    One of the greatest PS3 games ever IMO. Love the character synopsis and the plot that goes with it. Great graphics and 'that' airplane scene is iconic. Overal great game and well worth checking out.

    Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception is my favorite game on the PS3. It out does Uncharted 2 by a mile, the story is great and the gameplay has been improved yet again, the set pieces in this game are amazing and the multiplayer mode is a lot better than before. This game is a masterpiece 10/10 any day!

    Uncharted 3 is a masterpiece. Not as good as 2, but still very fun. Great game, great graphics, and very realistic gameplay. This game is a must.

    The third part of Uncharted looks great, with more epic sequences than the previous game, however, the story (although it tries to have more weight with flashbacks and more characters) still lacks a certain weight, the gameplay has not been as polished but It keeps working and being very fun. It has some very tedious levels and I think it does not beat the second part.

    It's true that the story of Uncharted 3 sometimes slows down the pace of the game, but it quickens up fluidly and then has awesome action sequences. The voice cast will keep your interest even when the action momentarily dies down. If not, then the orchestra music will captivate. There was no need for Naughty Dog make big changes to the combat because the previous game, Uncharted 2, wasIt's true that the story of Uncharted 3 sometimes slows down the pace of the game, but it quickens up fluidly and then has awesome action sequences.     Every One love Uncharted 2 more then 3 but in my opinion is 3 is better, and here is the reason

    Bigger and better than it's predecessor in every way, Drake's Deception brings out the big guns but fails to think of a more interesting story concept than the one that was already used in the previous two games and thus starts feeling a bit predicatble.

    In my opinion, Drake's Deception is the best of the trilogy. It had the most interesting story and most cinematic scenes of the three. Even after some many years it is still amazing.

    The young drake/sully-background is touching, story wise. I would have liked more of that. As for gameplay, only the second quarter had a peak of annoyances, otherwise it was a flowing experience, with great gunfights giving opportunity for creative solutions.

    I hated playing this game. The game was too Repetitive and bad maps. Escaping the boat was the worst part because it was dragged across 3-4 chapters and everything was predictable. I’ve recently played the first 2, so this one is a big let down. Hopefully the 4th installment is nothing like my experience with this one

    De los juegos que te hacen comprar una consola, sin palabras, no me aburro del carismático Drake. Lo he jugado en pleno 2019, la versión Remasterizada de PS4 y es una gozada, ha envejecido muy bien el juego. La historia de 10, la única pega sería el bullet impact sobre los enemigos por decir algo pero perfectamente comprensible para un juego del 2011.

    I have lots of dear nostalgic memories about this game when i first played it in 2011 on ps3 but recently i gave another go to the uncharted trilogy with next gen ps4. I have to say that this game is still as awesome as in 2011. I have to say that this game is still as awesome as in 2011. Love how they finally implemented good close combat system to the game that is still to this day fun and brutal. I just love to replay missions and just beat enemies in close combat, it never gets old! Drake's deception has maybe three times more epic moments than the previous adaptations which includes bar fights, sinking ships and falling planes. Those moments are just best in the series. Soundtrack is incredible and it still gives me goosebumps.
    This game has almost none negative things that really affect the gameplay than movement system being sometimes kinda clunky. But i have to name couple of them. AGAIN the main villain and their story arc is just mediocre. They are just these bad guys without better than mediocre motives. Even the plot feels little bit ripped from the last game with all the lost cities and stuff. Just with a different location moving from snowy mountains to huge deserts. On top of the final act is just like from the last game. Nothing new. Just the same old plot used again. I was going to give this game 9/10 but after writing this review I decided that it's closer to 8 than 9
    I fully recommend Uncharted 3 to all action/adventure game fans and if you played the first two you have to play this too to complete the trilogy

    Part 2 of this series is, to my mind, the least of the 4. Still a game that is good for hours of fun but in the shadow of the other parts.

    Nothing changed of course in the concept. Strong story, beautiful locations and lots of adventure!

    So Part 3 has some very interesting parts but also some which are very boring.

    Story

    For the most part I liked the story, but it is again a world saving mission. The Enemy was at the beginning very interesting but at the end it was just the same. There were parts which were about Drake and for me that was very interesting. Cause they didnt go deeper into this it was a missed opportunity for me.

    Gameplay

    Action Gameplay was better, better weapons more ways to counter (throwing the grenades back e.g.) but its just not that good aged weapon gameplay. For me again there were to less riddles and they are way to easy, the climbing parts were cool though.

