    Wonderful game. It's really fun, and exceptionally written. No fat in the script at all. Only jokes and important plot related stuff. The game play is really enjoyable. It's very Saints Row 2, and that's very high praise coming from someone like me.

    I believe many reviewers did not play it: that's why they said that plot and characters are dull and intended for a young public. This is only apparently true, but it becomes false as you keep progressing with the story.

    Let's put it this way: Ubisoft is really unique as a major software house, as it tried to create games with powerful and delicate social, civil and cultural themes. Assassin's Creed games managed to do so, with highs and low of course, but they introduced important concepts: freedom of thought, rights of minorities, anti-systemic philosophy etc, all within a dense cultural and artistic setting.
    Yes, you may say that such messages are not always well rendered in Ubisoft games, but at least they tried.
    Watch Dogs 2 is a game like that: it has something to say. It is not perfectly formulated, but the fact it does is enough for raising it over most existing games.
    WD2 is packed with civil, educational and powerful social messages, all in a lightweight and funny fashion, by means of a group of teenagers that are quite well characterized and devoted to important cultural battles.
    Also, it is technically fantastic, the gameplay is interesting and fun enough, and the story is decent though not so well paced or narrated.
    It basically has the same flaws of all Ubisoft late games: a lack of inspiration in the script, due to the intent of making the game likable to the masses at all costs.
    This is your main mistake, Ubisoft: you have to DARE again, you have to go back to the time when you created an amazing game set in Middle-east and whose protagonist was an arab. You don't have to be afraid of the masses, as they do NOT know what they want. Ubisoft, you must become again the maker of games with powerful meanings and messages.
    And Watch Dogs 2 is a step to the right direction.    … Expand

    Overall this game is just a joy to play but the story lacks at points. The PC performance is really good even on my GTX 960 I can get 1080p medium settings and a solid 40 - 60fps depending on my location. The world is absolutely beautiful and has a lot to actually explore for a Ubisoft game. The gameplay is smooth and solid. If you are a fan of stealth or action this game is for you. IOverall this game is just a joy to play but the story lacks at points. I like that this game punishes you for going in guns blazing. The characters are well written and well developed but never really seem to change over the course of the game. The side missions are a nice distraction but not much else just classic Ubisoft stuff. The main story is where the game falters. Watch Dogs 1 had a better story overall in my opinion and the story to Watch Dogs 2 never really has any high or lows, it just stays in the middle. I honestly think that the story is there to compliment the open world and all the activities that are there to do. If you are a fan of stealth or open world games this is a good game just to relax and enjoy rather than get really serious about.… Expand

    The game is overall good in graphics, gameplay, story and characters design. I enjoyed playing the game so much. The bad thing in the game is that sometimes the character went to the undesired area when taking cover and I couldn't cancel the action and die. The other one is that there are too little music genre choices for the radio.

    Pros :

    - well written main and side quests
    - good humor : npcs; robots, car hacking...
    - charming characters
    - many ways to accomplish the missions
    - the bank van attacks offer epic moments when chased by police
    - San Francisco and the Silicon Valley are entertaining places
    - the jumper and the quadricopter are great ideas
    - many hacking possibilities
    - living city, NPCs
    - many activites : sailing...
    - the best graphics : high resolution textures awesome in 4K, many details, inspired city tags, long-range visibility, awesome weather (rain, fog), enjoyable tourist places to visit, It is really a pleasure to walk around
    - well-optimized : it is the first game to use the CPU cores efficiently : my 5960X overlcoked at 4500 Mhz is used at 60 % and at 80 % in a few places. SLI works great too.
    - mulitplayer included in the solo story
    - many hours : about 90 hours for every single mission and a few multi ones.

    Cons :
    - no manual saves
    - bad crouching movement : you can be crouched only by using the cover movement. If you no longer want to use the cover movement technique, you are no longer crouching.

    The best open-world game, better than Watch Dogs 1, GTA IV and V.    … Expand

    Fun & beautiful open world set in a great location. Fun to explore with great freedom to how you solve missions. My only flaw is that you can't hide bodies and that characters act like little teen hippies with over-usage of "le memes". The tone should be more serious for somebody doing what they are doing in my opinion.     I honestly really enjoyed the game. Lots of stuff to do and everything. Biggest downside to the game would be performance, was impossible for me to keep stable 60 fps even when played on low. Never the less the gameplay is excellent

    Personally, I liked Watch Dogs 2. This is a clear progress after the failed first part. Nice graphics, good optimization, interesting plot. But most of all, I liked the basic gameplay. Passing missions on the stealth has become several times more interesting!

