TierreS.Oct 4, 2006Eh....not so great for casual users, but only great for die-hards. Otherwise, you might as well rent 2k7 or go to a best buy and observe.

JrodJan 7, 2007The mag/internet reviews say it all. Great sim game, but the actual gameplay itself is extremely frusterating. User and AI seem to be playing two seperate games; computer play is virtually flawless while the user will deal with missed layups, numerous turnovers, suffocating man d, and double teams on every post up.

MarkT.Oct 4, 2006Aside from the overrated rookie scale, its franchise mode is aaight. You gotta love it!

Jul 16, 2011I really find the gameplay hard but die-hard basketball fans would love this game.

NBA Live 07 is a lot like its cover athlete, Tracy McGrady: It's capable of some stunning moves, worthy of the highlight reels, but is a little too offensive-minded and selfish. It's got a lot of skill, but doesn't do enough to get to the playoffs.
-
While NBA Live 07 is a generally decent sports game with near-average replayability, it doesn’t “capture” anything. You’ll be amused but not engrossed. It’s an update to last year’s game, not a sequel.
-
The bottom line is that NBA Live 07 is a pretty darned good hoops sim - once you adjust the wonky default sliders. Without it, the shooting doesn't give an inch, no matter how well you time your release.
