    I realy wish Fatshark would replicate their great models, maps and gameplay in a different engine. I still sometimes play Darktide but it is 100% DESPITE the effing garbage engine that they use. I cant get a stable framerate at even the lowest settings, hit registration issues are even more evident given the amount of ranged weapons compared to vermintide. There has been 1 new Map sinsceI realy wish Fatshark would replicate their great models, maps and gameplay in a different engine.     Basically unplayable, i spent over 5h in this game (bought on release) just trying to solve errors. I couldn't even run one mission because i can't even connect to lobby. After starting the game i'm getting disconnected or the game crashes. Waste of time, waste of money.

    This is a weak 3 at best. Game is pretty barebones compared to what the game set out to be. Most of the functions promised aren't in the game, and the ones that are aren't well implemented. If you like the genre then Vermintide 2 is a better game from the ground up. This game could only be enjoyed with friends, and no one is going to trick three other people into buying this game, and ifThis is a weak 3 at best.     Excellent game, does warhammer right. The music, graphics, designs, characters, VA work, everything. The set-pieces are absolutely stunning to walk through and incorporate some incredibly beautiful environments, and the gameplay is super addicting.

    Je n'avais pas ressenti cela depuis left for dead 2.
    Les niveaux sont géniaux avec une architecture organique, on ne se lasse pas d'y revenir. La puissance des armes est superbement retranscrite se qui contribue à une immersion totale.     Progression is just bad. Having to play multiple hours with a horrible weapon to level up enough and then hope you get it in the shop. Class talents feel very weak and unrewarding for a game like this
    Added a premium cosmetic store on launch but didn't really fix many of the big issues the game had.

    Most of those can and probably will be fixed with updates, the game could be great eventually but the progression and lack of anything interesting for classes will make it hard for me to want to play it much more.    … Expand

    I was hyped for this game but I got bored in about 20 hours. There just arent enough maps very grindy , and repetitive I never had that many performance issues that others complained about but that has consumed the developers time and resources. One new map has been added after waiting months for updates.     This development team should be fired. The most useless, laziest team ever.
    Not only did they sell the alpha version of the game for $60 (I don't remember exactly), but since then nothing at all has changed in the game.
    Updates are as incompetent as the people who make them. I can say one thing, such people cannot be supported, they must disappear.

    En el apartado gráfico no es muy sobresaliente.
    Jugabilidad es muy similar a Vermintide
    El OST, majestuoso.

    Love this game! Glad it's on GAME PASS, would've never stumbled into it otherwise.

    Pro: +NO SILLY STORY (i can finally play an actual GAME without watching a DAMN MOVIE!) +NO STORY (God damn i'm so happy about that!) +Graphics / No UE4 Engine (it actually looks very "next gen" and has some great lighting +Atmosphere +Enjoyable Gunplay +no story +no bugs (started playing at    Love this game!     The Game is a bit of fun with friends. I've always loved the Vermintide games but this just lacks the soul and intrigue that those games bought. Character customization is Okay, nothing amazing or groundbreaking. Gameplay is familiar to anyone who has played Left4dead, vermintide or vermintide 2 and that's no bad thing. The environments are gorgeous but again lack a bit of soul. WhereThe Game is a bit of fun with friends. I've always loved the Vermintide games but this just lacks the soul and intrigue that those games bought. Character customization is Okay, nothing amazing or groundbreaking. Gameplay is familiar to anyone who has played Left4dead, vermintide or vermintide 2 and that's no bad thing. The environments are gorgeous but again lack a bit of soul. Where this game SERIOUSLY fails is in the optimization, with some players even on high end rigs seeing load times of 10-15 minutes, graphical errors a plenty and FPS drops left right and center. The Playable classes are not good in my opinion, The Ogryn can flat out break the game and renders the veteran unplayable in some circumstances (Due to blocking every single corridor they stand in and stopping the Veteran in particular from being able to do what they're good at) and there's not enough that makes each one feel unique, to add to this even now nearly 3 months after release there's no career paths available at all.

    The main Hub is pretty to look at but pointless, yes you can see other players but there's no interaction and you can't even have fun shooting things, breaking things or even jumping. The missions all feel pretty much the same and have minimal interaction past shooting things and maybe scanning something - this leads to it getting boring pretty quickly for a lot of people. Honestly I would say it's not worth buying in its current state unless you have a good group of friends you just want to have a laugh with.    … Expand

    This was the first time playing a Warhammer game and boy I got disappointed. I thought this was a classic FPS with a story. But no, this is just another Destiny like looter shooter. Cant they just make a nice singleplayer game?

This is an exercise in bad game play, poor game design and blandness (again except for the art style and graphics which are very good).

    Unfortunately, they forgot to make a game that makes anyone want to play it for long. The weapons are limited and feel like unsatisfying to use. Reloads take forever and spamming melee with 1 button is basically most of the game. You could make the worlds most simple macro and its done.

    There is almost no purpose to your objectives and missions. There are 4 maps you basically do over and over as if the game was never finished and the character development and customisation is practically non existent.

    It doesnt even tell you how many enemies you killed etc after each mission. There is literally nothing in this gameplay that is not done in a way that feels like it was just to tick a box without really delivering anything.

    Definitely a contender for worst game of the last 12 months. I wont list all the ways in which this game is badly designed and a poor experience but just think, pretty much every aspect of it but how it looks.    … Expand

Heavily melee-focused combat with weird dodging and blocking that don't seem to take when they should. The game's enemies are poorly balanced and are just obnoxious to play against. The levels are boring, lifeless, and ugly.

