    Wow!!!!! so much better than Uncharted 2. Very close to the best game I've played, and I've played a heap! They've really captured that action movie style. Great Story! Excellent Graphics! All around good fun! Highly recommended.

    Uncharted 3 is my 2011 game of the year. The action will leave you breathless, the multiplayer is pretty good, and the great story keeps on rolling. Nathan Drake is always good for a funny pun, and IMO one of the funnier game characters.I found myself holding my breath multiple times during the story mode. This game is a must buy, and you need to buy it now!

    What a game. I loved the first two Uncharteds, Drakes Fortune was great fun and had some brilliant moments, Among Thieves was absolutely fantastic and Drakes Deception is a masterpiece. Everything feels so elegantly put together, the cut scenes are brilliantly written and acted and everything just feels alive thanks to some of the best graphics and animation of this generation. Everything feels so elegantly put together, the cut scenes are brilliantly written and acted and everything just feels alive thanks to some of the best graphics and animation of this generation. Sure it has those big epic moments like the cargo plane set piece or the boat level but Naughty Dog has also given just as much attention to the more subtle moments such as following enemies without being seen or wondering through the desert (which is probably the most stunning part of the game). The game isn't perfect, it doesnt look stunning 100% of the time and I do feel that the ending sequence could have been a bit longer but I still rate this game a 10 because of how brilliantly executed it is. It tries so many different things and pulls them off either perfectly or near perfectly, whether its the incredible single player or its well improved multiplayer. If you are even remotely interested in this series then don't think twice about getting into it :)… Expand

    Best game on the ps3. There isn't even a contest when it comes to which series or game dominates the ps3 and Uncharted showcased there power with the most recent game. The story line of the game is the best of any game and Naughty dog had a lot of work to do being that Uncharted 2 was the undisputed game of the year. And they delivered, the beauty of the game is unbelievable and theBest game on the ps3.     Fantastic game. everything from the combat to the story is great. It's a very cinematic experience, and sometimes I even had to laugh the game was so freakin epic. The game has some linear parts, but you have enough freedom in combat to make it interesting. Some of the linear parts are also overshadowed by the fact that it's cinematics and looks awesome.     This game is nearly flawless. Split screen online is great. The main story is great. The graphics, voice acting and music are fantastic and the replay value is through the roof with the multiplayer. The only critics I have is that I wasn't as blown away as I was with Among Theives. Still phenomenal though.

    The best Game ever made it has so many things going for it such as; in-depth storyline that keeps u glued to the screen from start to finish, amazing combat (Gun and otherwise) its the complete package. Buy this game !

Yes, the story is actually focused on unlike most games and the characters are developed and extremely likable, but this game's not a one-trick pony. I can see how people might feel this way about a game like Heavy Rain, but Uncharted's story doesn't impede on it's gameplay at all. It's some of the bestAmazing game. It has the most responsive and tight cover system of any game I've ever played and the characters all feel the correct weight. When you make Drake jump from one cliff to another or vault over some cover there's a force that makes it feel as if you're actually controlling a 150 Lbs man. In a lot of other games it feels as if the character is floating or weightless, but Uncharted gets this down perfect. It doesn't seem like a deciding factor but it makes both combat and platforming a blast. Then there are the small details like the character's animations, the story, the witty dialogue, the top-notch graphics, addicting multiplayer. It all adds up to be one of the best games I've ever played. I completely agree with Greg Miller of IGN "This is the reason I play video games."… Expand

And my only complaint would be that the game could have a problem with explaining itself. Such as the fact that Elena knew Charley. It's a great story that will really get you involved with the characters. I felt for Elena, Drake, Sully and a couple others. Because they were all so well put together. I haven't even touched on the online. It's by far much better than the second's games online mode. You can customize your character and embark on a plethora of modes such as team deathmatch and free for all. You can add perks to your gun and collect treasures to get rewards. It all works perfectly, just as the game does. Uncharted 3 is my favorite game of 2011 and believe it or not, my favorite game of this current generation of gaming.… Expand

The story in Uncharted 3 is one of the best in a game and really leaves you wanting to pursue to the ending of the game.     Uncharted 3 is the final chapter for drake. The beginning of the game was slow and steady . But at last all the story came together at once , making the game full of mystery and excitement.
    Another wonderful masterpiece after Un2 , Best game ever !!!!!

