Mar 23, 2011This game in 1 word is Awsome, I'm a but fan of Resident evil, and I have to say this game is like RE on steroids. One of the few games I've actually completed 3 times.

Jan 31, 2011The only thing about this game that I wish could have been better now that I have beaten it, is the fact that most of the weapons are useless. Why offer so many weapons that serve no purpose. Plus you never get the chance to upgrade them all. The Contact Beam is nice, but it takes 10 seconds to charge it up. The Javelin Gun and the Ripper are by far the most useful.

Jan 25, 2011First, close the light, then blast your surround, get comfortable, dismembers some necro or get dismembered. DS2 is just outstanding DS1 in story, horror and game play. This game is totally awesome. Definitely needs it in your collection.

May 3, 2011Best horror game of the year and the current generation of gaming. A very satisfying story packed with terrifying monsters and scares. Gameplay is tip-top and solid. Online play is addictive, creative and lots of fun. Worth every penny.

Mar 25, 2011Simply OUTSTANDING. Visceral and EA took one of the best games of the last few years, fixed everything that was wrong with it, and called it done. One of the must-play games of 2011 to be sure.

Apr 23, 2011Loved everything about it from start to finish each time I played through it. The story was just as interesting as the first (especially if you read/listen to all the logs). If you buy it for the multiplayer, you bought it for the wrong reason.

May 1, 2011Somehow I ended up liking this more than the first one. Maybe it was less scary? For me, that was an improvement so I could just enjoy the awesome environements and have more fun killing nasty stuff.

Oct 16, 2011fantastic experience. at last back to real survivor horror games, with pure thrill and scare. some scenes won't be forgotten in years. even if the scenario is a bit disappointing, the overall package met my expectations, highly raised by the first Dead Space, which was a magnificent game too.

Mar 22, 2012Perhaps the lack of anything new limits the impact of this sequel. The storyline isn't riveting, far from it in fact, but for players who reached the end in the original; you'll want to see what else is going on in the Dead Space universe.
-
May 24, 2011The transition between CGI and gameplay delivers a great horror atmosphere. Isaac Clarke's got personality and we are only missing some bigger bossfights.

Mar 24, 2011With this sequel, Visceral Games has masterfully expanded on the first Dead Space. They've revved up the series with tougher guns, a bigger setting, and online multiplayer, but kept the spirit and, most importantly, the scares of the original in tact.
