    the worst game of the trilogy, was really boring, only plane mission was compelling

    There are not many games like Uncharted, that's for sure. Uncharted 3 for me though, fails to accomplish what it's predecessors excelled at: exploring the game feels shallow somehow, maybe because of the bad transitions between shootouts and exploring. The graphics are way better than the previous games, but that comes with a weird decision to make enemies not flinch when shot, which isThere are not many games like Uncharted, that's for sure. The graphics are way better than the previous games, but that comes with a weird decision to make enemies not flinch when shot, which is vastly disappointing; it steals from the realism aspect and makes the shooting far less enjoyable than before. Besides all that, it's a fun game and one that you will enjoy yourself playing start to finish. It's more cinematic than Uncharted 1 and 2 for sure, something I sometimes found frustrating but sometimes very interesting, though the story in my opinion is inferior to any other Uncharted game especially when it comes to it's conclusion. For me, this is the black sheep of the Uncharted series but not to say it's a bad game at all. What you love about Uncharted is here - just some drawbacks this time.     You can expect the same type of cinematic experience from UC2, in UC3.

    - Gameplay - The platforming and movement controls are all as fluent as they were in Uncharted 2. The devs improved on the fist to fist combat system, giving you more options after a parry, and more ways to use the environment for a finishing blow. - Narrative - The story and characters are top notch as expected    You can expect the same type of cinematic experience from UC2, in UC3.

    - Gameplay -
    The platforming and movement controls are all as fluent as they were in Uncharted 2. The devs improved on the fist to fist combat system, giving you more options after a parry, and more ways to use the environment for a finishing blow.

    - Narrative -
    The story and characters are top notch as expected from Uncharted. You see old faces return and a few new ones, and the same kind of humor and intrigue within the dialogues. This entry also sheds some light on Drake's and Sully's past, which is awesome if you've followed the protagonists journey since Uncharted 1.

    - Visual & Sound -
    As you would expect from a Uncharted game, you'll be taken to various locations. Most notably, there's an awesome desert sequence, where the game tries to simulate the dread and hopelessness of being stranded in the middle of a desert. I thought this part was pretty cool. There are also a number of sequences where Drake is in a trance state. The visual effects used in these sequences were interesting. And of course, you can expect epic tracks during intense action sequences.- -

    - Replay value -
    UC3 features multiplayer battles and co-op. I personally never tried it, but it think it'd definitely give you a reason to go back and play after the single player campaign. There are also a bunch of awesome "making of" art and videos you can unlock, which are all interesting.

    Best game franchise ever. This game franchise was my childhood. Mix of adventure, shootings, fights, jumps... Brilliant cut-scenes, figures, epic storyline, just in one word best.

    Bueno, la tercera entrega de la saga, a diferencia de las dos que le preceden, muy similares entre a sí a simple vista, cambia la fórmula original y hace un cambio notable en la jugabilidad. En Uncharted 2, perfeccionaron la terrible jugabilidad que ofrecía la primera parte, por ello pienso que cambiar este aspecto en el tercer juego es un error gravísimo. El sistema de disparo empeoraBueno, la tercera entrega de la saga, a diferencia de las dos que le preceden, muy similares entre a sí a simple vista, cambia la fórmula original y hace un cambio notable en la jugabilidad. En Uncharted 2, perfeccionaron la terrible jugabilidad que ofrecía la primera parte, por ello pienso que cambiar este aspecto en el tercer juego es un error gravísimo. El sistema de disparo empeora mucho; la escalada es similar pero tiene ligeros matices que en ocasiones te hace sentir raro, pero aún así no es un aspecto negativo en este videojuego; esta vez se le da mas importancia al combate cuerpo a cuerpo, no entiendo el motivo ya que consiste en darle a tres botones; la historia no es nada del otro mundo, supongo que es acorde al proyecto; ya sabemos como trabaja Naughty Dog, y gráficamente no se le puede poner ninguna pega; los puzzles en esta entrega son más largos, pesados y frustantes, no le aportan nada positivo al desarrollo de la historia; la duración es entorno a 7 horas, aceptable; y por último, la diversión que nos ofrece el juego. Personalmente, este es el punto mas difícil de criticar, es decir, ¿el videojuego, a rasgos generales, está bien hecho? Sí. ¿Es divertido? No. Puede llegar a ser entetenido porque realmente está bien realizado, pero no nos ofrece la diversión que nos ofrecía Uncharted 2. No sabría decir si es el cambio en la jugabilidad, la irrelevancia que genera la historia, o la repetividad de las misiones, pero este juego no es nada divertido. Por eso creo que aunque la ejecución se buena, el resultado es mediocre.