    Legitimately, the only redeeming thing about this game is that some of the voice interactions between the different kinds of characters can be funny. That's it. This is an early access game that is years away from being even decent, let alone good, and it's still going to be filled with grindy, exploitative microtransaction nonsense that bogs down the good bits even more.

    Take the $40 you could spend on this game and buy four copies of Left 4 Dead 2 to play with three of your friends. It runs better, it's cheaper, it wasn't designed by monkeys, and you can mod it to have more fun on it.    … Expand

    If your reading this devs give the option to remove equipment from the scroll wheel. I only want to switch between my 2 weapons, not my grenades aswell!

Online players can join halfway through but at lower levels you can struggle to find games. Not sure if its the same at later levels thou. I live in UK which probably makes it worse aswell. In more populated countries like the states it may not be as bad.
    My second issue is the starting weapons aren't basically useless. I tried a couple classes 1 had a pistol. You had an ability which kills enemies but it had to cool down and took ages to get a kill with. So that character wasn't great to start with. I then tried veteren for a more casual experience which had a dmr type weapon which also isn't great because unless you got a team to help with the close combat you get overwhelmed allot as a melee weapon can only do so much.

    The gunplay isn't the best but its not the worst. The overall mechanics aren't to bad. Level design is alright. The game has cosmetic micro-transactions but they aren't intrusive or forced at all which is how all games should have them. People shouldn't feel pushed into spending more money on a game they paid for. If they wanna give a little extra then they will. So extra points their.

    The overall issue with this game is unless you got friends who also play this game then its really hard to enjoy. The game has allot of potential. I really wanna enjoy it more but using public lobbys is a mixed bag. When you find a game with a team who has experience with FPS games then its great. If you find a game with people who aren't so experienced or no players at all its just constant mayhem. I feel like making some extra missions that are balanced around solo experience would be great.    … Expand

FS sold 'enough' unfinished games and went on a long holiday. It's down from 100,000 peak players to less than 6,000 players today. They are so happy to reduce server costs even on vacation.     If you are a "Vermintide 2 player with 2000 hours", then you are in the infinitesimal minority. You are less than 0.0001% of the community. If you are NOT "Vermintide 2 player with 2000 hours", then you are in the 99% category. Is this game for you? Yes it is. It is a great game.

    the game is fun as hell in terms of gameplay and visuals and i go to say that it really is heaven for 40k fans such as myself to venture into a hive city with your friends/teammates and kill nurgle followers while being treated like sht is all i could ask for but the game lacks a lot like a proper story mode subclasses maps options and    i will keep my review for darktide short and simple

    Vermintide 3 with extremely addicting gameplay + Warhammer 40K lore. Honestly, I haven't played this, but two friends are completely missing in action since Darktide released. The only reason we know they are alive and well, and not kidnapped or dead, is because Steam Friends consistently shows them in-game. 9/10 would lose my friends again.

    My advice w8 a few months before trying it. At this moment it's completely unplayable, terrible lags and the DC are constant issues. Add to this terrible performance issues and lack of any kind of endgame once you hit lvl30 you got nothing to do. On top of that as i said DC's and lags are biggest issues patches have actually made it worse and my connection/hardware is fine i got like 10msMy advice w8 a few months before trying it. At this moment it's completely unplayable, terrible lags and the DC are constant issues. Add to this terrible performance issues and lack of any kind of endgame once you hit lvl30 you got nothing to do. On top of that as i said DC's and lags are biggest issues patches have actually made it worse and my connection/hardware is fine i got like 10ms 300-400mb/s on average but in game it feels like 500+ms. Also to note this game has got zero plot to speak of gameplay is great and smashing hordes doesn't get borring but with all the other issuesit's just not worth the nerves you will get when you will be kicked out of server with no way back 2 min before the end of the mission.....… Expand

    No crossplay between XBOX Game Pass for PC and Steam..... They are forcing XBOX Game pass users to buy the game also on PC and vice versa if they want to play with friends

    also no scoreboard where you could review team's results etc...

    This game is so well done. The graphics, the physics, the sound design, the music and the combat are amazing. This game is the best Co-op game I have ever played. Yes there are some issues, but the minor shortcomings are getting completely exaggerated. Ignore the haters and try this for yourself. You won't regret it.     You can also enjoy the game on your own, as the game searches for mission partners automatically, or you can play against a bot. However, since it is mainly a coop action, it will always be better with friends. [Issue#324]

    All of these details come together to form a fairly lifeless game – one with all the fixings and foundation of another epic showcase but without any of the polish or love that is so evident in the team’s previous undertaking. Now I know for a fact this game is going to be incredible. I have confidence in Fatshark; they’ve earned that by showing how much they care about their work and their player base. But, right now, in its current state, there’s simply no way I can call it a worthy successor. The gunplay is wonderful and I’ll no doubt continue to dip in here and there, but longer sessions quickly become dull and there’s no real hook, no grand finale, to motivate me to push on. I can’t wait to see what it’ll become but, in the meantime, I think I’ll take a look back and revel in the masterful predecessor, Vermintide 2, and all of the juicy extra content I never got to dive into. TL;DR Age of Sigmar > 40k.

    Darktide has a lot going for it — a beloved IP, crunchy gunplay, and a gorgeous presentation. Sadly, it’s not the endlessly-playable showstopper some had hoped, instead offering a repetitious gameplay cycle made more apparent by slow progression and little mission variation. It’s clear Fatshark has further plans for their latest endeavor and it may yet reach its full potential after a few patches and expansions, but for now it’s best to set expectations.
