The game's short length, infinite continues, and co-op mode make it an excellent rental for older folks, while kids will be happy to replay the levels to death and track down every last secret. [May 2005, p.125]
-
PSM MagazineYes, it looks childish, is a bit too easily beaten, and is based on the lackluster Star Wars prequels (all three of them) - but it's also a fun game with charm to spare. [May 2005, p.74]
-
netjakBasically the same as the Star Wars Lego kits. You'll complete it in under a day, and then put it up on the shelf, never to be played with again.
-
The sheer simplicity of the game is likely to affect the duration of the game, but while it lasts LEGO Star Wars is enjoyable and has an understanding of the Star Wars brand above many others.
-
Edge MagazineKids are often underestimated, but that doesn’t mean their games should be. Lego Star Wars has an appeal that goes beyond age, even if it’s one that rarely goes beyond 20 minutes at a time. [May 2005, p.84]
-
While it won't keep you occupied for more than the length of a rental, Lego Star Wars is a surprisingly satisfying addition to my video game library.
-
TotalGames.netIf you mature, and don't get Star Wars at all it is possible that you may consider that this is more an quality Lego Star Wars product than it is a gripping Lego Star Wars game. This is one for the younglings. Move along.
-
Play MagazineThis game is also one of the easiest the galaxy has ever seen. [May 2005, p.52]

May 10, 2023I'm glad, that there are Lego games for many franchises. Even if the Batman game is slightly better, this one still rocks. Overall rating: 8.5.