    I would say play 1 and 2 before this but don't matter to much if not. At least play the 2nd uncharted.
    Thing is so many love to hate but in the end, uncharted is an experience not experienced anywhere else.
    Naughty dog are just masters and looking at the next title the last of us, expect more awesome interactive movie like experiences.

    This game is just amazing. Better than 1, and 2 in my personal opinion. There were many twists the new combo system was just a blast and, the story,Graphics,gameplay were flipping out of this world. This game is just so good I mean come on who doesn't like Nathan Drake

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ladies and gentlemen, behold: one of the best action adventure games of this generation. Refined gameplay, astonishing graphics, great storytelling and addicting multiplayer - that's what awaits you should you decide to buy this one. (and trust me, you should)
    Singleplayer: The best in the series, it's now more emphasised on the characters of Drake and Sully. Lots of breathtaking moments, especially the one on the plane. (this one is hard to forget) The moment when Sully "died" was so emotional I almost cried, and it was a huge relief to know that it was a hallucionation.
    Co-op: Both online and split-screen, it's nothing special, even thought it's got its own mini-storyline mixing up all the characters from the trilogy and actually making fun of them.
    Multiplayer: It's surprisingly addictive and well-balanced, I usually quickly get bored with all those rank-based multiplayer shooter, but this one surprisingly kept me hooked for a while, I even achieved rank 31. (It is quite rare for me lol)
    Overall, it's really one of the best games of 2011, this console generation and maybe of all time, and I feel sorry for the xbox-only owners who can't experience this masterpiece.    … Expand

    This game is great. No its amazing, it may not be perfect, but it is amazing. The characters feel real, thanks to the best voice acting i have ever heard in a game, and to great motion capture. The graphics are the best on a console, and on multiplayer you don't notice the downgrade. The gameplay feels better, like the guns have more kick to them then the last one, making them feel moreThis game is great. No its amazing, it may not be perfect, but it is amazing.     Uncharted 3 continues the great tale of Nathan Drake, Sully, Elena, cloe and introduces even new characters to the game.
    Well designed and great to play, it does not stand back from the great Uncharted 2

    Multiplayer is the highlight, and to this day one of the most played games I ever played

    Naughty Dog nailed it. Just amazing adventure. Game play, experience, graphic storyline is beyond expectations.
    I admired the unlocked videos from the developer. It made me realize how much effort spent to get this game out.
    I was happy learn how Drake Sully first met. The sequence of events and locations are stunning. 10/10. Great job Naughty Dog

    Great sequel to two awesome games. The graphics, the gameplay, the story are all awesome. It is with its predecessor the best adventure games i've played. The characters humor and story are also qualities. This game is better when played after the other two.

    Another thing I liked was the diversity of places you wind up. It's right up there with the second installment of the game, if not even better.

    The game's story is excellent. The graphics are insane. The sound is phenomonal, and the game is well polished. The mission structure is impressive, controls are awesome, combat and mechanics are satisfying, and the AI is excellent. Tons of content as well.

    Uncharted 3 has wonderful graphics, I also like the camera views of the game, makes it look just like a movie. The hand to hand combat is great too. The campaign has a great story and is very long too. The multiplayer is wonderful, you can customize your own person, there are many maps in it. This is truly one of the best games.

    The best Uncharted yet. Not only is the gameplay good, but the story is also good. The story shows Drake getting pushed to his limits and the gameplay is very fluid. I love how the multiplayer is still being supported with new DLC and events and how fun it is. If you have a PS3 and don't own this game than buy it now! And if you don' have a PS3 you shoud buy it just for this game.

    Naughty Dog does it again, which I suppose was to be expected after the last two. I really had no idea how much better looking uncharted could get and couldn't believe it when I first saw it. The colors really stand out in these games but never in an over saturated way, but in a way that the colors compliment each other in such a way that they just pop. The gameplay while pretty much the same as the second added a couple of features that gave it fresh feel (i.e. throwing grenades, fighting big guys). I was slightly bothered by the use of yellow to point out practically everything you could jump on, and like Golden Abyss I thought it detracted from the realism of it. Minor point though and the climbing and scavenging were as fun as always. The story was really strong as well and I liked how instead of the relationship with a girl being the inter-team conflict it was focused around the bond between Sully and Drake. The back story behind the two also made for an interesting plot point and getting some insight into your character of 4 games and his buddy was a nice piece of fan service. I find it interesting how fun these games are and yet they still hold a fairly serious tone. It is just an exciting adventure that fails to disappoint on delivering what it's predecessors have.… Expand

    Brilliant. I will just put it at that. Naughty Dog has made a master piece once again. Maybe not as good as among thieves, but is great none or less. Improved multiplayer. Even greater graphics. And an equal story. This game has it all.

