    El juego perfecto. Ha envejecido un poco mal pero sigue siendo un juego inmenso y lleno de posibilidades. Hay algo mejor que perderse por San Andreas? Yo creo que no.

    One of the best PS2-Games ever. First GTA-Title I played and I love nearly every aspect of the game. In the PS2-Version is also a more or less hidden local Multiplayer-Mode.

    For me, this was the best GTA game. At the time, the graphics were top notch, and there were many additions like bicycles and stabbing that added to the game. In terms of gameplay, it was the same as the other GTAs but they had territories to claim. I have no idea why they removed the territories from later GTAs, it was an awesome addition to an otherwise monotonous game.

    I remember this game being quite enjoyable to play as a kid and I once thought that this is was my favourite Grand Theft Auto game. Unfortunately, after replaying this game, I cannot help but feel quite disappointed in much of the game. I feel like the problems from this game stems from the fact that a majority of the missions are quite long and tedious.     I mean, it's a great game, but the story is a bit... meh. Nothing special. And the action is a bit repetitive in some points. The best is the map, 3 cities and a lot of country in between to get lost looking for easter eggs and details. So yeah, play it even if it's not te best GTA out there.

    Considero essa a versão definitiva de verdade. Não só por causa da nostalgia que ela me trás, mas principalmente, por ser até hoje a versão com todo o conteúdo presente, e com menos problemas.
    Sempre joguei na casa de amigos, e por isso nunca completei o jogo no PS2. mesmo assim, as várias horas que eu passei jogando, foram suficientes para eu considerar ela como a melhor.

    Brilliant game. Will always have time to play this. I still enjoy this game to this day. I don't need to write a full review because I'm sure everyone has played this by now. The story line is amazing and all the characters are unique and memorable. The graphics on the PS2 are still great although the Xbox original one is definitely better. Some people how ever may prefer the PS2 looking one.

    I believe you cannot dislike San Andreas. This is an icon already. The well-known characters that feel real, very interesting plot, entertaining gameplay - it all contributes to an amazing game that you can play multiple times while still enjoying it.
    As it is a holly grail of the gaming community, it's hard to talk about the disadvantages - yes, it is violent, vulgar and cliche. But at    I believe you cannot dislike San Andreas. This is an icon already. The well-known characters that feel real, very interesting plot, entertaining gameplay - it all contributes to an amazing game that you can play multiple times while still enjoying it.
    As it is a holly grail of the gaming community, it's hard to talk about the disadvantages - yes, it is violent, vulgar and cliche. But at the same time, it is all staged so well, that you look at all of that through your fingers. It is approaching serious matters in a very non-serious way, being often auto-ironic and ridiculous.
    And the soundtrack that immediately transfers you to Los Santos. What more can I say - with all of its bugs and absurdities, GTA SA is a masterpiece.    … Expand

    In terms of what they did right, this game seems pretty clearly the best one from this era of GTA.
    The story is pretty well-done. Characters are all memorable. Voice acting fits really well and has some unforgettable actors involved, like Samuel Jackson, David Cross, and Ice-T. The dialogue brings up a lot of social commentary, which I feel like is an underappreciated aspect of these games, and this game does it exceptionally well, referencing the LA riots from 1992, among plenty of topics here and there.
    Plus, this game can be funny. "All you men think about is ****ing! **** this! **** that!" "I'm sorry, baby!"
    The map is relatively huge and well-made. Everything flows really well, with loading times only being for building interiors / missions. You can swim, use a jetpack, and all the other normal GTA stuff like use tanks, planes, military helicopters, parachute from anywhere, take the train... You can date multiple girlfriends, who provide perks, vehicles, and outfits as you progress. Worth it for the two girls who let you keep your stuff when you die or get arrested.
    The added mechanics and different stats do make this a pretty immersive game. Gang territories are actually pretty fun, despite being somewhat repetitive.

    However, we must admit there are a few problems with this thing that can be pretty hard to overlook.
    First, it is incredibly frustrating to lose certain weapons after doing missions. It's weird, some missions will end with you have 50 rockets, and then after other missions, you'll lose like all your ammo for a couple weapons.
    Second, flying is such a pain in the ass to get used to sometimes. I feel like it adds some weight of realism, but the reason these GTA games are so fun is because they get ridiculous, and it comes across as more clunky.
    Third, buying clothes takes SO LONG. It takes like a full minute just to try on and buy 4 articles of clothing. I watched unrelated videos online to fill the time so I can buy everything, which is also kind of an issue: There isn't a big thing to buy. I can buy everything out well before the game is over.
    Fourth, I was not warned that I would lose the option of gang territories after about 30% of the story was done. This made me keep waiting for when they'd bring it back and it made me start to get a little impatient with the story, which did get a little bit tangential after that.

