In this installment, you must keep your profile low or risk being in the next day's newspapers. However, you also have the option to payoff witnesses to keep your notoriety down. Another cool new addition is the ability to upgrade your weapons. Overall, the game is an absorbing action title. If you like the series, than you'll love this one. To me the worst thing about Blood Money is the plot. When compared with the original Codename 47 game, Blood Money is a mess. Told in some weird past-tense memory type format (similar to contracts) and some weird twists that I think fall flat. I do wish the plot was different, otherwise, this is an incredible game.

The only bad level in the game in my opinion is the training level at the start. Some weird racist level with weird level design and gameplay mechanics. It took me half an hour to figure out that you use a dedicated coin-throwing button to progress through the training, and it's neither mentioned in-game or in the controller configuration screen. But alas, it's one half-level and doesn't really matter.

This is definitely the best game in the Hitman franchise.
I just don't like the new ones at all, I mean they brought back the big open levels and possibilities, but it seems so obviously scripted.
Silent Assassin also has nothing on this.
Hitman Blood Money has absolute Legend status like Saints Row 2 and GTA SA.

One of my childhood classics. It was the first Hitman I played (although it was 3 max lol) and it's my favorite in the saga. I replayed it relatively recently and it's still a lot of fun, I have good memories from those missions.

Hitman: Blood Money will always be a true classic in my book. It is not quite the same level of sandbox as the newer games, but still allows for many different approaches. There is also plenty of replay value as you try to collect all the guns and test out various different scenarios to take out your targets, as well as chasing the best possible rank of Silent Assassin. This game helped bring the franchise a little more into the limelight and worked out some of the bugs and frustrations of the older games, making it more approachable while keeping true to the feel of a Hitman game. I consider Hitman a must play for fans of stealth games (and hey, if you mess up you can always have fun going in guns blazing). Expand

This game is the dopest of all time from 2006, personally my favorite game ever, i would say Hitman 2 got on the level of Hitman Blood money although ofc hitman 2 is more detailed cause it was released in November 13, 2018, i would rate both games at @ 10/10.

Ok, I came here before and gave a score of 10 for this game. I admit, this game is much more than just walk and shoot, requiring the player to use his reasoning. But when I went to play again this game on PC, I saw so many bugs that I could not play until the end. That let me a little sad because I really enjoyed this game in the PS2 era.

Definatley my best title for the PS2. It still somehow brings me back despite my XBOX360. Before that... well, it was all I played. The gameplay is dark, bloody, and humerous, the missions are awsome, and the overall presentation is great. But, don't go into this thinking you can survive FPS style. If you do, you're going to be sorley dissapointed.

The game hitman blood money is an interresting experience with its flaws, but the gameplay makes up for it. once you figure it out, you can go through the white house mission without using anything more than the fibrewire. one thing bothers me though: a level 2 silencer for 200 grand?

When I first played it, the gameplay was good but the graphics are disturbing! if you ignore the graphics for a second you can see that this game brings a big package of fun. From sliding down pipes and tugging a fiber wire around some poor souls throat there are many ways you can be the perfect silent assassin.

I absolutely loved this game, especially the soundtrack. By combining the orchestral glory of the second game and Jesper Kyd's dark and insidious industrial/ambient tunes featured in the third, it came together quite impressively. Mr. 47 is also a brilliant anti-hero, saving the world in his own deadly perfect manner, and doing so with such calm and calculating Zen efficiency that even a Buddhist monk couldn't help but be impressed. I found that obtaining all available weapons whilst maintaining the coveted "Silent Assassin" rating is what continues to draw me back to this game. The only weapon I've yet to obtain with said rating is the Kazo TRG sniper rifle, and I intend to keep coming back until I've found a way. There's always a way. Expand

We don't have to worry about the Hitman franchise feeling like a sports-game series with incremental updates, as Hitman: Blood Money adds three features that make it feel like a real sequel: money, notoriety, and publicity. [June 2006, p.90]
