    I was surprised at how simple and fun the fairy collection was, but the combat mechanics are a dull affair. Traipsing around in the walls isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and the game’s reliance on the field guide is a lazy design trick.

    It was a great game apart from the graphics on the Ps2. I had a lot of fun playing it in my childhood and even today it's still fun.

    In comparison to the 2008 movie, the game is a good surprise. The CGI world created is big enough to fit the story portrayed by the movie, and much more appealing, with lush vegetation and natural environments that immerse you right into the game. There's a very good amount of fun, extra missions to complete besides the main story missions, which is also very well sized. The characters are also fun to play with. Overall, The Spiderwick Chronicles is a surprisingly well balanced, and fun game for it's genre.… Full Review »
