    When I first started this new xpac I was impressed well at least with the leveling quests, then the more I dug into the game the more I got mad and frustrated. They took so much from people with certain professions like no more smelting for mining no more sockets for blacksmiths, giving everyone the ability to mine in a garrison is crazy? Why even have mining and herbing if everyone can do it in there garrisons, the list goes on and on its crazy how much they take out of this game hell every time I take a break from this game I come back to so much confusion and anger at what was gone. Yes I know they do some stuff right but here lately they seem to do more wrong. Hell one of my favorite parts of the game was taking high lvl characters and trying to solo old raid bosses when I wasn't raiding just to see who I could solo and try different things to down a boss thought impossible with one player, not in Warlords of Draenor hell want to kill raid bosses in 25 man heroic ICC ...... One shot, hell I can solo mists of pandaria stuff. This game is just the bane of my existence. I'm such a fanboy of the game and defend it in so many ways but here lately that has ceased to happen. And one more thing I HATE DAILY's but you dont really miss something till its gone. I don't mind doing some of them I just don't like doing 20-30 a day welp thats gone. Now they have turned us .... your toon into the daily quest giver. Hell they knew we hated dailys so much they just made us the quest giver, but instead with your followers this is retarded. I could go on and on all day but i'm going to stop here............ I just wanted my wow fix but I guess i'm going to be wowsick!!! I'm going to get my collectors edition moneys worth but I know I can't play this for the next year continuously.… Expand

    Now that they have sorted out the server issues the game is great. But I would like to point out to those not happy with the results due to the server problems, in an online game the main point of it is to be online!!! so if this isnt working causes huge lag and character freezes making the game unplayable then why would it it be given a higher score, its because of these sort of reviewsNow that they have sorted out the server issues the game is great.     Blizzard you didn't have 1 chance, this was you 2nd!! And you failed yet again! This expansion certainly ain't worse than Pandaria, but for sure ain't better than Cata and well Cata was just..terrible..If this is the best you can do then I am really disgusted.

    Blizzard did manage to do it with this new expansion brining back the magic of old wow back into the game.

    As far as i played it i did really enjoyed so far.

    You would think that after 10 years of making world of Warcraft + expansions that Blizzard would get a launch right. The answer is no. When finally do get through the wall of lag, glitches and quest that bottleneck you are meet with something that feels like a step backwards. More expensive. Less content. this is it, im out.

    While other MMOs are improving each year, WoW is worse every year. While the setting is fine and all, the graphics are just horrible. Questing is linear. No improvements at all. They've cut so many useful elements out of the game, just so they can add a little piece here    Haters are right, this is undoubtedly an garbage expansion.     So here we are with wow, its lagging 100x more, and it's having at least 1000x more bugs and glitches, even though this expansion is bringing nearly zero new content!!! It's not a launch it's just a damn expansion, terrible server managment.     To put aside the technical failure (which you shouldn't blink an eye to it anyway, it's a disgrace), the game is nothing spectacular or inovative in any way you look at it.

    Graphics -> Still looks like crap compared to all other mmos.

    Gameplay -> Nothing new here, except it's much more limited and forced than any other previous settings

    PvP -> Take at look at ESO blizzard, that is a proper PvP not your garbage, heck even GW2 has epic PvP.

    Questing and Leveling -> Shorter than ever! Now with the bonus objectives the exploration which was crap is now even worse! No optional quests, just cheap objectives yay! Whenever there is voice acting its a disgrace as we are all used to now, no lip sync no fully voiced quests..GG

    Endgame -> Lets cut it even more, only 2 raids! And by the time we release those raids 95% of population will be 100 already with nothing to do anymore, because we added sooo much content right?

    Garrison -> After pokemon battles, here comes a shameful version of travian. Yeah you heard it right, another **** minigame that is not worth a penny. Yet it's all made around it.. GG Blizzard    … Expand

    Tried the game at launch, spent 45minutes on a quest that wasnt designed for a MMO, tried it again the next morning with no luck. The game design is not fit for a massive mmo at all. Bottleneck after bottleneck and massive stability issues.

    For a premium price it delivered anything but premium gameplay.

    Support other MMOs instead, this garbage doesn't deserve a penny.

    Tons of glitches from the launch. Provides absolutely no new content. Another expansion about orcs! They actually take away features instead of adding new stuff (aka flying to save time and money, since they do not have to put roofs etc on buildings). It is really depressing!!!!!

