Sep 3, 2024Two of the best Ace Attorney games are given their due with another beautifully remastered collection that's every bit as essential as the rest of the series. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is simply fantastic. There's no arguing with that.

Sep 3, 2024It's been eight long years since we got the last game in the series, Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, and a new chapter is long overdue. Capcom hasn't announced anything yet, so the wait is probably going to be even longer, but a least the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection with its 60 to 70 hours of great gameplay and storytelling, gives us something to do in the meantime.

Alongside new quality-of-life features and development documents on characters and environments, this collection finally completes the series’ transition to modern platforms and brings an untranslated game westward for the first time. Highly recommended for Ace Attorney fans who’ve never played these games before.

Sep 3, 2024After many hours playing as detective Miles Edgeworth in the Ace Attorney collection, I am left with a bittersweet feeling. While it’s exciting to play as Edgeworth again, the original Ace Attorney formula seems to have been diluted to fit this character, who does not share the same role as the more well-known lawyers in the series. Despite not being a story about Phoenix Wright or Apollo Justice, the plot has interesting twists and mysteries to solve, although the pacing sometimes feels slow.