    Scenery/Graphics

    They step up in Graphics and the cutscenes, there were a lot of very cool video sequences or parts. For Example the Convoy and the horse riding were like an Indie Film. But the Part in France in that big building were just to much for me. Again and again they just wanted to put more destruction on top of everything. You fall and fall and fall down, it was just to much; I really didnt liked that part.

    Summary

    Sometimes less is actually more. I think this is a good action adventure, but it was sometimes just to much of Explosions, Destruction and more. A little bit less would have been good, also the story kinda lost me at the end, they just didnt went the way I would have liked, instead it was the same worldsaving scenario. But all in all good game 7/10.    … Expand

    Great game but I consider it less than "among thieves" and " A thief's end " This game was so messy and suffered from a lot of problems :
    -The plot wasn't as good as the 2nd game ❌
    -The combats were medium, flawful and duplicate❌
    -There's a huge problem with pacing ❌
    -The game's sequence of events is basically just a reproduction of the events of the previous one and that was so ovbious❌
    -There were some issues with the gameplay The game was slow-paced in the first half and fast-paced in the 2nd ! ❌
    -The villains did not take enough time to be built and developped or rather they were poorly written ❌ : Marlowe's character was terrible and simply did nothing in the game and in regards of Talbot the writers chose to keep him strange and mysterious hopefully something at the end will be revealed about him but instead nothing happened     … Expand

BUT WHY is 3rd game so call-of-duty like, why so much shooting, why so much realism, why so little story, why enemies are unrealistically difficult to kill? When you have to shoot someone with bazooka 3x in a raw, throw your controller on a wall and scream from frustration..OK. So I am personally in love with the whole series. No doubt one of the iconic and amazing story lines out there. BUT WHY is 3rd game so call-of-duty like, why so much shooting, why so much realism, why so little story, why enemies are unrealistically difficult to kill? When you have to shoot someone with bazooka 3x in a raw, throw your controller on a wall and scream from frustration.. will lead to disliking a game. OK. Desert scene? E P I C.     Not worth playing. These game is pretty much an action movie, where your actions are limited and repetitive. I can´t count how many times I have pressed triangle to open a door, look for a box to jump on, or watched how the character does all sorts of trickery without me even interacting.

    The visuals are definitely breathtaking for PS3 console, the story is fascinating and simply awesome. Unfortunately gameplay of Uncharted 3 is not neverending.
    What i love about this game and Uncharted games at all is that "nonstop action".
    Perfect ending of one era. 10/10 game.

    Its a MUSTPLAY game for sure :-)

    Although similar, a pretty big step back compared to Uncharted 2. While the ending (last quarter of the game) has some nice ideas and almost reaches the same heights, this remains recommended only for "fans of the genre"

Good pacing, amazing set pieces, well written characters, constant action, great story and enjoyable gameplay made it a masterpiece for me. I've seen a lot of people complaining about locations always changing after few chapters, but for me it was a good thing, because every area was unique and we could explore it and experience it in very different ways. One of the best thing in the game for me was that Sully was with us nearly through the entire game which is a great thing, because i think he is the best character in the series. And they even made 2 separate chapters telling us and showing how Nate and Victor got along. That's why it was kinda sad when Sully suddenly 'died' because i got really attached to him while playing this game and the prequels, so i got shocked and happy the minute i realised that his 'death' was just Nate's illusion. The villains in this game weren't as good as in the previous games and i totally understand the criticism at those characters, because they left as missed opportunities for many people including me, although they still weren't the worst villains in he series for me. And i forgot to mention the soundtrack. It is the best in the series without a doubt, It is very climatic and matches the enviroment you are currently in. As for the gameplay, it felt pretty enjoyable and smooth even adding a few more mechanics such as grenade throwback or takedown from above. The singleplayer campaign even had my favourite weapon in the franchise which is G-MAL, which a lot of people hated i don't know why. I'm gonna admit that AI in this game was pretty clunky, but every Uncharted has this problem when you don't play on harder difficulties. Also i gotta include voice cast
    which did an amazing job at Motion Capture for this game and their voice acting was just perfect, especially Richard McGonagle's. Also i want to thank Amy Hennig for making this beautiful franchise.    … Expand

    The adventure/exploration part of the is interesting and fun. Some very unique places / situations. But the game itself is pretty bad. It is a single formula repeated 1000 times. You go to some place, the game throws you to a tricky situation, spawns all enemies which you need to shoot to advance. Again and again. There is only one way how to play it. (Applies to SP only, haven't played the MP).

