This game is still fun to play. I would rather play this than watch "The Mandalorian"..

A fun shooting game, this is the game of my childhood, however there are quite clearly the dumbest of flaws present in this game.

The fighting mechanics are decent, and the graphics are decent for the time it was made back in 2002, but sloppy AI and the unfinished final chapter took a steaming dump on this almost masterpiece.

i used to play this game as a teenager after the kid at a babysitting job went to sleep. And I guess if you're stuck in someone else's house for a few hours, it's a great way to pass the time, because I remember really liking it. And I guess if you're stuck in someone else's house for a few hours, it's a great way to pass the time, because I remember really liking it. But upon replaying the game in my own home as an adult, all I can say is that I have plenty of other games to choose from, and it was hard to keep playing this one when I have an entire shelf of better options behind me. It's better than the majority of tie-in games from the same era, but that's a low bar, and frankly, most other Star Wars games made around the same time are better than this one. The gameplay is mediocre and repetitive, and with the exception of the use of vertical space in the level design the only interesting gameplay element, the bounty tracking system, is just utter garbage. I love the idea of flipping on the scanner and tracking your enemies movements, picking out some juicy bounties, and launching your attack based on the info you just dug up, but it just does not deliver on that promise. You are completely helpless while scanning and there is no stealth to speak of, so searching for bounties is the worst way to play, and really only exists for unlocking extras. The story is decent, it is a star war and everything. Really the cutscenes are the only saving grace and the only reason I've rated the game as high as I have. Jango being an especially stoic cardboard cutout isn't as much of a problem as it would have been in a movie or TV show, and Roz is probably the best thing to come from the entire game. Overall, only a diehard Star Wars fan who is interested in bounty hunter characters in particular, should even bother with this game when given the other options on early PS2 games. And even then I'd say it might be better to just watch the cutscenes on YouTube... Which I guess wasn't really an option at the time, so perhaps the best time to play this game is if you happen to be a captive audience. Expand

Could have been great, but relies too heavily on the "Jango Fett is cool" idea, and doesn't have the depth of gameplay needed to hold most people's interest.

Despite all the things Jango can do, control is streamlined and intuitive... A rock-solid action title that should keep Fett fans very happy.

With an archaic graphics engine, dreadfully awful camera tracking, extensive load times, and some of the most atrocious mission challenges known to man, it becomes quite clear where this game went wrong. [Jan 2003, p.89]
