Tekken Hybrid costs forty dollars, which is a reasonable price considering you're getting a full game, a full movie, and a demo for Tekken Tag Tournament 2. If you're a Tekken fan, this is probably worth checking out. If not, there's a small chance Tekken Prologue might convert you.

So what are you getting for your $70, then? To be honest, not a lot. The remake's cool and all but you'd be hard pressed to justify paying more than $20 for it alone - even if you're a hardcore Tekken fan.

Tekken Hybrid is a combo package of game, demo and film. The revamp of Tekken Tag Tournament HD looks good and feels relevant compared to modern fighters. Compared to more recent fighters, Tekken Tag Tournament doesn't hold up too well, but it still offers a good deal of fun with it's old-school team-brawling.

Tekken Hybrid consists of a HD-remake of Tekken Tag Tournament, a demo of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and the full lenght movie Tekken Blood Vengance. Though Tekken Tag Tournament still holds out pretty good against modern fighting games, Tekken Hybrid as a whole is more for the hardcore Tekken fans.

Tekken Hybrid offers all that a Tekken fan could desire: a 3D film, a revamped classic and a slice of the future of the series. Tekken: Blood Vengeance delivers great action scenes, but as a movie the story is not as interesting as it should. On the other hand, the HD version of Tekken Tag Tournament allow us to recover a great classic of the fighting genre, although it's clearly lacking an online mode. Finally, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue is just a demo of what's comming next year, but we're sure fans will want to put their hands on as soon as possible. In the end, a good package that could be much better.

A compilation that lacks dedication, with a passable animation film, a remastered game and a short demo. We recommend it only to fans that can't live without having all the Tekken products in their home.

TTT is only going to meet the needs of the hardcore fans who need something to keep them busy until TTT2 is released this Fall.

Tekken Hybrid has the nostalgia fans will adore, I'm sure. For that reason alone, I suppose I can recommend it to the die-hard followers.

That's what Tekken Hybrid contains, and whether you should get it depends entirely on how much you miss playing Tekken Tag Tournament. If you don't, there's little reason to pick this up, unless you really, really love everything related to the Tekken games and universe.

Those who absolutely must have a slice of Tekken action this year will no doubt find something to enjoy in Tekken Hybrid. The game is a rather thin package that won't appeal to anyone unaccustomed to the series, and indeed, this would be a terrible place for them to start.

Tekken Hybrid a package that contains a graphically-updated version of a game that was released 12 years ago, a game demo and a movie. Most gamers are going to find the $60 price tag hard to swallow, so only hardcore Tekken fans need apply.

More problematic is that neither game feels as accomplished as the genre's best. SFIV is deeper and more technical, and there's more fun to be had in MVC3's frantic tag action. But there are worse ways to spend £25, even if the whole thing would actually be more valuable without the movie – the poisonous, horse-leg doner of the bunch.

Namco tries to get a few extra dollars from you hard earned money with a cheap collection including an old game, a demo and a movie. This should've been a downloadable thing for PSN and there is nothing here that's worth a full retail price.

The original Tekken Tag Tournament is included and is the only part of this collection worth playing.

Tekken Hybrid is a shallow collection that doesn't give Tekken Tag Tournament the rerelease it deserves.

Even though the price tag of this package is on the low side, Tekken Tag Tournament HD has no online mode, TTT2 is just a demo and the movie Blood Vengeance is quite bad. Recommended only to hardcore fans of the series.
