    Ce jeu est top ! L’histoire est vraiment prenante, le gameplay est certes des fois un peu rigide mais on sent vraiment la pression de devoir se cacher pour éviter les ennemis. Les personnages sont vraiment excellents !

    Amazing game, the story keeps getting better and better the longer you play, even if it does take a little while to pick up. You really learn to care for these characters with very different personalities. Overall really engaging, and intensely paced. Gameplay is really up my alley too, if you like puzzle games with a lot of stealth, this is for you.     Where did this game come from? It wasn't hyped that much but turned out to be unreal.
    The first 10 minutes made me think it was going to be **** for some reason but it quickly turns that around.
    The story is one of the best I've ever seen in a game. Reminds me of the earlier seasons of Game of Thrones. The atmosphere is so good
    The gameplay is unorthodox but good as well. Solid 9.5/10

    As it's female-led, it has many similarities in look and feel with the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. This is high praise in my book. Plague Tale probably has the better narrative, better story, clearer story and more masterful narrative direction. Again, high praise in my book.

    It has as comparable believable world creation to Horizon Zero Dawn, high praise again. The sense of a real world, with real locations, over a great landscape is similar. Environments are not as detailed; yet, the reality and feel of interior spaces and rural villages is AAA professional

    Plague Tale is more horrific than either Tomb Raider or HZD. It uses many horror and plague tropes as gameplay elements. So be prepared for gratuitous landscapes of carnage, death and destruction If this doesn't bother you, the gameplay is AAA.    … Expand

    I'm not a particularly big fan of the gameplay and i wish the ending wasn't so sequel hinty but this game was surprisingly great lots of great set pieces and a good story. 89/100

    This game is a story telling masterpiece. A mostly linear game with realistic stealth and combat mechanics. The acting is top notch. The settings are beautiful. The game never disappoints and has you engrossed and striving to see what is next.

    Found this game on sale and what a find. Beautiful music and engrossing story carry you on an adventure in dark times. The gameplay is more stealth and puzzle with a touch of some action and a little bit of some rpg with how you upgrade your equipment. Fully recommend

    Excellent game. Very atmospheric, great music, great storytelling, beautiful and olays well. Highly recommend it if you’re into story-based adventure games. Not for the faint if heart though, its brutal (both in terms of violence and theme).

    A beautiful game with a wonderful story and characters to love and hate. The game contrast it’s beautiful set pieces and some generally horrifying moments. A highly enjoyable game i’ll remember for some time.

    The game is beautiful and amazing it is a story driven adventure which is thrillinh and fun! I feel like this is super great and the studio deserves a lot of support this is a very good game they've made!! It fell a little bit short in story as for me but a great game and worthplayint nonetheless!

    The Good:
    * storyline is beautiful, enthralling and thrilling; nice to also see a female character in the lead
    * restarting from last checkpoint is blissfully quick - it only takes as long as the very nice animation that transitions you to your past state * voice acting is very good - dramatic moments come through and set a very convincing mood * load screens are beautiful; also, when    The Good:
    * storyline is beautiful, enthralling and thrilling; nice to also see a female character in the lead
    * restarting from last checkpoint is blissfully quick - it only takes as long as the very nice animation that transitions you to your past state
    * voice acting is very good - dramatic moments come through and set a very convincing mood
    * load screens are beautiful; also, when starting the game up, you get a short text describing the situation: those are beautifully worded, and set the mood even before the game loads (great idea that one)
    * nice touches like the character's frightened breath accompany one through stealth moments - super nice touch
    * nice interaction between protagonists, with each having complementary skills; a VERY real sense of team-work is present
    * puzzles increase in difficulty to the point where several tries might be necessary - very satisfying once you do figure them out
    * soundtrack is vvvery on point

    The Mixed:
    * visuals are beautiful (played on a ps4 pro @ 1080) but stuck at 30fps the game is a bit jarry, especially on a large panel. either way - everything, all the assets are. simply. beautiful.
    * the rats offer a very interesting dynamic - I only wish they were solid ... as they are now they pass through objects and at times simply despawn/walk into into solid rock floors

