  1. Final Fight Double Impact is an excellent package combining two great arcade classics.

    Pleasingly meaty. [July 2010, p.118]
  3. Final Fight: Double Impact offers in a single pack two arcade classics, Final Fight and Magic Sword, originally launched in 1989 and 1990 respectively. The work carried out with the conversions of both titles cannot be compared with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, although they offer online mode and excellent graphical filters.
  4. For those with fond memories of whittling time and money away in the arcades, Final Fight Double Impact is well worth a look.

It's not a great value, and only nostalgia fans will keep coming back for more. [July 2010, p.96]
  6. You fight lots of pallet-swapped enemies over and over again, rinse and repeat. Fun to play with a friend and a huge nostalgia rush, but not much to hold your interest for long.

It's challenging but hardly deep. [June 2010, p.85]

Final Fight: Double Impact is fun for those with nostalgic feelings towards the arcade halls. Otherwise this game will feel boring and outdated.

A decent follow up to the genre from the ever experienced production house. Powerups and bonuses are nice but the plot needs more dimensions.

Obviously you can get perfect scores, without getting hit or dying but I can only think on how many coins you needed to get there. If you accept all of this, this is a interesting game play experience if not that good. Full Review »

Final Fight and Magic Sword were two of the best arcade video games ever, and this remastered version is no less equal to their quality. AmongFinal Fight and Magic Sword were two of the best arcade video games ever, and this remastered version is no less equal to their quality. Among all the new options, playing online is definitely the most interesting one, as it mixes the virtues of the classic games with the blessings of modern video games. Full Review »
