explore and enjoy it make the game too much of a grindfest

Oct 31, 2020Visually stunning, fairly fun but repetitive game play , but it BLOATED !!!! 10 hours in and I had barelt even leveled , paid to make the leveling normal, played and 25 hours and I am over it.. I dont know WTF is going on in the story, I barly unloack a fraction of the map and its all the same thing over and over for hours.

May 29, 2019A buggy, yet fun game. Currently I deal with situations where the game begins to drop to 2 frames a second, and skips through combat. This makes the game unplayable, but other than that, It is an enjoying game to play when it works.
-
Dec 14, 2020This game is so much fun that ubi is charging you to avoid playing it. Of course when to progress you have to grind relentlessly after some 10 hours of gameplay.

Jul 14, 2020Game with beautiful graphics and new combat mechanics that please, but the ambition to make a gigantic map left the world lifeless with its repetitive side quests.
-
Sep 23, 2019After playing Assassin's Creed Origins i was excited for this entry in the series, Origins felt fresh with a compelling story and main character, sadly however Odyssey feels laboured and tired in addition the sheer size of the map does after a while become too much, and while Origins itself had a large map it did not feel like a chore to traverse.
-
Oct 2, 2019Despite the good work on graphics, design et history personalities, the game feels so robotic and mechanical. There is no emotion in characters, stoy or reactions. So senseless, cold and boring of course. Not that one ac game i would recommend.
-
Apr 10, 2019nice details and nice music... Also great graphics but game-play is always repeating itself.
Although gameplay is almost same with AC: origins, unfortunately origins is really better than this game. -

Jun 17, 2019Amazing graphics, rly bad fighting that is repetative, skill is tree is just ok. Story is **** ending is **** ****
-
Jul 20, 2021If the map had been much smaller, the story much shorter, and the quests much fewer, the game would have been much better to experience and enjoy. However, the fact that they explicitly and shamelessly sold "time-savers" for this suggests that the main concern wasn't making the best possible game, but the most profitable one.
-
-
May 1, 2022Ok game, like the freedom, unfortunately made worse by some ridiculous bosses (wtf kalydonian boar??) some bad character writing and frustrating rpg-choices that will drive you to anger. A good game made bad.

Mar 4, 2019I cared more for these characters and the world than I ever did in previous Assassin’s Creed games, and I think that’s part of why this reboot is so successful. Playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey left me feeling valiant and triumphant as I worked my way up the cultist food chain, and and I was always excited to see what Kassandra was off to discover next.
-
CD-ActionFeb 13, 2019If someone had told me couple of years ago that Assassin’s Creed would become a full-fledged action RPG that would not look out of place on a shelf next to The Witcher 3, I would have snickered. But here I am, over 80 hours into Odyssey and still unable to believe that really happened. [12/2018, p.44]

Edge MagazineNov 9, 2018It also commits a few of the same sins: in particular, the deluge of gar drops feels vaguely insulting, conditioning the player to lust after items exclusive to the in-game store. It's lifted, however, by the relative wit and intelligence of its quest design, and the delicate notes of uncertainty and curiosity introduced by Exploration mode. [Christmas 2018, p.108]