    That all said, it's still a really fun and addictive experience. The game's got a lot of personality, it does a lot of things right, despite its flaws, and I would consider it a top-tier PS2 game.    … Expand

    the game has an amazing story, great soundtrack packed with many classic songs, the map is really big and the game is pretty small in size and its accessible for low end pcs. it has some bugs and issues but there are mods that fix most of them

    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I consider this game to be the greatest PS2 game, the greatest GTA game, and my all-around favorite. The gaming experience was just unmatched and although other PS2 and future GTA games have better graphics, the immersion and enjoyment this game gave me puts this on top. There's just something about GTA San Andreas that keeps me coming back and be CJ all overGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I consider this game to be the greatest PS2 game, the greatest GTA game, and my all-around favorite. The gaming experience was just unmatched and although other PS2 and future GTA games have better graphics, the immersion and enjoyment this game gave me puts this on top. There's just something about GTA San Andreas that keeps me coming back and be CJ all over again, whether I'm going on rampages on fighting the gurus in the gyms, or having a battle in the air with the Hydra, mauling criminals as a vigilante in the Rhino, this game has kept up its developers' philosophy of being engrossed in a world that seems to have no limits in the availability of actions that you can do. Carl "CJ" Johnson is a great protagonist (although Niko is almost tied with him as my favorite) and his story is one that I will never get tired of. From being a nobody to ushering his gang Grove Street Families to dominance twice, his adventures all over Los Santos, San Fierro, the countryside and Las Venturas, to being the most powerful man in San Andreas by the endgame, as well as being the first protagonist who can swim, CJ brings a lot to the table and is very essential to this game's enjoyment. Other characters are also great, be it as good guys, bad guys, bad guys doing good like Woozie, or supposedly good guys doing bad like Bog Smoke and Ryder, or maybe they're just hood guys. Frank Tenpenny is a great villain and Samuel L. Jackson played him to perfection along with the other voice actors in this game. Cesar Vialpando is my 2nd favorite as he is really a very dependable friend in this game..
    Currently playing on Android so I can play on the go, I consider the PC version better because of the modifications but I'll never forget the OG. The original game that defined my teen years.

    Pros:
    - Different missions that are really cool and fun
    - Story
    - A lot of good content (side missions, etc)
    - A great open world filled with life/realism

    Cons:
    - Boring missions (driving from point A to B, etc)
    - It can be challenging sometimes

    After a platinum and 102 hours played, i recommend it to everyone.

Holy hell the first impressions were so great and not just the first ones my overall impression of this game is great. This is maybe my most favorite game of all my fav games :)
    I remember the graphics were pretty good on both PS2 and a PC, the only disadvantage of the PC version is 2 players mode, had a lot of fun with that on PS2. Altho i can play the PC version today unlike the PS2 one today on PS5 :/
    The only thing i remember that was not really revlutionary for the day was the draw/render distance, but its never been rly good in R* games engines, lets be honest.
    I still enjoy this game today on a PC or mobile version, the story is so good, the overall environment is just so immersive, the surrounding, the music, the population, the transport AI, pedestrians AI, etc. it is simply a masterpiece and one of the best games ever made, always like to come back and relax.    … Expand

    A major improvement from G.T.A.III and Vice City.Missions like Wrong side of the tracks is annoying but you beat it.The story is good you understand why Carl is force to work for different people.It is fun to fly in San Andreas

    This is one of my favourite games of all time, it really capture los angeles and the california area i reckon, the gameplay was awesome and the story surpasses any other game made during its time, 10/10 yes, grove street for life.

    I don't know anyone who hasn't played GTA San Andreas and not enjoyed it.. unless there some ignorant boring no fun boomer or something lol ANYWAYS.. this game holds a lot of #1 titles when it comes to PS2 games and for good reason, its by far the best game on the PS2 that has ever existed.

    Ninguém queria saber de história cara, geral queria era pegar um carro, atropelar geral, pegar 5 estrelas, fugir o quanto conseguir da policia, pegar a bazuca e explodir tudo e todos, dar umas voltas com o hydra, tentar passar por debaixo de uma ponte e.... BOOOOM!! BOOOM! BOM! BOOOM!! BOM! BOM! BOM! BOOOOM!!!, kkkkkkkkkk, (nunca naves e helicópteros explodiam 300 vezes kkkk, mas eu adorava)

    What can be said about San Andreas that has not already been said? it is one of the best games in history, with an impressive world and mechanics for those years, today it has aged, but even with the passing of the years it continues being fun and cool in his own unique way

    The GTA universe is expanded with a much larger play environment, a really well written and celebrity voiced set of characters, an involving storyline, brilliant soundtrack, more varied set of missions and a character that is constantly evolving in the RPG style.     San Andreas's chief advantage over "Vice City" is size. And for many players, that's good enough. But another group of fans will come to quietly understand that, at least for the time being, "Vice City" remains the high point of the GTA series.
