Much as was the case with World of Tanks, World of Warships does a lot of things really well. Its gameplay is easy to get into but allows for a fair amount of depth in how you approach each battle

World of Warships is fun, engaging and simple (at the beginning). The various classes offer different type of gameplay and sinking other ships feels really good. But if your team is bad there is nothing you can do.

A unique and satisfying bit of seafaring, with enough depth to rival the Atlantic. [Dec 2015, p.83]

Ultimately, the excitement that comes from commanding powerful ships during explosive battles on the high seas overshadows these faults. The thrills that await, along with the promise of unlocking advanced ships down the road, make World of Warships an enticing expedition into the sometimes turbulent waters of free-to-play games.

A good and tactical free to play game, that intelligently mixes its mechanics in slow paced but tense and fun matches on the sea. It's probably the best of the World of War series from a gameplay standpoint, and the variety of ships changes the approach of the player in impressive ways. Might be a bit low on content compared to Tanks, but it won't be long till more stuff gets added.

This new installment from Wargaming is a breath of fresh air. The gameplay may seem slow for newcomers, but in the end you will likely sink hours into this game without even realising it.

World of Warships starts out well. The game is fast, it looks good, and it’s fun. Progress soon comes to a crawl, however, and the repetitive grinding, off-set only by a convoluted Free-to-Play system, dampens the experience in ways that the superb graphics and quick multiplayer matchmaking do little to offset.

Perhaps one of the few games that fascinated me for a long time. Earned skills play a major role in achievements of the world of warships.

Just look at this graphic! The game is great, it does not slow down, it does not throw you to the desktop. I recommend.

Good looking game, fun game to play. But after the match the pay to win and greed features with Wargaming games become really apparent. OneGood looking game, fun game to play. But after the match the pay to win and greed features with Wargaming games become really apparent. One example of a recent experience i had was simply trying to change my Username. After 7 years having the same account spending 200+ dollars on Tanks alone i recently came back to Wargaming to play WOWS. I asked if i could have my Username changed because it was made 7 years ago and is "unattractive" and was denied. They told me i had to spend $20 to change my name... Mid to late game it becomes very "grindy" if you don't have Premium or Premium ships and spend real money to convert XP. Some games you might not even get anywhere in progression, this goes for all three WOT, WOWS WOWP. Sad really.
The whole business model for Wargaming games is to get you hooked for the first 2 to 5 hours of gameplay which you can progress quite quickly if your a decent player but anything beyond that (Tier V to X) you could be spending that same amount on 1 tier. You are also "forced" to purchase to progress, if you want tier a V battleship you must use tier IV battleship, purchase all upgrades for it then the tier V battleship, unlike War Thunder where if you want to skip tier IV tank all you have to do is research it and move on and continue using your tier III if desired. No unnecessary purchases to set you back some.
    Ultimately it's a 2/10,
    1 point for graphics,
    1 point for battles.

Every time I jump onto the game now if I do, I just get the feeling this game is dying quickly and the only way to fix it. is to allow someone else to do it and listen to the player base. The game before 2020 was good and then they made the CV Rework which broke the game for CV to be so OP that if you had anyone that could barely play them now could do a massive amount of damage without learning how to play them. I played this game from the beginning and just seen it go from good to great to good to now just right boring, not fun to play, and ships that are overpowered towards other ships. It is just so wrong to see. Ships that were designed for AA defense cannot do anything against them. Ships that were designed to destroy Submarine cannot get close to them to destroy them either.
Lastly, the microtransaction or what I say macrotransaction are just so high that normal people cannot afford it, and when they do afford it. it is too late for them to get what they want and just so f this poop, I am out.
The great part of the game and has been since the start is the Art in the game. Everything else is so boring now and no new content except new ships in every update for people to buy that are just copy-paste ships from every other ship in the game.

    a little of background story...
i played this game since it was in closed alpha, back therm the game was promising, the ships looked balanced overall, each branch had it's strong point and it's weak points, but they **** it up has usual from wargaming...
1: they started by ****ing up the Japanese destroyer lines in 2 branches none of witch performed well after that
2: the introduction of captain skills and consumables that basically where a deterrent to who ever decided to p+lay or was playing ANY nation destroyers
3: events where you had to play 24h/day games just to manage to grind for free ( THE PAY TO RICO EVENT) has a example
    4: they don't give a **** to they're community contributors
5: the ranked battles where you have to have tier 10 in order to procede to higher ranks
6: pve battles, are a joke, no balance at all
7: the match making system is a piece of unbalanced ****
8: the grind up to level 5 it's easy but after that you end up in matches where the opposing team has at least 1 radar detection ship or sonar in it
9: premium destroyer ships are weak, they need be buffed but wargaming is a **** and doesn't listen to it's player base
    10: costumer support doesn't existe
11: no tutorial explain how a player should counter or avoid a radar ship

this pretty much sums up this game...
another piece of **** courtesy of wargaming