    It´s 2021, found an old working PS3 and I am revisiting the top PS3 games recommended by Metacritic. So far, the games with scores around 9 are fantastic, however Uncharted 3 seems the exception to me.

    I think it is absurdly overrated. I swear I have tried to like the game, but from all edges seems an unfinished product anywhere outside the beautiful graphics and lighting.     Kind of reminds me to those laserdisc games of the mid 80s, where you had to find the correct sequence, or a "death scene" was played.

    The platform engine is as well limited and bold. The AI of the enemies? come on! Doom 1 was far more elaborate.

    Th story, gameplay, graphics, voice acting, everything is perfect in this game. Even thought the singleplayer felt a little too short, the multiplayer is also them ost fun you'll have this year.

    It has all the pros of the previous versions plus better movement animations which we see more of these in naughty dog's next game,"the last of us" music gives you goosebumps, storytelling is still amazing and surprises you though felt a little repeated.

    Most frustrating and plain unfun game from sony I've ever played. Gun play is atrocious compared to UC2. Enemies are bulletsponges, bulletvest enemies take like 3 clips to kill on normal. Game constantly throws at you snipers and grante launchers in every shooting sequence. It's mechanic force you to take a cover yet you constantly have to move and look at your back because enemies spawnMost frustrating and plain unfun game from sony I've ever played. Moreover f@ckin ret4rd Drake always takes cover when you want him to roll and rolls when you want him to take a cover, or starts hanging when you want him just to jump.
    There even more f@ckin climbing (push x) and ruining (hold forward) sequences that feel like interactive cut scene. Game really feels like a movie, and a **** one. Plot is beyond ret4rded and even get unnecessary filer with pirates.

The only annoying thing is, there is not aim assist in the game. Stupidly annoying. I mean its not that hard to put an aim assist option right? Come on. It is a Playstation game, Sony.     This franchise never seaze to amaze, slightly equal to the previous UN2 but not better, yet smart sequel’s sequel, great missions and locations, better graphics and more insane set-pieces, action packed but doesn’t feel connected might be story flawed but still better than many games out there, the soundtrack is the best in the series, a nearly 9.5/10 must play masterpiece .

    My favourite Uncharted game. Naughty Dog were at their finest with this one in my opinion and the way they pushed the CELL was amazing. In some regards, I miss Amy Hennig's direction for the studio.

    Very similar to the previous game. Graphics are beautiful for the time, animations are still high quality. But after a very strong start the story starts loosing focus and the set pieces although good aren't anywhere near number 2. Finally, third times a charm because the final boss is just as garbage as the other 2 games. It may sound harsh and nit picky but in the end it is still a greatVery similar to the previous game.     This game is a low 7. Wow this is disappointing. You can skip this and miss nothing. Nothing of consequence happens that you haven't already seen. The flashback stuff is great. But it's not even an hour of the game. The story is so sloppily written, half assed,and a bit on the nose. I say that because it feels inauthentic to Uncharted 2 as a comparison.

    Great story, great graphs, awesome soundtrack full of thrilling moments and amazing gameplay. The perfect ending for a Ps3 trilogy. Drakes Deception, is one of those games you want to play every once in a while.

