Bloodhound’s voice actor Allegra Clark and Allegra has confirmed the character is non-binary. On the other hand, Gibby, is actually gay. In his bio it states, "only began to understand the value of protecting others when he and his boyfriend stole his father's motorcycle, took it on a joyride, and got trapped by a deadly mudslide." The gameplay is very great with a lot of assortments of guns, shield, and many mechanics. 10/10.

This is by far the best Battle Royale, it's mix of gun play and abilities that consistently push the player base to improve are fantastic. I've played most Battle Royale games and none have come close to how clean Respawn has made APEX.
While there are of course bugs on big new season releases the devs do a good job of fixing them, or trying to make balancing changes in a timely manner.

Newcomers will have a lot to learn and there is definitely a learning curve, but given the time put in, it’s a blast when you are fully experienced in the world and lore of Apex. The movement and gunplay is the best part. My only true negatives is EA’s bad servers and SBMM. 8.8/10. Expand

Best free game and best battle royale in history so far. The gameplay is super smooth. My only criticism would be the skill based matchmaking, which as a solo queue player, leaves me with suicidal teammates and enemy squads that drip sweat. It would be nice to allow all players off all skill levels to actually duke it out in each casual game. Leave the balanced skill levels to ranked play.

The ping system works well and the game is a huge amount of fun. The main thing that lets it down is other players who either do not want to work in a team. I do not mean that they can't revive or collect your banner due to enemies, but that they down the last enemy member, walk past you when you are down or out and just ignore you, despite you having revived them. The players that do not play as a team let this team game down, otherwise it can be amazing. It needs a few tweaks and there are balancing issues or kill detection issues, but otherwise it is fantastic. The best Battle Royale I have played.

Now respawn just needs to penalise players who quit early ( when players like me will revive you) and those who do not work as a team. Or maybe add a solo mode for these players to disappear to.

It is almost flawless despite being an EA project. The game no one heard about before, that wasn't even advertised turned out to be a huge surprise and a fresh breath to the industry, its simply amazing.

The best battle royale ever made is ironically one that is entirely free. Apex Legends is simply a blast to play, whether it's with friends or strangers. The only downside is that the servers sometimes crash. Other than that, this is one of the best games you can possibly try for free.

It's fast paced but with a good time-to-kill, promotes teamplay and has a ton of quality of life improvements that other BR games sorely need. Overall, me and my friends are loving it. The only reason for a 9 instead of 10 is because there are some connection issues sometimes, and that loot boxes (or Apex Packs, I guess) become kind of sparse at a certain point, but I imagine that the devs will have fixed the few connection issues soon, and since they've announced that a battle pass will be added in March I trust that there will be a lot of cool stuff to unlock.

It's free and it's good. Definitely think about giving it a try.

I never got into BR games before. I think the solo experience often felt as hollow as grinding through CoD to obtain prestige, only then to feel I can't be bothered to go round the clock again.

I never got into BR games before. I think the solo experience often felt as hollow as grinding through CoD to obtain prestige, only then to feel I can't be bothered to go round the clock again.

Apex, somehow, has me hooked though.

Perhaps it's the team play, each character having a few unique perks that can play well for others in the squad, or, perhaps its just that Apex is an incredibly polished game considering its free.

I downloaded Apex within 24hrs of release "just to give it a go" and found myself squandering sleep to get one more round in. I started mic'd up and ready to chat, but found most people don't bother with mics at all, and whilst on most CoOp / team play games this would be a killer, Apex smoothly overcomes that with - what is - an epic means of communication by a simple 'ping' mechanism. It works so well, that I now only switch my mic on to congratulate our team on being the round Champions.

Perhaps my love of Evolve and fact the community died long before my love of it did left a void of good team play FPS, and Apex has filled that void brilliantly. It's incredibly well balanced, no pay to win, and when you finish a round with 10 kills, be it 1st or 10th, you are rewarded for doing so. I don't feel I'm grinding levels to actually get anywhere, I'm just enjoying playing with random people and working alongside them to win. There's often frustration when you are teamed with people that quit on jumping in, or quit on the select menu (presumably as they've not got a 2nd character they wish to play as)... but these are easily forgotten as you start the next round, and a few times I've come top3 even starting with a 2 man disadvantage thanks to quitters.
I've also used Facebook to gain more PSN friends and hook up with them when we're all on - a good idea if you want to make a solid squad, or prefer using mic to pinging (though if you don't learn to ping - then your dead meat anyhow really)

Overall it's a solid 8.5/10. I think the User score of 6.9 is hilarious given people have given it Zero, for a free, very polished, very fun FPS with team mechanics, just because it's not some other game they play, or because it is BR. I do dislike other BR games, but it's less about the BR factor in Apex, it's more about headshots, reviving team mates and sticking together. If your considering downloading it, you've literally nothing other than 26GB to lose, do it and see for yourself - it's a fun game!

Probably the best free-to-play game that I ever played. I'm not a huge fan of Battle Royales, but Respawn really nailed it. It isnt a ten just because it lacks content, with only one mode and one map available, but with updates, the game has great potential

Haven't been addicted to a game like this since, well, Fortnite. Steady loot drops, diverse characters, and a quick return to action after death is a recipe for success in the genre. Plus, it looks stunning.

I have to admit, I am hating myself for this too. I never got into Fortnite or PUBG because the genre never appealed to me and those games still don't. However, I do like Respawn and was willing to try if for the sake of that. And I'm glad I did. Respawn somehow was able to maneuver around EA's red tape and greediness and develop a good game.

The game is probably one of the best running Free-to-Play games out there. And I don't mean that as a diss. It truly is smooth and the graphics are beautiful. The "team" battle royale feeling adds something to the pot in this game for someone like me who is sketchy on multiplayer games. I feel like their are true tactics I can speak in regards to my team as to how to feel safe which makes the headset I spent $70+ on feel like a good investment for once.

Yes, their are microtransactions in this game, however, AS OF NOW, it doesn't have an effect in gameplay.

My honest argument is give it a try. I don't like the battle royale genre myself, but honestly, even this one got me hooked. Were it not for being by Respawn, I would have never tried it, but I am honestly glad I did. If you try it and don't like it, hey it's free. Go on with your live and live happy and merry knowing you never spent a dime on it. But try it first.

If you're a Battle Royale hater you shouldn't even post reviews here because this game obviously isn't made for you. The game is free so you can try it if you like, and if you don't like it just uninstall it.

    Pros:

As someone who likes Battle Royales, Apex Legends does not disappoint. The foundations of this game and gameplay are strong. Unlike the other Battle Royales out there, this is unique in the fact that it combines characteristics from Titanfall and Overwatch (Ultimates, special abilities, etc.) I can’t wait to see where this game thrives and how it keeps developing in the future.

Apex Legends is pretty limited in cosmetics and loots. For example, many of the legendary skins are just a recolor of the original skin and lacks originality. Stats are also a bit screwed in this game.

Purely from a gameplay perspective, it’s the best first person battle royale title out there, and well worth dipping into a year on. It’s disappointing that Titanfall 3 seems further away than ever, but for now Apex Legends will do just as well.

Apex Legends spices up the battle royale formula with hero-based shooter pizazz and its revolutionary pinging system, which helps everyone feel welcome to the team. Though its Season One rollout has been disappointing content-wise and its visual flair remains bland, Apex Legends still has the solid foundation necessary for a free-to-play shooter to survive in the long run. And with 50 million players reached in its first month, it's not like it's slowing down anytime soon. We're all jumpmasters now.