    The Bad:
    * game mechanic is a bit underdeveloped, jumping over obstacles is a bit un-natural (not tragic though); in some forest scenes there are areas where the player can't walk ... invisible barriers mean all of a sudden you're walking on the spot, I would've liked a bit more attention to such details (like having bushes or something to fence in the explorable are (this is done mostly, but not always)

    Closing thoughts:
    * there are similarities between this game and The Last of Us, however, whereas realism is pushed to a scientific extreme in The Last of Us, a more lax approach is taken here; similar mood though - which I did enjoy
    * in my view any game that earns itself a comparison with TLoU is extremely worthy.
    * it also passed the threshold to ear a permanent spot in my collection - I usually sell off games after I'm done with them -- not this one    … Expand

    The characters are likable, the story is nice with a glimpse of fantasy mixed with medieval atmosphere.
    The gameplay isnt something to wow you, but given the setting its enough and its ok. Visually its quite beautiful and overall its a nice experience. The only con I could think of is probably the price from the get go but it will be a    A really nice game from an independent studio!

Sure, you encounter the stereotypical "rat in the basement" in various RPGs but Asobo created a creepy and deadly threat that keeps you on your toes. The story is very interesting and leaves you in the dark for quite some time. It builds up nicely and so does the relationship between the protagonists. I found myself hating the characters at some points and understanding why they acted the way they did later on. This is how character development should work. The environmental design is perfectly done. Stunning landscapes change into creepy and disgusting areas and back, each change reflected by the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack.
    The controls are a bit wonky at times and the walking/running looks slightly unnatural. Same applies to the facial animations. They often don't reflect the feelings that the top notch voice acting transports. Also, I would've wished for a slightly more challenging stealth and puzzle part. However, this is not an AAA developer and if you keep this in mind, it's an absolutely gorgeous game and the reason why I give it a 9 instead of an 8. Highly recommended.    … Expand

    Such a great game, a lot of the AAA companies could take a slice of it. Interesting and mysterious story. Lovable characters. The voices and especially the soundtrack were superb. The price is more than fair for the content you will get. For me the most surprising game of 2019 so far.

    This game deserves your hard earned cash! Do NOT trust the average review scores by major gaming websites. The story is GREAT, the graphics are GREAT and the game-play is also GREAT! End of story. ASOBO studio has tried something different where the player is not using classic weapons such as rifle, shotgun etc. Graphics 9/10, Audio 9/10, Gameplay 9/10, Loading 9/10.

    There were moments in other games, such as God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn where the pieces came together to tell a compelling story, but not since The Last of Us did I feel as emotionally engaged and so immersed in the game. What is amazing is that the elements and game play are very simple, nothing new, and almost casual.    This game oozes immersion, but not in ways one might think.

    There were moments in other games, such as God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn where the pieces came together to tell a compelling story, but not since The Last of Us did I feel as emotionally engaged and so immersed in the game.

    What is amazing is that the elements and game play are very simple, nothing new, and almost casual. It's not open world and it's almost on the rails at times as levels direct you from point A to point B. Puzzles are for the most part simple, and combat and stealth nothing new. It's not even a long game. However, the framework that holds it together from the music to the graphics to the pacing is scripted, acted, and directed to perfection.

    The unique and attractive gameplay, variety and fun of the game are its strengths.
    It has an excellent story that keeps the audience engaged.
    The game environment is very beautiful. Although it has small technical problems.

    One of the best titles of 2019 considering its budget. The rat swarm mechanics are frightening at times, while the story and gameplay ramps up signficantly as you progress. Even the voice acting is incredible. Definitely play!

    This game is The Last Of Us meets 13th century France.
    I stumbled upon this game by chance and as soon as I found it I knew I wanted this one. The story is great, the dialogue is amazing.
    Docked points for graphics. It didn't look as crisp as today's games look, but man is this game amazing! If in doubt about this one I can tell you you'll love it!

He does get a power by the end of the game but it comes too late. Other than that, if you like games like the FIRST The Last Of Us or Thief series, this game is a MUST.     Stealth and story lead the way in this awesome 10 hour game! Really felt connected to the characters. The mood of the game was set and maintained well to always make things feel uneasy and dark although the older sister must keep hope and keep pushing for her brother.

