You may have a harder time with all the backtracking, the imprecise jumping and exploration, and the overall large-scale scope of the game. In any case...a solid performer.
-
As far as style of gameplay, think "ICO," but without the atmospherics. It's similarly puzzle-intensive, and takes the cooperative aspects of ICO's design to an entirely new level.
-
Whilst the graphics arent exactly the most impressive seen on the PlayStation 2; the gameplay makes up for the lack in looks.
-
Easily the cleverest game to emerge in some time and making your way through it's intricate innards is one of the most rewarding experiences the PS2 can currently offer. A slice of gaming heaven.
-
The highly detailed graphics convincingly portray both might and oppression with a realism that is awesome, encompassing huge caverns, fathomless pits and sudden dead ends.
-
Project Eden's superior blend of squad-based gameplay, ingenious puzzles, clever level design, and multiplayer modes creates an action-adventure game that challenges your brain more than your trigger finger.
-
Looks like a shooter, but at its heart its a mind-busting puzzle game that transcends its own graphical limitations and delivers an intelligent gamers paradise.
-
The game has an undeniably amazing world to take part in, and I never once stopped marveling at it from start to finish.
-
Its somewhat remarkable then that Project Eden not only offers an update to the genre, but also takes it to the next level with tons of challenging environmental puzzles, amazing graphics, and not one, but four lead characters.