    (humms nate s theme while giving this a 10/10) The first 2 two hours of this might be pretty slow but after dumping chloe the game sets a new bar for action cinematic shooting story everything game

    It's a pretty cool movie game, you feels like you are in a Indiana Jones' movie. But that's it, you gonna have a lot of fun sometimes, but you are goin to watch more than play, in each 10 minutes there is a cutscene, you can clock that if you want. This one is problaby the worst of the series

Meu único ponto fraco nesse jogo, é que os vilões não convencem como grandes vilões pela falta de imponência nos seus visuais e ações.     It was really a beautiful and amazing game, especially the final moments of the game (from the crash of the cargo plane into the desert) which makes the game even more interesting. Since the plane crash in that desert, Nathan had many nightmares and mirages, and each time these illusions were worse than before, in the city of Ubar, Nathan had nightmares again, and even those nightmaresIt was really a beautiful and amazing game, especially the final moments of the game (from the crash of the cargo plane into the desert) which makes the game even more interesting. Since the plane crash in that desert, Nathan had many nightmares and mirages, and each time these illusions were worse than before, in the city of Ubar, Nathan had nightmares again, and even those nightmares were even more terrifying, and the game was extremely mysterious. and gave the feeling that we are getting ourselves into trouble with an endless puzzle. And all the final moments of the game were really beautiful, stressful and exciting, and in general, Naughty Dog really used his maximum power for the final moments of this game and really created one of the most beautiful final moments among all his games.

    The story of the game was also extremely beautiful, in the story of this game it was shown that the friendship between Sally and Nathan is much deeper than what we thought, and that they were trying to find Francis Drake again was really interesting.

    The gameplay of the game was really beautiful, just like all Naughty Dog games, and this is the nature of Naughty Dog, which does not make any game less than a masterpiece, and I really have no words for the gameplay, except to say that the gameplay was "great".
    Although the puzzles in this game were a bit frustrating because there weren't enough clues to solve them, this is quite a minor problem.


    Naughty Dog should really remake uncharted 1, uncharted 2, and uncharted 3 like the last of us 1, because this game really deserves to be revived and a game this attractive should not be forgotten.    … Expand

    This game is exactly what fans of this serious would expect it to be. There are a bit more puzzles and alternative game play than shooting this time around. It takes a few chapters until you’re shooting. It’s really fun game. My only complaint is a stupidly-hard puzzle. You’ll know when you get there. It’s not intuitive or fun.

    U3 is a very good game for many personal reasons for me. It's my first uncharted game ever which gives me a lot of nostagia so obviously i have a lot of bias for it. It's still not my favorite uncharted but I still think this game is fantastic. Aside, from the plot holes in the story and the weak villains there's still great things as usual like the set pieces, puzzles, and the combat. ButU3 is a very good game for many personal reasons for me. It's my first uncharted game ever which gives me a lot of nostagia so obviously i have a lot of bias for it.     This is in fact the first uncharted game for me. It introduced Naughty Dog to me and I then started a ten years of love for their game. The airplane sequence really shocked me back then. It's something I've never seen before. Unfortunately I think the story is a bit forced toward the end. For instance the chasing sequence later in the game.     The Uncharted series is probably my favourite game series of all time and man, I love this game. I, personally like this game more than Uncharted 2 because there are so many different locations and the story is one of the best und most fun I know.

    Great but not as good as the games before. This game compared to others of the same year still stands out as a gem. Even though it’s not as good it still can compete with games generations later. Don’t overlook that.

    Very much more of the same, but it's another very well designed and polished action adventure with a cinematic plot and quality voice acting. All three are very similar, but that doesn't matter because all three are great.

