    West of Dead è riuscito a consolidare le aspettative create dalla beta del gioco, che aveva suscitato un certo interesse. Sugli store digitali è arrivato un gioco che ha un’identità sua, capace di distanziarlo dalle produzioni e dall'etichetta rougelite da cui prende ispirazione. Probabilmente tale diversità nasce più dal suo comparto estetico che dalla struttura di gioco, la qualeWest of Dead è riuscito a consolidare le aspettative create dalla beta del gioco, che aveva suscitato un certo interesse. Sugli store digitali è arrivato un gioco che ha un’identità sua, capace di distanziarlo dalle produzioni e dall'etichetta rougelite da cui prende ispirazione. Probabilmente tale diversità nasce più dal suo comparto estetico che dalla struttura di gioco, la quale comunque si dimostra solida e in grado di regalare molte ore di gioco. In primis sarà la voglia di sbloccare un po’ tutto a spingere il giocatore a continuare la sua partita, in questo modo potrà adottare un approccio diverso oppure migliorare quello utilizzato. Perfino la voglia di scoprire il mistero dietro al Predicatore terrà vivo l’interesse del giocatore, nonostante la storia sia in secondo piano rispetto ad altri elementi. In sostanza, il videogioco saprà accontentare soprattutto chi vuole una sfida stimolante e non cerca a tutti i costi una narrativa profonda nei videogiochi.… Expand

    (the 10 is ony to offset the LOW rating, which I think are unfair.)
    Overal I would rate this game a 8/10.

    The combat is very satisfying. That`s what keeps me going. The story is kinda interessting but not the reason I keep playing.

    I encountered a few bugs, but nothing mayor.
    Ive been playingi t for 8 hours now, and i`ll likely play some more.

    I like it.

    Подводя итог я целиком и полностью доволен приобретением данной игры. Проект достоин внимания, а с учетом того что студия во всю трудится уже над разработкой игры по Hellboy-ю с также
    отлично прорисованной графикой и такой же стилистикой, полностью стоит своих денег.

    Считаю что данный рогалик подойдет для всех типов игроков, даже для тех кто не играл в такого жанра игры. Очень советую, игра оставляет после себя только положительные впечатления.    … Expand

    West of Dead does most things right as far as roguelites go. The random nature of almost every element of every run can cause some large difficulty spikes, but the overall difficulty evens out in the end. The premise works fine even if it means having to hear it countless times over multiple runs, and while the measured combat feels fresh for a Western, the zoomed-out camera angle doesn't help you appreciate it. Overall, West of Dead is a solid roguelike for those who aren't burned out on the genre yet.

    West of dead is a nice twin stick shooter with a roguelite touch and a very nice atmosphere, enriched by the strong voice of Ron Perlman. On the other hand, the game still has numerous bugs, and a wacky camera.

    A game this difficult, with everything to lose from permadeath, should at the very least feel fair; without any balancing of enemies against your character's progress (something that Upstream Arcade has seemingly done none of) West of Dead does not. [Issue#348, p.100]
