The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection offers a refreshing take on the series, with enjoyable stories that take you beyond the courtroom. The remastered sprites and new mechanics add value, while the chapter format makes it perfect for quick sessions. Although there’s little new for those who played the originals, it’s a must-have for newcomers, especially on the Nintendo Switch for its portability.

The Miles Edgeworth Collection is a stellar product. It features some of the series' best writing, varied gameplay, and unique set pieces. Not only is this the best way to play these games, it’s one of the only ways to play the fantastic sequel.

Much like the Phoenix Wright, Great Ace Attorney, and Apollo Justice anthologies that came before it, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is unlikely to convert those who have dismissed the franchise (and the adventure genre as a whole) for its more laid-back, slower-paced gameplay. And at the end of the day, it’s a real shame, since Ace Attorney Investigations Collection offers up some of the best storytelling and characters the medium has seen. As a diehard fan, I can only hope that Capcom’s commitment to re-releasing every game in the franchise is another step toward a proper, seventh mainline entry. While I’m at it, would it be too much to ask for a port of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright? If so, sue me.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection finally allows Western players to access the entire Ace Attorney saga, including Ace Attorney Investigations 2, the last spin-off that had remained unreleased in our region, at least through official channels. And that's a great thing, as it is one of the best-written chapters in the entire series. The only flaw in this collection, if we want to nitpick, is the lack of any noteworthy new content to enhance it compared to the original releases. However, considering that we're talking about a very niche series—one that, until recently, many thought we would never see again in the West—it would have been hard to ask for more from Capcom. We'll see if, now that the entire series has been released on modern platforms, Capcom decides to continue it in some form, especially given that the last original episode dates back to 2016.

While I wouldn't say that these are my favourite entries in the series, this collection of two games marks the official full English translation of the Ace Attorney, and that's something to be excited about. The amount of extra material is a treat for fans of Edgeworth and the amount of work that's gone into visually overhauling these two adventures is almost staggering. It's clear that Capcom is aware of the passionate fanbase and this hopefully signals a very bright future for the Ace Attorney franchise. Essential for fans of the series with some great deep-cuts for lore enthusiasts.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is the fittingly excellent final collection for this franchise, bringing over two spinoffs, including one that was never officially localized. That alone deserves celebration, but this sequel is at the franchise's heights, while its predecessor doesn't particularly stand out by comparison. Still, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is an undeniable must-play for franchise fans as we all await the series' future.

It is a must-have title for fans of the series and deserves to be in the library of every Adventure game fan.

Capcom’s decision to finally localise Prosecutor's Gambit is a tacit acknowledgment of fan dedication and an unspoken apology for its decade-long absence. The result is a collection that completes a vital piece of the Ace Attorney canon, proving that the wait was ultimately worth it. This superb duology is a must-own for any adventure game enthusiast or for anyone who enjoys tense stories about battles of wits and cunning. Sometimes, the most epic showdowns are two people outsmarting each other in a courtroom.

Despite some small issues, the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will be a wonderful experience for any Ace Attorney fan. It shines a much-needed light on the prosecutorial side of the courtroom, and leads players through the questions that have to be answered before a case can be brought to trial. Miles Edgeworth is also strong, holding his own as both a protagonist and Phoenix Wright’s rival, and I’d love to see him get a starring role more often!

The presence of Ace Attorney investigations 2 in this collection alone is reason enough to recommend it - this is one of the better titles in the entire series, available globally without hassle at last. Add on all the bells and whistles, as well the first game also being part of this package, and it's a no-brainer, especially if you are a series fan.

The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection takes the action away from the courtroom, with players instead poking their noses around crime scenes and interviewing bystanders in the hopes of putting together a solid case. What's more, the two games included here have been brilliantly remastered, bringing their characters to life like never before. It's just a shame that progression sometimes feels like it relies on trial and error.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is an excellent remaster of two great visual novels. If you’re a fan of the Ace Attorney series, then these are must-play. If you’re new to the Ace Attorney series, then I recommend starting with the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. My only complaint about these games is that they’re really similar to other games in the series, gameplay-wise. And they don’t have the series’ best stories. There are also only two games in this collection, when other series collections have three. But the price is right at $54.99 CAD, and they’re great games, despite not being the series’ best. The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is a loving remaster of two fun visual novels, one of which hasn’t been available until now.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection allows us to relive two interesting spin-offs that, without distorting anything of the typical setting of the series, can provide healthy entertainment for several dozen hours, each thanks to intriguing stories, well-characterized characters, investigations and exciting verbal confrontations. The massive presence of dialogues risks weighing down the pace of progress in some moments but fans of the genre would do well to consider the idea of ​​​​taking on the prosecutor's shoes.

An unmissable collection for all fans of the series, which offers a new and very welcome point of view outside the well-known courtrooms.

All in all, Ace Attorney Investigations is a simple and efficient package. Collecting two games that weren’t received well on launch and giving them an HD makeover. If you’re a fan of Ace Attorney games and haven’t played these titles, this is a fine way of doing so with the bonus features and gameplay options being the cherry on top of the cake.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection brings the entire series to modern consoles with obvious graphical improvements and a few extras. Fans will be delighted to try one of the games from the collection that was only released in Japan, although it is not translated into Spanish and still feels like a simple compilation.
