  1. Whilst the game can offer a certain joy of ownership for a fraction of the cost, those who are not passionately interested in motoring in general won’t want to put the required effort in.

But lost among the vast raft of offerings is a game that has grown, but barely improved, certainly not at the rate gamers really deserve. In so many cases it will be irrelevant, with those that have waited for its arrival so eagerly lapping it up, and being washed away with all its new twinkling extras.

Gran Turismo 4 is fundamentally unconcerned with furthering the art of the videogame. This titanic franchise, this critical, load-bearing pillar of PlayStation, is barely even a videogame at all. It’s a hobbyist software suite, a racetrack tutorial, an encyclopaedia you can get in and drive off. [March 2005, p.78]
  4. Computer Games Magazine

A driving game with no damage model and no good reason to stay on the track. [July 2005, p.85]
  5. Yes, there are tweaks, better graphics and further development on the cars’ physics, but nothing groundbreaking. For the most part it seems that the past four years have been spent improving the playback of your car whizzing around the track once you’ve finished the race.

Im about to be shot, so ill make this quick.

    This is an amazing game.
All of the cars were beautifully modeled, compared to the first two games, where all of them were just a bunch of pixels.

The tracks are increased, giving more uniqueness in the game.
You can race on Sarthe, Nurburgring, Suzuka, and ov every track around the world.

Driving licenses return, and its more challenging then the previous one. Its more harder.
Youre gonna have a hard time beating them if youcare not careful.

The graphics are a great improvement.
    Nuff said.

    I hear someone coming.
    Sorry guys.
If you don't hear me within a few minutes, them I might be dead.
I think i can hear footsteps.

I'll come back to finish this review.
