May 27, 2014What an amazing game it is! I didn't expect this from this game.. I just wanted to give it a try. Then I got addicted to it. :D Story is also very beautiful. And the gameplay is just too good. It took 12hours for me to finish the game...

May 27, 2014Just amazing!
It has everything that a good game should have starting with NOT taking itself to seriously. There are some absolutely crazy elements and weird machines, insane gun play (dual shotgun? sure!), and an absurd story line. Sure, it might not be an ambitious game and it may have almost no depth in it, but at the same time it is simply FUN to play - not a common thing these days! -
May 27, 2014I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Apart from a few technical problems with graphics/AI (as mentioned by other reviewers) the game was pretty enjoyable. Solid story-line, good game flow and some Wolfenstein/Duke style humour. Enjoyed the stealth element but going in with dual guns blazing was even more fun!

May 26, 2014A game driven by a fantastic plot and backed up by solid shooting mechanics, Wolfenstein is easily my favourite shooter of the year thus far. The graphics aren't crazy good but they're still good nonetheless. If you like old school shooting or history twists then make sure to get this game.

May 26, 2014Simply a good solid game. Engaging story, good mechanics. Not the pretties game, but non the less a story that should be played by wolfenstein and FPS fans alike.
-
May 26, 2014One of the best FPS games on the market. What surprised me a lot was just how short the the is - it took me less than 8 hours to complete the whole campaign, therefore not quite sure why this game has over 40 Gigabytes

May 26, 2014I understand this is homage for FPS from 90s, but why not making a bit more open world with just a bit more freedom? In 90s "corridor" shooters were popular because of technical limitations. Now there is only one limitation - imagination.

May 25, 2014Wolfenstein: The New Order is the best sequel in the Wolfenstein series at all. Bethesda’s team did really an excellent job in AI, storyboard and the atmospheric sound and locations are just breathtaking. In a nutshell: The game is and just looks great!

May 25, 2014New modern classic. Really cool FPS! Blood, serious moments, weapon in each hand, brutality, nazi massacre, good graphics, even better music.... Near perfect shooter for me nowdays.

May 25, 2014Great game with good story, good shooting , and ALOT of nazi's to kill.
the game is a mix between old shooters ( you have to find ammo) and modern shooters.
Overall a great game. -

May 24, 2014Genuinely one of the best FPS I have ever played, Machine Games made me care about a big, muscle bound lug! I hope these guys get to do a sequel or even work on DOOM 4. Well done to the team. Everyone should play this.
-
May 24, 2014It's worthy siquel. It's first game in all the serie, which have very good scene. It's much better than Wolfenstein 2009. What's good it's an oldschool shooter with very good gameplay, that make me happy, like RtCW. The bad thing that is sometimes textures isn't show for a second.

May 23, 2014A great FPS. The 'feel' is spot-on if you take the couple of minutes to get your key bindings and mouse sensitivity just the way you like it. Bethesda has been involved so you can take the majority of things that make a good game and tick those boxes as a given. This game does exactly what it says on the tin. Run and Gun at its best.

May 23, 2014The game starts off at an intense interactive pace and doesn't let up. Excellent writing and story and gameplay! I played the original and they all keep getting better. Great work!
Those giving yellow and red scores on this game are either trolls or immature people who wouldn't like a game if it was free and made of gold. -

May 23, 2014I`ll give it a 10,but i am kinda disapointed because it does not have Multiplayer Mode, which i`ve seen in most of Wolfenstein games.I hope Machine Games will release a patch that will add a multiplayer mode. But,the 20 hrs of stunning gameplay ,beautiful graphics...it worth the 49.99 $ i`ve payed for it.

May 23, 2014This game can be summed up in two sentences: Your killing Nazi's in an alternate timeline. It's not perfect story wise, but it doesn't try to be anything other then what it should be.

May 22, 2014Pros: The game was great. There was many elements to the game that I've never seen in an FPS before. A great story leading up to a great ending.
Cons: It takes 4 hours to install. -
May 22, 2014Finally a FPS which stays true to form with no gimmicks! Great story, fun shooting and a good length campaign (10 to 12 hours) The game did feel like it was missing something but any FPS fans will enjoy.

May 22, 2014From fighting Nazis on land, in a U-Boat and to the MOON! A truly interesting twist on history but with realistic elements still left to give it relevance to what really happened. Wolfenstein: The New Order is a worthy follow up to Return to Castle Wolfenstein. If you enjoyed the RtCW, then you will wnat to play this sequel.
Buy this game, thy shall not regret thy choice! -

May 21, 2014Is it worth $59.99? Debatable, price tag aside. This game for what its worth is probably one of the better games I have played this year, if not the last as well. It really goes back to its roots when it first came out so many years ago, and they were able to create a system and story that is not only creative but entertaining. Who doesn't like shooting Nazis, I mean come on.