(Metal Gear being 1st) Visually stunning, fantastic story, flawless gameplay, characters you love. Playing Uncharted 3 is playing a fine movie in real time. Uncharted being a PS exclusive renvders the already inferior 360 even that more archaic and unplayable. Big ups.

    Although not as good as Uncharted 2, which is no easy game to beat. This is just as worthy of a ten. It is cinematic excellence, the game play is smooth, and everyone who says it isn't, is probably just frustrated due to their lack of skill, and the script is funny and entertaining. I am severely impressed.

    I didn't think it was possible to improve on Uncharted 2... but Naughty Dog has managed to do that in almost every possible way! Definitely one of the if not the most cinematic and jaw dropping experiences i've ever had with a game!

    Really great game. I remember when I completed the game,The story wasn't as good as 2, but it was still great. The graphics sometimes were not as good, but in sometimes like the desert, the graphics were AMAZING. The gameplay was better than 2, I found the characters acting and voicing really good too. Amazing game!

A masterpiece, it is, and what was improved from its predecessor is the mechanics, gameplay, graphics, and multiplayer, but what most of its shine deserves to be from comes from the exciting moments of the campaign. This time, we find Nate, not fighting against some psychopathic Serbian warlord, nor trying to find some lost city in Asia, not trying to save the world from a deadly weapon, but fighting against a group of British thugs pulled straight from a Guy Ritchie film, in the jaw-punching moments of the prologue, and later against a mysterious secret order, lead by Katherine Marlowe, an old enemy, to find the lost city of Ubar, across deserts, towns, castles, ships, plane, and abandoned places in multiple places, such as England, France, and Egypt.

    The campaign also focuses on the bond Nate and his father-like mentor, Sully, created over twenty years ago, after an incident that brought them together. Their latest adventure could also be their most challenging, devastating, and deeply-felt journey they had together, and another focus on Nate and his on-off-again relationship with Elena, two years between Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3. We also find ourselves the same elements that made this game ULTIMATE: more crazy action sequences (For example: A bar fight, the fighting and destruction in a huge plane, fighting pirates in ships, and ambushing a convoy in the deserts), a more understandable story, more info on our characters' lives, more improved mechanics, and a more improved cast (particularly that Nolan North, as Nate, steals the show once again) that has some of the best performances I've seen in years of gaming.

    The multiplayer also improved, as well, putting in new more features: new clothes, new guns, new modes, new worlds, and adding a channel: Uncharted TV, in which you could watch Uncharted-related videos from Youtube. The multiplayer is a huge highlight, as the players spends months and years in that, beating down enemies or climb up platforms, and another improvement (adding in the exciting moments from the campaign, as well) make this multiplayer better than Uncharted 2's multiplayer.

    Uncharted 3 captures the soul of its predecessor and it gives us a more look, focus, and a bit of emotion of our characters' lives, and the affection from them, and it is one of the most impressive games I have ever played.

    The best Uncharted game yet in my opinion. The story is as gripping as ever, the action constantly spectacular and the dialogue funny and fresh. I much preferred the ending to this one than 2 (was not a fan of that boss fight) and the multiplayer and co-op modes were a really great addition. Perfect.

Among Thieves was the ultimate sequel and built wonderfully on all aspects of the first. Drake's Deception, the third entry in the series, is something else altogether. Drake's Fortune was great fun, a welcome departure from the end of the world/futuristic shooters predominating at the time. Among Thieves was the ultimate sequel and built wonderfully on all aspects of the first. Drake's Deception, the third entry in the series, is something else altogether. This game sets a new precedent for how inclusive and engaging video games can be. There will be some who won't feel so strongly but most anybody who loved the first two is going to LOVE this.… Expand

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable. You never feel like an outsider. If anything, you'll feel right at home, ensconced in the constant drama of this loveable cast of returning reprobates and reprehensible villains. [Dec 2011, p60]

    Only a few camera troubles stopped us from giving Drake's Deception the highest rating. Uncharted 3 is without doubt the best PS3 exclusive game of this year. [Dec 2011]