    I changed my initial 2/10 to a perfect 10. Now that the glitches are away, this game is simply the BEST WOW since Vanilla.
    Quests are crazy dynamic, Challenge is back. The art is stunning, the music is awesome and quite frankly I don't know any other game that took me by surprise as this one,... except perhaps Vanilla WOW...

    Good God what changes Blizzard has made.

    Yet another disappointment. There is barely any new content.. To make things worse 90% of players will be getting to lvl 100 in 1 day, yes you heard right! There is exactly content for 1 day!

    Who are you kidding Blizzard, 55€ for 1 day content seriously? Other MMOs already have more content from launch than you have from 10 years of development. GG Blizzard keep it on!

    What a failure of a launch, I can't remember MMO in this decade with such fail. This must be the worst company ever, what a bunch of amateurs.

    You would expect the game to be at least quality with the price tag 55€, but it's pure garbage as others have already confirmed..Truly shameful..

    When there is so many negative reviews about a game, you know that something is not right. And if you were thinking the same thing, you are probably right, Warlords of Draenor is a disgrace to all gamers in general, as well as a disgrace to many WoW veterans like myself. Have a good day.

    So here I am - and it's a very good expansion. Garrisons are an inspired choice and the whole thing feels fleshed out and fresh as a daisy. Is it enough to save the MMO genre? Well... no.     This game is 10 years old, there is no excuse for server stability, not when we are greeted by one of the worst community managers in history. But that's what we are used too anyway..

    And it's not about a game that is an improvement over Mists of Pandaria, but the fact that it's giving much less content than MOP.

    Much less content than other MMOs for a way higher price. Yeah that's right.

    recently I wrote a review for archeage in which I said a game you cannot play is a bad game, and gave it a zero. WoD is slightly different: I actually did manage to "play", but the lag is awful, the bugs are all over the place. Why did this game launch when it's clearly not ready...
    You gotta expect more from a company that has over 10 years experience now with an mmorpg...

    Warlords of Draenor is an expansion that is stripping more content than it's giving. I have no idea how can people actually support this. There is so many better companies and way better mmos out there, go seek them.

    The best expansion yet,, the zones and NPC's are well done. I have played every expansion since the game came out in 2004. This one is worth buying, most of the negative reviews are people with hurt feelings that couldn't log on right awhile when the game released.

    You can be a WoW fanboi like me for years, but you must be really dumb if you approve this lack of content.
    WoD looks exactly the same as MoP, nothing impressive. New character models are ugly and outdated.
    Content has been cut to pieces and recycled, I just unsubed and will rather play other mmos..

As far as I can say after ~3 hours of gameplay, the environment team has done a great job of the new Draenor setting. The pacing of the story seems decent at the moment.

    On the downside, Blizzard has made yet another fiasco of its launch day. The servers are unstable, and the general latency at best of times is somewhere above 300 ms. Another issue would be actually getting to log into the game, as queue times on most of the servers vary between 20 minutes to 4+ hours depending on your luck. As I said earlier the garrison feature seems to be the most game-changing feature but fails to deliver, since the instancing server kicks anybody who dares enter the garrison zone. While it is promising judging by the preview, many players cannot experience the true experience behind WoD simply because the technical side suffers greatly. At the same time some poor decisions that make players have to "stand in line" to open a certain cage/loot a certain object/ etc tend to prolong the time needed for completing a simple quest to nearly 10 minutes of random clicking.

    Story-wise the game does indeed own up, but ,again, certain bugs bring the general rating down. While some players may be luckier than others with these problems, most of us are left to the long wait queues, the frequent disconnects from the server, and the glitchy phasing of quest NPCs. Moreover the previous decision they made in regards to servers (to connect and merge some servers) has since become a hindrance since there is no room for everybody to play the game.

    In the end, the game falls flat on its face in an attempt to bring a better and more intriguing action to its players. At no extent is the game a bad one, but the sheer number of technical issues prevent it from getting a score higher than 4 from me. Should these problems be fixed in the upcoming days, the game will move from being a big letdown to most fans, to maybe an experience as good as WotLK used to be.    … Expand

    This is extremely disappointing. The launch is completely broken. Nobody can play anything. Not the mention the "expansion" took away a LOT of the gameplay and dumbed down everything. Absolute trash. DO NOT PURCHASE

    My quarrel with Warlords of Draenor is that it does not define the direction for the whole game – it just refreshes it and sets it in order, which is what patches do. There’s not enough novelties and the changes (e.g. randomized loot) are hit and miss. [01/2015, p.52]