May 21, 2014The texture quality is very bad, prologe realy boring, too easy and dont make realy fun. KI is very dumb in some parts and if you live in Austria or Germany you can`t play the Uncut Edition, you have to buy CUT witch has a different story because all about nazis was removed, make no sence to play this story

May 21, 2014Could have been great if fun, but the difficulty level is wonky: sometimes you have to take it down to survive other times you've left with plenty of ammo/health. Was this game balanced? In any way?
Other thing deal-breaker for me: EVEN THE 1ST WOLFENSTEIN HAD SAVE/LOAD BACK IN 1992... Why do developers always have to think on the level of the console-gamer? It's a shame. -
May 21, 2014Playing this game is like going back to the single player classics from the nineties but with the graphics of today. I'm so glad they put all the effort on the single player story. Some people will tell that is not worth paying 60 for a 15 hours-long story, I tell them that I prefer that, to play the same maps over and over again as they do in their MP games.
-
May 21, 2014For Germany,Austria and Switzerland:
If you have an uncut version of game you can use activate the game with hotspot shield or another programs like this. When you play the game, just activate it then play.It works just fine.Great game great story,it gives everything you should expect from Old-School Shooter. -

May 21, 2014Great remake of Wolfenstein. Great mechanics, story, guns, boss fights. You will be happy you got this! Only reason I didn't give it a 10 is there are a few shadow bugs here and there and AI but I didn't notice it that often
-
May 21, 2014No, it's not perfect. Yes, it's decent. Don't expect a real reboot or remake: it has some 'modern' input to please the casual gamer (waypointmarkers, 'press X to Y' pop-ups, replenished health, glowing items). On top: the checkpoints can be annoying at higher difficultysettings. Levels are not totally lineair, so that's good. Really: it's an 'ok' game.

May 20, 2014Great game, totally returns to old school style shooters. This game must be played in 'I Am Death Incarnate' at least. Graphics are a bit disappointing, but once you are merged on the history and game play, it doesn't matters anymore. The huge size of the download, almost reminds me, how I felt, when I bought physical games and the long wait from the store to the house.
-
May 20, 2014This game is waaay better than I expected. I was expecting an on-rails generic shooter. What I got was a semi-open, charming, eerie, exciting shooter with stealth elements. Not bad! And the story is good! This is one of the few game where I am actually looking forward to hearing more of the story through the cutscenes.
I am very happy I decided to buy this game. Certainly lives up to it's name. -
May 20, 2014I love the art. The gameplay is solid mix of old school from DOOM and Q universe, this is the best modern game that brought solid old school gameplay to 2014.
i gave it 9 out 10 because i expected better texture with 40+ GB of size. -

May 20, 2014Although not bringing masses to the fps market, Wolfenstein is propped up by successful writing, plot and graphics. The characters are relatable and Wolfenstein is an overall very good game.
-
May 20, 2014A very poor offering indeed. The texture quality is very poor, even on the highest settings. The game requires you to perform finger gymnastics to get past certain scenes which is awkward. The game feels laggy with the mouse, no matter what settings I use. Finally, I had to manually set SLI. It seems the game prefers non-SLI? WTF? ... not impressed at all.

May 20, 2014Wolfenstein is back! It is really amazing the creators of Wolfenstein can come with this and make alternative history. The single player campaign is awesome and a good story. The only problem I have with the game is that it looks like Activision made it and It looks too much CoD style. Beteshda did a good job on making a new unique Wolfenstein game.
-
May 20, 2014I found the game fun and challenging with much homage to the original games. Fast guns blazing hilarious action or stealth knife kills you get to do it all. Dual wield mayhem is a rush. It's a mature themed game to be sure the Nazi's are not holds barred evil and portrayed very true to life and creed. My only gripe was having no auto pickup on guns armor and ammo.

Aug 6, 2014A great reimagining of the series, delivering a fun experience to shooter fans, while bringing a good story and some solid mechanics that feel fresh but still know the roots of the franchise.
-
CD-ActionJul 25, 2014The only thing in the new Wolfenstein that turned out really well is music. Shooting is decent and some weapons give proper sense of power, but developers failed to build an interesting game on these foundations. It has some good moments but none of them lasts long enough to be satisfying. Plus the writing is terrible and the way the game constantly forces all that ‘war is evil!’ preaching and Blazkowicz’s moral dilemmas down your throat is ridiculous. I actually couldn’t decide whether the game is being serious or not. [07/2014, p.56]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 8, 2014If you've enjoyed shooters of old, you'll love how freshly packaged this one is.