    I played the PS4 version and it is great, but in my play through got a little overwhelmed with the controls different from the previous entries in the Uncharted games, also i encountered a lot... and i mean a lot of bugs in the remastered PS4 version. But is probably just me. The villains in the Uncharted series have never really been that good, but they are absolutely terrible in this game, and quite frankly don't belong in this game.     Replayed recently and was pretty disappointed. Set pieces and characters are high points, but the location jumping and winding narrative took me out of the experience. Not a bad game by any means but a low point in the series.

    I think this entry in the series is a bit underrated within the fandom of Uncharted. I really like it almost as much as Uncharted2. Obviously Uncharted 2 did some crazy things for the first time.. and this one certainly doesn't make any huge jumps.. but still has some of the most memorable set pieces in the whole series.

    This game has only two minuses:
    1. Kinda too short ending. I felt like it ended up too easy and the fight against final boss seemed too easy and short, not like regular fights against final boss.
    2. Too many understatements between 2nd and 3rd part, for example what happened between Nathan and Elena.
    Besides these two aspects, the game was perfect.

    I think it combined the best of the previous entries in terms of mechanics and Story as well as exploring the vast Rub' al Khali aka The Empty in search of the Pillars of Iram aka the Atlantis Of The Sands as well fun romp in the vein of Indiana Jones Series and The Mummy series

Nicht umsonst hat Crystal Dynamics bei ihrem Tomb Raider Reboot ordentlich bei Uncharted abgekupfert, denn die Formel funktioniert einfach und Naughty Dog perfektioniert sie stetig weiter.     Uncharted 3: Drake´s Deception is a dignified successor to its nearly perfect predecessor. Everything from visuals to story and atmosphere is breathtaking. While the second Uncharted is still the better game, you can´t go wrong with buying this one. Precious!

The two have improved them dramatically and the three is still honing them to perfection. In the second part, I praised the snowy locations, but it's even better here. We will see the desert and I love the desert and this was perhaps the best I've experienced in the game. In addition to all this, the beautiful graphics, which already excelled in pairs and were slightly improved here. As far as the story is concerned, here it is in my opinion the best of the whole series. I don't want to spoiler much, but right at the beginning of the game it all looks pretty inconspicuous to us, but it's going to crumble fast enough and a plot is made right away and yes, as I mentioned, it happens quickly and that's exactly the key to the whole game. Everything is fast here! The game has an incredible pace and especially the last hours of the game is the absolute adrenaline that the game will release on you and you won't even be able to breathe at that moment. In addition to all this, a perfect negative, which improves it all a bit and one passage with it was really a luxury, but again I don't want to spoiler.     2021 review, it doesn't age well.
    it feels a bit generic and super repetitive, when you encounter the big guys that you need to defeat hand to hand for the 5th time you just want to kill yourself.
    They added nothing new compared to Uncharted 2.
    Voice acting was good, and some other elements are good too but I give it a 5 because I was expecting more after the 2nd installment in the series

    Very long/annoying combat. Annoying difficulty spikes. Average cover shooter with good graphics and good story.
    Pacing issues, some combat too long. No new mechanics in terms of gameplay through out the entire game

    Has by far the best set pieces of the PS3 trilogy, the falling plane section being so breath-taking it instantly became Uncharted's icon. Best gunplay and story progression, with some dull parts, the highest highs with the lowest lows of the trilogy, but fortunately for the game, I value the good **** more than the bad ****.

    A great all round experience, visually stunning. The villains here are overall better than Uncharted 4, 2 and 1, even if they are caked in plot-holes.

    An all round enjoyable experiences the multiplayer was addictive and I sunk hundreds of hours into that.

    This game is just amazing. What can I tell? Great story, great atmosphere, great and smart dialogs, great characters, great graphics, the flow is so dynamic and it makes you wanna live again. Everything fits just great. Pure fun! An unforgettable, epic game that just makes you wanna keep playing. 10/10

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable. You never feel like an outsider. If anything, you'll feel right at home, ensconced in the constant drama of this loveable cast of returning reprobates and reprehensible villains. [Dec 2011, p60]

    Only a few camera troubles stopped us from giving Drake's Deception the highest rating. Uncharted 3 is without doubt the best PS3 exclusive game of this year. [Dec 2011]