    I can’t recall how I heard about this game, but I’m certainly glad I did. The story for the game and utilization of environmental elements is definitely unique. The characters are memorable, and were easy to grow an emotion attachment to. The only downside of the game for me was the emphasis on stealth. Stealth has never been my strongpoint when it comes to gaming.

While you shouldn't expect wow-factor action, it's mostly stealth and a very linear gameplay, this game is so well designed and immersive that it will compensate for everything.

    I was interested in the release of the game because it was a story driven game based on the black death and it intrigued me, I am glad I played it, because it was a blast, on the shorter side but well worth it.

    I must say that I've been surprised by how easily I got engaged in the story. You really get invested into it and it's a damn good one. The ost, voiceacting, level design are all on point. Despite the amazing story, gameplay wasn't really that great, nothing "wow" about it. I highly recommend this to everyone that loves a well written game and we don't really have enough of these these days.

The story showing these characters progressing, specifically being hopeless against the rats in the beginning then at the end of the story being able to weaponize then shows the growth of the characters beautifully. The story absolutely blew me away and I enjoyed it so much more than I thought.

    I would sometimes find the mechanics a little annoying, however, once I figured out I should probably focus on upgrades a little bit more than I had been I had a much more fun time.

    Beautiful game with an interesting story. Generally I don't like games that are one big escort mission, but it never became tedious in this... just another obstacle to overcome. Loved the mechanics of it, the graphics, the story... very little not to recommend about this game.

    This game was awesome, and also freaked me out a bit!

    I had fun with this game, but points gave me more of a thrill. The environment matched the toned, and the horror of the story.

    I lovy story based games, and i quite liked this one also. I like the way it was written, with many small scenes that pulls you right into the characters feelings. Not complicated but a nice plot leaves almost no suprises, aside the 1hour. But its not bad at all.

    Got this game free from playstation plus, one of the best free psplus game recently! In overall a game with great story especially with awesome dynamic 4k graphic, characters interaction is simple and just nice not too lengthy, it really make u feel the sadness of plague outbreak historically back then during 1300+.

    (9) Superb. Just shy of gaming nirvana, this score is a high recommendation because the game reviewed is head-and-shoulders above its competition.

    This game was in my backlog for a while, didn’t think the rat infested world what be interesting. I was mistaken the story is great. Each chapter felt evenly paced and the world matched the story. There was a lot more gameplay than I was expecting since people called it a glorified walking simulator. I thought they did a good job with coming up with different gaming mechanics that made sense with the characters and world. Lot of games just throw multiple gameplay mechanics into the world so people wouldn’t get bored but they don’t fit into the world. They could work on opening up the levels a bit more. Most of the game there is only one path to take. The cast/voiceovers where great. The story developed nicely and kept you wanting to continue. I look forward to the next game. You play as Amicia, who is suddenly thrust into danger with her brother Hugo as a Plague sweeps across Europe. There are several characters you meet along the way with my favorite being Lucas. He is an extremely intelligent prodigy in the alchemical arts. He joins Amicia and Hugo on their journey and even teaches Amicia how to use alchemy to avoid and even vanquish her foes. The combat is both amazing and the only misstep in an otherwise flawless game. When you are sneaking around in stealth or attacking from stealth the combat is fantastic. However, when you are spotted and you have to engage in hand to hand combat the devs didn't really give you anyway to defend yourself from pursuers who are faster than you are. So you will inevitably get caught and be instantly killed. There is an alchemical weapon you can use to escape an enemy that catches you but it is very expensive in the resources it requires to make so I usually chose to restart the checkpoint rather than waste precious resources. Puzzles are an integral part of the A Plague Tale: Innocence experience and all of them are really well designed and a joy to figure out. There are a number of boss fights in the game with the final boss being simply amazing and a fight I find myself coming back to again and again to give him a good whack in the head with a rock. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy story driven linear experiences.… Expand

    Cudos for the writers for making the kids realistic but also not annoying, I very much enjoyed all of the story and characters.