    Прикольная игра без сюжета, но клевой задумкой. Присутствует клевое взаимодействие с окружающим миром (телефоны прохожих, машины, светофоры, шлагбаумы и тд.), но оптимизацию юбисофт не завезли, поэтому только 8

    The game is not a masterpiece, but not **** either. Considering what was vac dogs 1, 2 part is clear horseradish is better than 1 part.

    This is a very good game. I got incredible pleasure passing it. Passed three times. The only negative is the atmosphere. It is too colorful, cheerful, cheerful. I think it was necessary to add at least a little seriousness. And the physics of cars, well, it's just awful.

There is a plethora of options for a (relatively) stealthy mission completion: sneaking behind and completing objectives without being seen, sending the quadjumper to hack everything and get out in a matter of minutes or bomb the whole level with your drone. Run-and-gun is just as fun, since it is encouragedWatch Dogs 2 is everything the first game was, refined and expanded in every way.     this game is actually fun, a pure fun to play. WD1 has the theme with gloomy, dark environtment, while WD2 has bright, cheerful, friendly and artsy. personally, i like WD1 more, but this works too. even though the map is small, it's really alive, the NPC really actually not a NPC, they all have personalities    thanks to ubisoft, i don't even pay a single dollar for both wd1 and wd2.

    the cons, the AI is smart, but annoying, they spot you once, the entire city know you there. although you can clearly prevent it by some really smart play.

    the story is okay, th writing is, too "millenials", i prefer WD1 in term of story. but gameplay, WD2 sure win a big part . 8/10 for me    … Expand

    Игра хорошая и несёт правильную повестку касательно нашего с вами будущего, что если отдать всё в руки корпорациям, ни к чему хорошему это не приведёт, только подано это всё как шутки ради чуть серьёзнее отнесись они к этой теме, то я бы поставил 9 баллов, но имеем что имеем, минус балл за машины и мультиплеер, в остальном, как игру на пару вечерков играть смело можноИгра хорошая и несёт правильную повестку касательно нашего с вами будущего, что если отдать всё в руки корпорациям, ни к чему хорошему это не приведёт, только подано это всё как шутки ради чуть серьёзнее отнесись они к этой теме, то я бы поставил 9 баллов, но имеем что имеем, минус балл за машины и мультиплеер, в остальном, как игру на пару вечерков играть смело можно

    Better than Watch Dogs 1. This game is better in everything the prequel did. However it`s not perfect, and the violence could be developed in other way. Recommended.

    Apesar do jogo ser problemático em sua otimização para a versão de PC e de possuir um quantidade exageradas de atividades repetitivas em seu mundo aberto, o jogo possui mais qualidades que defeito.
    Recomendo em uma boa promoção e em uma PC com no mínimo uma GTX 1070 pra ter uma experiência digna e satisfatória.

    I finished almost 100% of the game and I can say that in general it is a good game. Like almost every game, Wacth Dogs 2 gets repetitive after many hours of play. Multiplayer missions are absurdly repetitive. There could be a better system for interacting with game users. The graphics quality is very good and the gameplay too.

    I think, however the bugs, the animation problems ect. The game is good. I had a lot of fun playing. I loved the characters, especially Wrench of course.

    The only thing that I didn't like is, you can Make Marcus lethal. Sometimes you have to make him. But that doesn't stand with the message and propaganda. I mean, Marcus wouldn't kill Councillor's guards

    Good game. Excellent graphics (only bad reflections on cars and buildings), good gameplay, a fairly lively world. A stupid and bad plot without revealing the characters. By tradition, Ubisoft has bad car physics (but in part 2 it is still not so bad compared to Legion).

    Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

    In the end, Watch Dogs 2 feels like an improvement over the previous game in the series. The characters are fun to play as and interact with, all of the hacking elements have a lot more depth and make more sense, and the world feels more alive and rich than ever before, design wise and graphics wise. However the game does suffer from mediocrity in regards to its shooting mechanics and stealth sections. Is it a fun game? Yeah, sure it is. Is it one of my games of the year? Not really.

    Hacking and stealth elements are so good in Watch Dogs 2 and as a whole the game is so much better than its predecessor that I managed to turn a blind eye to the fact that Dedsec members are annoying as hell. [01/2017, p.32]