    The absolute best uncharted game ever created, I love it, it has a great story the best gameplay in the entire series, great level design, ahead of their time graphics, iconic scenes and the second best boss fight in the series.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Way better than one, quite worse than 2. Gameplay and story are still not great, but the setpieces, the fun and the characters help a lot. The plot cops out of its ambition, and the plot being more ambitious with its themes was also weird. Last but not least, WHAT THE **** IS TALBOT? IS HE A LIZARD MAN? There are many satisfying set pieces, in fact maybe a couple more than UC2 and the characters still remain charming and endearing. However this is pretty much the same story and basic game as UC2. But sadly even with these improvements the game feel is off, bullet impact animations have been greatly reduced and sometimes you will find yourself firing at an enemy who receives no hit stun, making some of the guns feel weaker in this game. Also the enemy AI occasionally hiccups in major ways that I never found in my brief experience with UC2. overall though this is roughly the same experience as UC2. Overindulgent boring climbing sequences, cookie cutter macguffin plot riddled with holes, charming characters, exciting set pieces, serviceable gameplay. It's enjoyable but nothing special in my opinion.… Expand

    My personal favorite of the four mainline titles, Uncharted 3 brings the best combat, the best puzzles, and arguably some of the best action sequences. Nathan Drake does not hold back in this intense and heartfelt entry, improving on the previous two games in just about every way.

    UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception is exactly what I expected from Uncharted originally. Lots of action with an interesting story and backstory. Also, there are some really interesting and challenging puzzles in this game, and the location with the abandoned ships is just breathtaking!

    Too many puzzles. There are some chapters where you find yourself doing boring puzzles for too long. They are not fun and intuitive most of the time. Additionally, these puzzles are connected to the story. Normally, that would be a great way to engage us with the problem at hand. Unfortunately, the story is boring as hell. This brings me to the next major issue.

    Suspension of disbelief doesn't work because this game rejects logic to benefit itself - almost every damn time. Uncharted 1 and 2 had crazy things going on, but you don't care that much. Here, it's disrespectful to the player. The characters' actions lack logic, and it also reflects in the gameplay. There's one part that exemplifies what I'm talking about. Basically, you have to light up some things to scare the spiders. The thing is: you have to throw the torch at it. If you miss, the fcking torch just respawn at the same locations you got it. Like... it magically appears. Dude, these kinds of things happen throughout the entire game. It's the developers telling you: "We're too lazy to create something believable, so deal with this **** and try again." It feels manipulative as hell. Feels manipulative af. And when you're stressed out because this game, especially in higher difficulties, is incredibly hard (since there's no logic and enemies can survive multiple headshots and kill you with one magazine), you start to get pissed off at how linear this experience is. You have to do things their way, and that's it.

    To make matters worse, they even locked the general sensitivity so you can't turn around fast. Let me guess... the cinematic experience would be harmed by agility, right? oh, fck off. You can only speed up the ADS sens (it is still slow at the highest speed). Obviously, your enemies will hitkill you anyway.

    Those high scores show how people aren't really concerned about gameplay quality. Just give them a linear path, a mediocre story, and that's it. Another amazing game by Sony.

    I hope Uncharted 4 will be different, but it probably won't.    … Expand

    Personally I think the history from this game is as good as the 2 one but it is an amazing history nonetheless. It was an amazing ending for a trilogy until uncharted 4 came out.

    De los 3 primeros Uncharted. Este fue el que más de emociono. Una historia frenética que vale la pena ver. Una historia sorprendente. Uno de los mejores videojuegos de la PS3 y hasta hoy en día es fácil de obtener. Merece la pena y por mi es un 10/10

    What can I say other than the train scene? This game is not my personal favorite and may be my least favorite in the seriers. However when this is considered your worst game youre doing something right.

    El único defecto de éste juego es que es demasiado similar a la segunda parte. Aunque tiene una historia superior, una mayor evolución en los personajes, el desierto y la escena del avión. Otra obra maestra de naughty dog.

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable. You never feel like an outsider. If anything, you'll feel right at home, ensconced in the constant drama of this loveable cast of returning reprobates and reprehensible villains. [Dec 2011, p60]