    The gameplay is fun, and they do a good job of keeping things fresh by giving you new tools to navigate the environment. The graphics, music and acting are pretty decent too, but the story is where it really shines. You really come to care for your ragtag band of misfits, and the interaction between the big sister and her pain in the bum brother is a real highlight.

    So why the 8? Well, did I mention I hate boss fights? Especially ones where there is an unskippable talking bit before them, so when you die, you have to go through all that again? Also, one-hit kills. I totally get it, and they make sense for most of the game, and then archers appear, and, well, those guys can go *£&%*£$£^*^£

    *grumbles*

    Anyway, it's a great game that is the perfect length and well worth the price of admission, but it does have its little niggles that will make your teeth grind.    … Expand

    - Graphics - For some reason to me they look a little blurry/foggy/hazy on a ps pro. Despite me fiddling with various settings I wasn’t 100% happy (I got used to it) but perhaps its partly to do with the art style?

    - Stealth (+movement?) - Later in the game when the difficulty ramps up a bit on a few occasions I felt frustrated by a few sections & ended up dying on a few occasions whilst trial & error-ing my way through. This may partly be down to poor choice on my part, but sometimes solid cover as opposed to long grass led to a few awkward camera moments and being detected by ranged enemies. Basically at times when you are presented with various options, it’s difficult to know the best one.

    - Replayability - Whilst I’m probably going to spend some time gathering in game collectibles to obtain the platinum trophy, beyond that I don’t think there’s much else... Whilst the game does have a chapter select & easily tracks what you’ve collected so far unfortunately you can’t replay earlier chapters with your current upgrades. I was disappointed to discover this earlier, as it would have been cool to go back to earlier parts of the game all ‘maxed out’.
    As for dlc? I’ve not heard anything and I’m not sure its the sort of game where dlc would be added which is a shame. Plus I think it’s a small studio so probably not :/

    Summary:
    Solid story with good characters & interesting gameplay unlike anything you’ve probably played. It’s dark, gritty, you feel vulnerable & enemies pose a real threat if you aren’t careful in your approach (particularly end-game). The game challenges the player to use a variety of different mechanics to manipulate their environment. A few ‘dodgy’ stealth sections, non-sharp graphics & a lack of replayability just slightly take the shine off this gem of a find, but it’s a well put together game nonetheless. 8/10.    … Expand

    Very surprised by this little game. Picked up when on sale and didn't regret it.
    Interesting use of limited range weapons, stealth and "extra" abilities later on. It's suspenseful as fun. Short chapters make this an easy on to pop in and out of. Must play for lovers of indie games!

    Cons: Uninteresting gameplay. AI are idiots. Stealth is weak. Puzzles are childsplay. No FOV slider. Camera is tied to movement when in motion making it impossible to survey your surroundings and enjoy the graphics unless you stand still.     Wasn't sure about this game but it has suprised me with a good story, voice acting and an interesting gameplay. Really enjoying it as it's different from what's out just now.

    There’s a lot lifted from other games in A Plague Tale, but somehow there’s nothing cynical about it. This is a full-hearted reach for the big time of AAA storytelling that succeeds in the most important departments, thanks to its sparkling polish and subtle characterisation. It’s one of a handful of games for which I could tell you the personality traits and motivations of not just the protagonists, but four or five secondary characters. Consider this review a carrier: Asobo Studio is a name that’s going to spread.

    Aside from the basic gameplay and a few rough edges, A Plague Tale: Innocence tells an incredibly gripping story about a couple of kids in the most grim circumstances imaginable. It nails the horrifying setting with standout visuals and a thick atmosphere that is worth experiencing at least once. If you're looking for the next great story to play through, A Plague Tale is definitely it.

    I thoroughly enjoyed A Plague Tale: Innocence from start to finish and cannot fault this title at all. While the gameplay is fluid that is accompanied by excellent graphics and audio, where A Plague Tale – Innocence shines is with its characters and the way it tells their story. So if you’re upset at how Game of Thrones ended and need a story that is told correctly, A Plague Tale – Innocence does that flawlessly.
