    If player customization is one of the features that you liked about this series so far, you should avoid this game. There are only two fixed protagonists that the game allows you to play as, and you can't customize their outfits or anything else at all. Apart from that, this game mostly recycles content from the previous installment, even the graphics pretty much are the same.     I went into this game thoroughly open minded and wasn't disappointed with what I found..the thing is this game is a totally new approach to the series and incorporates more physical powers that reduce the need for using vehicles, they are still there to use should you feel the need but the fact you can run faster than a car and the full on flying power will mean vehicles are almostI went into this game thoroughly open minded and wasn't disappointed with what I found..the thing is this game is a totally new approach to the series and incorporates more physical powers that reduce the need for using vehicles, they are still there to use should you feel the need but the fact you can run faster than a car and the full on flying power will mean vehicles are almost pointless. This is also a move away from the GTA approach and we are now left with a game with more in common with Lego Heroes which isn't all that bad and the ropey cut scenes just pad out the game enough. Overall I find it a joy to blast through the Steelport version of Hell and hope this spin off is the first of many.… Expand

    Fun but extremely short for a open-world game. Like Saints Row 4 this feels more like DLC than a standalone game. It has really great ideas but feels rushed and unpolished. Its a shame for the many wasted ideas!

    Its fun to play finally Gat in the series of saint row too bad this game comparison with the others title is very shortly but has amazing and cool gameplay with cool gun and executions animation.
    Good game but...I think its the worst on comparison with the others game of this saga

    With more oven time this could have been that novelty birthday cake you always wanted but never got as a child. Instead it's just a muffin of disappointment. [March 2015, p76]

    It's good for fans of the series, but you can get better standalone DLC, or a more satisfying open world. [Issue#253, p.62]
