Blarg. This is something to rent, or better yet avoid entirely.

EA has done it again, a newer version of a game is released and nothing has been improved, they tried but no. In fact everything has gone downhill NBA Live 2004 was a lot better than 07, heck basketball games from 10 years ago were better. With all this glitching and bugs going on, I could have coded a better working game.

Absolutely terrible. Choppy and buggy. NBA 2K7 owns it in pretty much every way.

Choppy gameplay and look, NBA live 07 is absolutely current gen in all aspects compared to the amazing NBA 2K7.

The only good thing about this game is that they have improved the X-Factor. The worse thing is that there is no hop step. That is the worse.

NBA Live 07 is a lot like its cover athlete, Tracy McGrady: It's capable of some stunning moves, worthy of the highlight reels, but is a little too offensive-minded and selfish. It's got a lot of skill, but doesn't do enough to get to the playoffs.
  2. While NBA Live 07 is a generally decent sports game with near-average replayability, it doesn’t “capture” anything. You’ll be amused but not engrossed. It’s an update to last year’s game, not a sequel.
  3. The bottom line is that NBA Live 07 is a pretty darned good hoops sim - once you adjust the wonky default sliders. Without it, the shooting doesn't give an inch, no matter how well you time your release.
